I love that Bill always credits the writers for each sketch - he turned me on to John Mulaney a few years ago by mentioning him this way. I wish SNL credited the writers somewhere because I'm always curious as to who wrote what.
The fact that Seth legitimately gets jealous seeing Stefon with other Weekend Update anchors is one of the greatest things I've ever heard in my entire life....
“On that note, let’s take a Closer Look to political correctness.” “Wait, isn’t A Closer Look’ Seth’s thing?” “Seth and I are versatile, sometimes I do it and he’s under the desk.”
Damn, this guy just seems to love every minute of his job which is he really good at. The breaks are great because they are quite rare but when they happen, you can see the real joy he is having.
“...it’s me..” the fact that she was whispering that to bill when he kept pushing her back and just accepting her fate by just sitting still is the most hilarious thing to me 😂😂
It's wonderful that Bill credits the writers on the sketches. Many times it's a team effort. The writers create the jokes and gags, and it's up to the actors to pull them off well. And by god Bill Hader creates some of the best moments on that show.
Woodshadow I know exactly what you mean...if you imagine anyone else doing the stuff he does - it’s not really funny...but with him, I laugh till I have tears just streaming down...😂
I firmly believe that an hour long special of Bill Hader, John Mulaney, and Seth Meyers just sitting together doing improv and reminiscing about SNL would be the greatest thing ever. Add in Stephen Colbert to break the show.
Bill Hader's laugh is right up there with Tiffany Haddish's for sheer delight. I'm glad he let on what John Mulaney (Shy) said in his ear -- I heard "My girlfriend..." and of course wondered what silliness came after.
You know Seth gestures with his hands a lot even from his early SNL days right? Even normal people are allowed to do what they want with their hands.I know the sign but too much paranoia isn't healthy.
I think it's just the ridiculousness of the statement - Bill was expecting to hear something involving the word "midget" vs. "little people" in the context of the skit, but then John just mentions something completely unrelated and weirdly specific.
Tamanna Sharma That’s why Mulaney can consistently get Hader to break as Stefon. He’s a hilarious comedy writer and he knows Hader’s sense of humor way better than the rest of us.
The showcase girl sketch was one of the funniest sketches imo, so I'm really excited it got a shoutout from Bill! The sketch gives me a good laugh no matter how many times I've watched it. And it's amazing how Vanessa manages to keep a straight face throughout.
The corpsing is funny, but I really admire the cast that can go through it without breaking. So kudos to Heidi Gardner, and especially to Melissa Villasenor for having the instinct to remain seated.
My favorite Bill Hader break was when he said on Update "You know Blacula, the black Dracula?" Seth said "yes." Stefon said "Well, there is a Jewish Dracula." Seth said " What's her name?" Answer: "Sidney Applebaum".
I love this. It's like watching 2 best friends reminiscing about inside jokes. You don't 100% know exactly what they're talking about but it's hilarious.
I love Seth's laugh after Bill mentions Yoshinoya Beef Bowl 'cause it just seems he knows that's such a John Mulaney thing to say. What a group of friends.
It's so great when SNL cast members genuinely break and laugh instead of doing it on purpose all the time like some other late night ex-SNL late show hosts
this guy seems more resl and authentic than most comedians I've seen my entire life...i mesn when he is laughing, like a small kid, straight from the heart 😊😊😊
Every time Bill Hader laughs, an angel gets its wings.
Julie Harden I hope it’s acute angle
Ah damn it! I fixed it :0)
There are allot of angels out there in that case...
Don't forget a red bull. A red bull also gets its wings
Same here. He’s got the most unique laugh I have honestly ever really heard. I LOOOOVE Bill Hader!!! 🥰😘😍
“Bill Hader reveals what made him break on SNL”
Answer: Everything
No, that's Jimmy Fallon.
rhandhom1 Well no, because Bill isn’t faking it
Wow I literally came to comment the exact same thing 😂

I love that Bill always credits the writers for each sketch - he turned me on to John Mulaney a few years ago by mentioning him this way. I wish SNL credited the writers somewhere because I'm always curious as to who wrote what.
Also, I was convinced Bill hitting Melissa was planned. What an amazing accident to happen on air - one of the funniest moments this season
couldn't agree more
Luke Fairhurst yes, I agree! I found out about Mulaney the same way, then searched him on RUclips. His standup is hilarious!
I agree completely. At least put writing credits on the youtube videos. I want to know who wrote each skit
Does SNL not credit their writers for each sketch? I've never watched the credits so I don't know
Damn Cecily is a genius. She managed to write a sketch in which she got to sit on Bill Hader's lap. I gotta hand it to her.
Lmaoooo
Meanwhile, Vanessa Bayer is writing herself into sketches where she's making out with Chris Pratt, Ryan Gosling, and Adam Driver.
Ewan McInerney true geniuses
Yes yes that was her plan all along, damn her.. lol 😈

