Yes! He even had it with him when he was working from home during lockdown. It’s one of his most prized and beloved possessions he told someone in an interview who asked about it? A fan made and gave it too him during his last ever episode on SNL, she gave it to him as he was leaving and Bill, Fred, Andy, John and Jason was with him as they was going for one last drink together before Bill, Jason and Andy had to head back to LA and John doesn’t live to far from the studio. It’s one of the rare occasions where Bill has willingly taken a photo with a fan( he’s got a strict no selfie’s policy because if someone sees him posing with a fan he gets bombarded especially when he’s busy. He made the mistake of doing it once and was late picking up one of his daughters from playgroup. He said no more after that, he’ll sign anything within reason but he won’t pose for photos! He made it clear when they was promoting Documentary Now on 92Y one of his character’s on SNL stopped a young girl from committing suicide or something like that. She was depressed and was with planning on hurting herself or was hurting herself and Somehow one of Bills characters managed to make her see sense and she ended up getting professional help instead and it moved Bill that he told her she could have a photo with him at the end. Everyone else got excited and he jokingly but seriously yelled at everyone and said “only her no one else! I don’t take pictures with fan’s after I missed picking up one if my daughter’s once! I said never again, I have a strict no selfie’s rule!” Then he went on to explain what happened when the host asked him!) He stopped and agreed because she’d waited for hours in the rain just to give Seth the doll. I think she made Bill a Seth one and was planning on giving it to Seth to pass on to Bill next time they saw each other. She posted the photo online not sure it it’s still up. But yes he’s always got his Stefon doll on his desk! So they’ve both got a set of each other’s weekend update characters! Seth actually opened it once the woman had done them herself and they’re all different poses. One with his hands over his face, one looks like he’s doing jazz hands, another one is Stefon using his fingers like he does when he’s running off the list of things and he looks like uses his fingers too count them Etc... she did an amazing job with the detail on each of them!?! I think she had her own business where she did this sort of thing. If you can find the photo of them altogether you’ll find her name and business details if she’s still doing this sort of thing!?!

It's weird to listen to Hader explain why he was covering his mouth. I didn't think Stefon was funny until I saw how much he was struggling to stay in character, every time. That's what the audience laughed at most. So I thought it was part of the Stefon skits. He does it on the coal miner skit too.
Well, then Bill did his job. I knew why on the first skit, and it was honestly a great idea: less chance of failure at staying in character, and it also adds to your character.
I was surprised at that explanation. I assumed it was a gesture he'd actually seen some fey, self-conscious, scenester gay kid do -- it's perfect for the character.
@@PhillyFrank1 he’s explained Stefon’s roots and creation a lot, so has John! Bill should of egged on the audience with his hands, when he said, “Aaaawww...”. Followed by mouthing, “Thank you!”, to the audience. Just to reprise his role as Stefon & old time sake!
Well he’s always voted number one of SNL original characters of all time and he’s now officially in the SNL hall of fame! Plus the love and respect Bill gets from a lot of the original OG cast members from the early years as well as recent years they’ve all said that Bill Hader is the most talented male performer to ever come out of SNL and Dana, Will and Bill Murray always talk about it saying that Bill Hader was the best thing to ever happen to SNL. They’re not knocking anyone else because they all think a lot of talented people have worked on the show but none of them to the level of Bill. Bill gets embarrassed when he’s asked about what they’ve said about him because he thinks it’s the other way around because he grew up watching them! They also give him credit for doing live TV every single week knowing that if he messed up there was no do overs while suffering from a severe anxiety disorder (something that a lot of the crew actually called Bill a liar to his face about until an incident on weekend update. Bill had a full on panic attack live on air and then collapsed just as he left the stage. The network and Lorne got so many complaints that week because the viewers at home watching knew something was seriously wrong with Bill, his whole body was shaking that bad everyone thought he was either about to have a fit or stroke live on TV and Bill had actually been telling the crew he wasn’t feeling well and they called him a liar! That video i actually find upsetting and disturbing to watch and why it’s not been taken down I don’t know but watching a full grown man in that state where he could barely talk and only broke character once and not in a funny way, Bill broke character in his own voice which was shaking also and she asked Seth to please hurry up and finish? Which Seth agreed to do after seeing the state of Bill, his head was beating that fast you can hear it through his microphone as well as his breathing! That episode was a mess and if that was my child or partner and I saw them in that state I would have been at that studio like a shot and people would be getting their ass kicked for putting them in danger!?! It’s why the following week when he returned Seth didn’t care they was live he kept stopping and checking on Bill during weekend update asking him if he was okay? Telling him it’s fine, to just take his time and breathe, don’t rush we’ll take all the time we need. Because he noticed Bill had started to panic again because of what happened the week before and he kept reassuring him. And that video is one of sweetest SNL videos because Seth wasn’t going to force Bill to do anything he didn’t want to do and it showed how much he cares for his friend! Seth even grabbed Bills hand at one point and gave it a squeeze and winked at him to let him know he was there and he wasn’t going to let anything happen to him again and it seemed to relax Bill, Seth doing that!) they all respect him even more now knowing that because anyone else with that condition at the level Bill has it would run a fricking mile if they was told they had to do live acting on TV for between 90 minutes too 2 hours every single week and it’s constantly drummed into you “don’t screw up because you’ve only got once chance to get it right, no do over!”

