For this season of Barry he recorded a podcast after each episode for the ‘Prestige TV’ Podcast. It was fascinating to hear his thinking process for the whole season.
They described it as a prank, and it is funny. But it sounds more like she was embarrassed and was deflecting. She was embarrassed that (in her mind) he called her out for wanting to see the little boy, and also for the truth, which was she wanted to meet Chris Pratt. It’s adorbs and hilarious.
I can’t get enough of this guy. Every talk show he does you know you’re guaranteed laughs. And he always has new material, he doesn’t keep telling the same story over and over again. He’s just a seriously funny dude.
There’s so many of them it’s hard to choose for me, even going back to Bill Murray, Chevy Chase, Gilda Radner and Eddie Murphy. Every now and then a really great one pops in and I love that. Hader is absolutely one of them!

I agree he's hilarious, but has got waaaay too much anxiety for that. He said in an interview he admires standups, though, but don't get how they have the courage to go up on stage and just be funny. He said he'd be a wreck if he tried. But at least that doesn't bother him as much with directing/acting!

Bill Hader is simply one of the most talented person in Hollywood. He can be exceptional in whatever the type that he choose to work with, from comedy to drama. Love him!

It's funny to hear about Bill's habit of mouthing the words of the other characters. He actually incorporated that into his audition scene for "Laws of Humanity", where his character is mouthing the words!

I'm new to Kimmel as of the pandemic and don't laugh much at his monologue (but they're so optimistic sounding), but man, Kimmel lets his guest talk (the only talk show host to do so) and sits there enjoying every moment and his quiet laughter is so contagious. Hader is so funny, and it just makes perfect sense, give him the floor and that's it. I thought the interview was over and there's still 7 minutes to go lmao, such a pleasant fun interview.