Man Cecily never breaks. And she started laughing.
Every time Bill Hader laughs, an angel gets its wings.
I've seen her break like a dozen times lol usually in skits with Aidy.
HE GOT CECILY TO BREAK!!
That's what I was thinking!!! She NEVER breaks :)
I know 😂😂
what skit?
God, she's gorgeous.
Rifqi Hafizhan the one they show in the video with the wheelchair.
Please do a "Seth and Stefon clear the air" segment.
Sutapa Bhattacharya dear god yes....

Sutapa Bhattacharya y
Sutapa Bhattacharya let’s not mess with their marriage ok
He got Melissa AND Cecily to break 😂. He’s just that good.
Dab on the Hadar.
Watch when will Ferrell was on. Same with that episode with Cecile and even Kate and Aidy.
Will Ferrell is the GOAT of SNL, but I have to admit, Bill Hader's episode was overall funnier. Just had better skits.
And Aidy was barely keeping it together :P
And Cecily is usually pretty hard to break
What makes Hader break? Is it everything? It's everything, isn't it. Love it.
Two words: John Mulaney
One word: beef
Jimmy Fallon Always used to crack, too.
Cecily's reaction to Bill ramming that motorized wheelchair into the table prop is legitimately one of the funniest things I've seen in years.
She almost looked like she was in physical pain and it was so so funny
Bill Hader would steal the show in any skit on SNL. Absolute legend!
I absolutely love how much he laughs in general.
“On that note, let’s take a Closer Look to political correctness.”
“Wait, isn’t A Closer Look’ Seth’s thing?”
“Seth and I are versatile, sometimes I do it and he’s under the desk.”

"Quite RARE"???????!!!!!!!!!! Have you ever seen Bill Hader in...... anything?
There is no way on earth I could work with Bill Harder and not be rushed to the hospital with convulsive laughter!!
I love how Bill laughs with his whole body. It's so beautiful and so genuine. I love it.
"Crushed it" is an understatement. That sketch was comedy GOLD. Haven't laughed that hard at SNL in a long time. Well done, Bill and ladies!

That skit was hilarious...but Bill talking about was just as hilarious...he has the most infectious laugh!! 🤣
But it's good to know what he thought: Oh, there's Addie, I must be carrying the whole table!" (I paraphrase)...

His reaction was priceless. It was like 50 shades of WTF.
His laugh is so contagious!
I like that you can hear Melissa audibly ask "what is the matter with you" while she loses it
I am not convinced that there is any more joyful sound than bill Hader laughing.
Bill Hader is such a gift 😂
It's amazing how deep his voice is, but how high and with such a variety of voices in which he can modulate it

Who the hell divorced this man
DIVORCE?
Excuse me WHAT?
To be fair, he divorced his wife. But they're still friends.

I wonder why he divorced her..?
Every time Bill comes on, he and Seth just giggle at each other for 5-10 minutes. And I'm okay with that.
Bill legit never can get through a scene without laughing, and it’s so pure.
Watching Seth and Bill laugh is killer thank you for brightening my day
bill and seth together have a different type of energy

Bill Hader’s laugh is so genuine and delightful. I’d marry that man, just for the joy of hearing him laugh.
if anyone doesn't want to be Bill Hader's friend i will go insane
I enjoy how much he laughs during his interviews. His laughter is contagious.
Bill Hader...a legend.
Aidy was an absolute legend for not breaking😂
She did. Kinda.
Rachel Auguste Aidy went to college in Chicago and one time she gave my friend a handy in the bathroom at the Burger King on Michigan Ave.
SayYesToAwesome are we supposed to feel some type of way about that? because i feel like you really want people to care and absolutely no one does
I only heard “my girlfriend” so glad to finally find out
amal zuhair I just want to know what that means in the context of the sketch.
It doesn’t mean anything.
Oscar Sanchez Then why did it make him laugh? Was it just saying saying randomness into Haders ear?
He's cracking up from what just happened. He explains it like right after the clip dude.
I don't get it, why is my girlfriend funny?
Bill has the most amazing laugh. I love that he is so silly
Awwwww I love this, it's basically a reunion between friends