But I decided to get it back a few years ago.) don’t let your anxiety hold you back either. I meditate everyday and it helps me control mine along with my service animal which is a fully trained, registered and certified cat! Prove everyone wrong and if you can then walk away from them, take them out of your life because they’re only saying that because they’re not successful and don’t have the career that they wanted! Put in the work and it will pay you back ten fold. I promise that’s what I did!?? You don’t need negative people in your life, they’ll just hold you back! XoX

oh Seth definitely has a second skill…being so goddarn gorgeous
I don’t blame Stefon for giving Seth that “Kiss me. I’m Irish” pin, so that Stefon can finally give Seth that lip lock! 😆😘. Look at Seth! He’s fine!
Day Drinking 😂😂
bill's second skill is making me love him
Same
Seth and Bill were brilliant on SNL. And as far as I'm concerned he can be on late night every week as Seth seemed to enjoy his interview. Seth is still finding his own style on this and having his old buddies from and talking about SNL, is imo helping him find his way. and don't knock the 'Stefon', :)
I waited for this and it was perfect.
A great opportunity to talk about Stefon.
I just love Bill so much. ❤
Alexandra Gomez I'm sorry but I read your comment in the sue voice
bill hader seems like a great guy...i miss him on snl
They should make a 'Stefon' movie.
Garrett Johnson
That's the greatest idea I've ever heard
OMG. I love Seth and Stephon together again. That last episode with them was so emotional. I love that Seth keeps Stephon on his desk every day. Too sweet.
I want... Neigh! NEED that Stefon doll. Haha so cute and hilarious!
JessicaExplainsItAll pretty sure it's hand painted. you could do that. Oh, wait, you're a horse... but one who types, so maybe you can, after all. Neigh!!!
JessicaExplainsItAll *Nay
Loooove bill hader! He has to be on the show more often!

SNL needs to make a Stefan movie
Only if Seth is in it too. And Anderson Cooper as the villain.
I’d watch it 1000 times!
They were going to actually, but it never got past the writing stage. (Not joking, google it).
@@heeheeriah :00 buuu no
He's adorable😁😁 His laugh is so cute!!
ill admit I teared up during the final Stefon moment. such a great character, such a great way to end it
How did Seth not crack up at everything Stefon said?!?
Stefon is the funniest character ever created! :) The wedding was such a brilliant idea! Yay! - Stefon & Seth! :)
i watched the skeleton twins and it was so good you would think it would bad because sometimes comedians can't do drama but bill really nailed it.
I miss the old cast. These two were my favs and i remember crying so much when Seth and Stefon got married, i loved them the most!! Bring them back, OR at least make a movie on them!!
The Stefan sketches are so much funnier when you know that he’s laughing because of Seth😂😂
Grainne O'Cruhuir and because of John Mulaney changing the que cards
We always need to talk about Stefon
Yessss iv been waiting for this moment!!! Absolutely in love with bill hader. So talented and funny!! Snl is not the same without him. Hope to see him do more and more things, he deserves all the success.
YES YES YES! I have waited for this moment since Seth's show started. I always wonder when will Bill Hader guest on his show, and now it finally happened.
It's that thing where two hilarious comedians get together and laughter ensues
STEFON ISN'T A MANIAC OKAY HE'S MY FUTURE HUSBAND
Nikoo Ahmadi wroNG HE'S ALREADY WITH SETH
UGH HES A MARRIED MAN
Oh man, when they were going over their last episodes they were SO bromance for each other, and that handshake. They were a pair for sooo long, it was beautiful watching their faces emote about it together.
every time Bill Hader laughs an angel get his wings
The king of SNL has returned.
"and we're like, holding hands." best couple ever come on 🙌
I miss Stefon so much but I`m happy to see Bill in a new role :D
Bill's laugh is so cute!
