    I'm currently putting your 110 BigBore kit on my 2010 Harley-Davidson FLHTK. Do you have a video for doing the heat cycles? At 2:42 in video what would Clearence be for my Harley-Davidson?

      @Richard5873 Good deal, man! 👌
      Overall are you satisfied with the quality of the product?! I've been looking into this big bore kit, I got a 96 Ci and wanted to upgrade a bit in power and performance! Im looking into that 110" kit!

      @joalvarez6252 O Yes Love the upgrade, just sad that S&S doesn't tell you IF you use your stock rockerbox covers on there heads your valves may stay open like what happened on rear of my bike. I have to cut/shave down Allot to fix my issue. I have another video showing what I figured out myself.

    I just ordered the power pack, can I use my stock heads and valve springs ?
    The stock heads are From a 103

    • @SSCycleInc
      @SSCycleInc  2 года назад +2

      The Power Pack is set up to work with your stock heads, and coming from a 103 your valve springs should be able to handle the 585 lift cams.

      With the 106" big bore kit we would expect to see 106hp and 108tq, when paired with CNC'd heads and a good tune of course.

    Hello, I'm a little bit confused. I've purchased the 106 kit. On the instructions it's written to put the black ring with the dot facing up as 2nd ring and the top ring has chrome edges and letter facing up. In your video it seems that you switched top and 2nd ring am i missing something?.. Don't want to mess things up

      Same here! I just installed the pistons per the written instructions. This video seems to counter what the written instructions say. I contacted S&S and i'm waiting for a tech support return call. This pisses me off. Instructions should be clear!

      Just spoke to S&S. Stated this was an older video. Tech said procedure for the 106" or 107" in written instructions is correct. Moly Chrome ring (lighter) in top groove. Cast (darker) ring in second groove. Hope this helps clarify if any new readers have the same question.

    If you do that to a 50 000 miles or more engine is it not best to replace the craink case bearings while you are almost there?

    • @SSCycleInc
      @SSCycleInc  8 месяцев назад

      We definitely recommend that you inspect the crankcase bearings and replace them if it's time, yes.

    How much more power will this power package all done ad to an already 96 c.i. Twin cam engine? It is a very light softail that is used for stoplight to stoplight action. I assume that you will help pick out a couple camshafts for my intended riding purpose...

      A stock 96" engine makes about 63 HP and 78 ft-lb of torque
      A 110 Power Package is around 101 HP and 114 ft-lb

    Good video, right up until you torqued the bolts with more than one click and then loosened the bolts with the torque wrench…rookie mistake. Should know better. When tightening every extra click gets more movement, and you should NEVER use a torque wrench to loosen. 🤦‍♂️
