I tried to cover everything I thought was remotely important to preraid so this video does get a little long, but it's good, probably.
I am using a new editing software and I'm not entirely familiar with that sheeeeit yet so, idk, maybe this video is terrible.

first thing u need is 6-9% hit
the pre-raid BIS is pretty useless unless you're starting on a fresh server maybe, since you can get raids way too easily before pre-raid bis is even gained
I just started a hunter and hit 60 like 2 weeks ago and I'm pretty much geared already.
thing I just can't do and which is INCREDIBLE for hunters is the Dire Maul Tribute solo runs, both rings, hauberk and 2h is just so good.
Even with some raiding gear these rings at least still hold up

I rolled a shaman, then a warrior, then a rogue, none of them feel right. I may finally give in and go back to the master class hunter!

Not yet.. I kinda don't want to dump any of the 3 pets I have now. Maybe the beta server is still up and I can check it there.

How much hit do you need to maintain for hit cap? Seems like every piece has +hit

BBB shocked you are sleeping on Trueaim Gauntlets, 4% hit gloves are BiS until 8/8 GS. Also no mention of AV ring? Glad to see you chose alliance, hunters poppin' off on the meters with AV xbow. That thing is BiS until Cromag xbow. Kinda funny that SoM only has 3 hunter ranged weapons in the entire thing, Bloodseeker -> Ashjre'thul -> Slavemaker.
Ya no mention of don julio band... then commented on my post and said he did mention it 🤣 goofy
rhok delar is still better than Bloodseeker even if you clip your shots slightly
@@xanakify They are pretty much identical dps if you are doing your rotation. And then you consider:
- you get it at lvl 51
- better in fights with movement
- better for weaving
- uses less ammo
- costs less to repair

I would keep in mind that melee weaving is not gonna be super popular. The bizniks attachment adds 3 hit to the scope essentially bringing max hit down to 6. The difference of 9/9 vs 9/6 for melee and ranged hit is a massive amount of crit chance and stats and AP.
you only need 3 hit if you have Surefooted and Biznicks
@@travisrameysadler9924 You really just do one or the other. There’s no efficiency in hunter gear where you only slot in 3 hit to gear. I’m sure you can do it but you’d much rather pull the talents out of survival to optimize more damage through talents.
@@rilvayn2577 you do more dmg with 30 SV than you do with Trueshot Aura. Lightning Reflexes is huge. 15% more AGI, 3% Hit and 3% Crit. You still get Aimed shot, Scatter Shot, Mortal shots etc..
needing less hit gear also means better stats from not needing to wear such boring gear simply for the hit
@@travisrameysadler9924 At the cost of multi-shot damage, flat 5% damage, and TS3 with 100 AP. No its pretty much been determined in private servers for years that Survival just about never becomes worth it. 5% flat damage scales so hard, and while you're only hitting 3 buttons and 1 of them is like 30% of your damage you want that number getting buffed. It just isn't 1:1 at all.
BiS is card swipe for char transfer. The end.
If you have a warrior in your group it would be a homie move not to roll on SGC. Yes it’s really good for hunters right now but you will replace it in MC while warriors can easily keep it til Naxx.

I think you forgot the strat pants exist from trash. they are leather pants with 30agi and 1% hit (Plaguehound Leggings). Maybe they are better together with voones vice grips instead of devilsaur, no?
Possibly. A lot of those drops, like the strat shoulders had such horrendously low drop rates in klazzic and original I never really factored them in, but they do seem to have a lot higher droprates in SoM. The shoulders specifically I have seen drop a ton which is why I mentioned them, I've yet to see those pants in SoM though.