I thought he was going to say John Mulaney always makes him break character with the last minute changes on the cue cards.
Yessss
I wish I could see Wiig surprising Bill because I loveeee love their friendship
Anyone else just look up "Dan Cortese" and have this pop up?
yup
Absolutely
Honestly, truly.
Its sad that I didn't have to because I watched him in 90s MTV lol
and "What I like about you" whatta babe
Such a nice couple 😉😘
😜
I SHIP THEM SO HARD...I literally had more than 10 "awwww" moments right now!
1:21 "...it was that thing of when..."
still here in 2020 reminding myself of the joy that was Stefon and Seths marriage
I love Stefon.... he's so cute !!! The marriage was hilarious !
...that sounds like such a beautiful moment.
My otp
Bill's laugh at .55 is hilarious.
So cute together. Bromance is the cutest thing ever
I like that this came out 2 years ago, and it only has 34 dislikes. Stefon and Meyers for life!
i ship it
THEY HELD HANDS
When talking about romantic comedies, anyone else catch Hader staring lovingly into Seth's eyes? No? Okay then, that's just me...
Seth looks lovingly to Bill ALL THE TIME, so I get you ❤️
Stefon, you had ONE job... and you did it amaizing 😍❤
These guys have EVERYTHING
2:10 "Yes 😍"
The hands to the face thing is just the sort of gesture a Stefon-like guy would do, too.
Bill and Seth I love you so much! They need 2 make a SNL movie with all the most ICONIC characters ... celebrity cameos ... musical sequences ... make it happen guys please !
Not the first time I've heard "well you'll never be screwed, my friend".
Im gonna cry I really hope backstage they cuddled or something its so fucking sweet
He is so adorkable❤
I really want them to do some type of Stefon sketch during an awards show so all those actors can see how amazingly funny he his haha
Stefon should have come out!!!!!! Love them together
I think I read somewhere Seth mentioned maybe later down the road Stefon may make an appearance
David Johnson Which he did!
the guy is absolutely charming, talented AND handsome.
6 years later, we know Bill has more than one second skill, what with creating, acting, and directing a critically acclaimed show and everything.
i didn’t really get into SNL until 2016, and i really liked the new cast. i really wish i was older when Bill Hader and others were on SNL because i’m going back and watching their sketches and i’m laughing so hard
“If I’m not making you guys laugh, I’m screwed.”
Little did he know that five years later he’d make everyone cry as Richie Tozier, and he has even more fans now because of that.
I have watched all the Stefons, in order, over and over during the pandemic. First they made me laugh my ass off. Now they make me cry. And then I laugh my ass off at me crying! mmj
Bill&Seth = :,)
Bill looks insanely good
i love himmmmm
Bill Hader is that type of guy who would talk about someone behind their back, but only the good stuff, and make it hella hilarious. god he is a worldwide treasure.
Where can I get the Stefon dollie?
Jack Poon it was on seth's shows website years ago. It is no longer there. Someone from etsy handmade them, and their shop no longer sells them. If you ask, they may make one on special order though. If you search "stefon Russian nesting doll etsy" you'll find the person that made them. I'm pretty sure it cost around $130 dollars.
They also came out with a Stefon Funko Pop recently. $10 on Amazon. Not a nesting doll but it may be a cheaper and more available alternative.
I love Bill's laugh
I would love to see the whole interview. This was a great talk between two former coworkers who happened to be on snl
ruclips.net/video/uEBAcPWpJog/видео.html
I love their stage manager Gena! Coolest person in the world!
they are so adorable
Stefan always made my mom and I laugh like crazy
"You'll never be screwed" can be taken as both a compliment and an insult
Love Bill Hader👍🤣😝✌️😅😂
What an awesome moment
3:35 Friendship goals:
When your comic friend's first thought is to say to you "you'll never be screwed" in a completely non-sarcastic way.
who else laughed when he said "you'll never be screwed my friend" hahaha
They should kiss again.
They really didn't even get into the actual origination of the character. It was designed to get Hader to break character.
THIS IS JUT SO WHOLESOME
I want a Stefon movie!!!
❤💋 Stefon ... SO much
What Bill has said before is the reason he always had to do the Stefon move with the folded hands is that he didn't know what was coming on the teleprompter, that his writer was always trying to surprise him with the constant nonsensicalities, and that's why he was always laughing behind his hands
Soren Aleksander yup. John Mulaney has mentioned a few times in interviews that his goal was to get Bill to break
I always liked his cracks about midgets. 😂
