I love Bill Hader's amusement at the fact that somebody considers movies he's been in their favorites.
There is zero comments so here I am to mess it up :)
Spencer O'Neill Ikr
Skeleton Twins is in my top three movies of all time
@@lilyludwig4323 lllll
Spencer my chunky chocolate butterfly full of my love. Kisses and tickles my butterfly illy xoxoxo
why do i wish bill hader was my uncle (specifically my uncle) so bad
J V i-
Because he seems genuinely really cool
msannie both loved and uncle or...
honestly same
So you want him to be your uncle specifically your uncle
I felt betrayed that no one wants to talk about Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs...
Or in Pineapple Express.
d ミ it’s worth mentioning especially if they talk about the ship in Star trek
d ミ considering he’s the main character in both movies and did an absolutely fantastic job, but they talk about him being the ship computer voice and BB-8 beeps?
Yeah. They should have talked about cloudy.
Or South Park
@@gunarchy Yes.
I'm dying for John Mulaney and Bill Hader movie.
Is that a thing that's happening?
@@The_Stoned_Wanderer not that I know of, but I really hope it happens. I think they're funnier togather than Mulaney and Nick Kroll.
@@abadatha same 😂😂
Oh mu gooOOOOoooodddd i need that so bad
abadatha YES
He knows he's funny but he's so humble. Love him
Yeah, it's his genuine humility and humanity that really makes me love him.
A rare type of American.
That’s the midwesterner in him
Bill Hader's laugh is honestly one of the most beautiful things on Earth.
Ikr?
It’s so genuine and pure.
It's one of my favorite things. His laugh brings me so much joy.
Agreed
I feel sometimes that seeing and hearing him laugh is my main reason to watch the Comedy Central Roast of James Franco 😜😜
The fact that Bill would nearly die of laughter every time he played Stefan is one of the key reasons why that is my favorite character of his
I just watched him as Stefon for the first time today & he is effing hilarious 😂🤣😂🤣😭😂🤣😭😂😂
I LOVE HIM AS STEFAN ESPECIALLY WHEN HE GOES "SPICEY"
Fun fact the actual reason he puts his hands in front off his face so much is because he has really bad anxiety
He revealed that he had panic attacks every time he played Stefon on Weekend Update.
@@sharanyadayal9699 but why? omg
Glad to see we all decided to obsess over Bill Hader at the same time
I'm late to the party
YAAAASSSSSSS
@@StylistFia127 That's interesting. Did you know him as a PA?
not to be dramatic but i would die for bill hader
kinda dramatic
Prove it.
Not dramatic one bit.

Prove it
He worked at my local blockbuster in Tulsa Oklahoma and him and my dad would do an alpachino impersonation every time they’d see each other and he got to see me grow up a little when I was a baby but I’m glad that he’s doing well it makes me super happy to see that
Antonio Paquette That’s a cool story. It feels great seeing people succeed at what they’re good at.
Super cool!!
Thats superbad
**Que Seinfield Theme**
What! How awesome is that? :-D Thanks for sharing
Am I attracted to him: yes is that something weird for me: yes
Camille Binford so accurate
ssssaallgood
Girl true
Omg why is this me
Camille Binford he’s way attractive. The fact that he’s naturally funny makes him more attractive too.
This interview is hilarious to me. They have the flashing colors and the sort of loud-hyped up music as the transition but then it’s just Bill being super chill and calm idk why but it cracks me up
I wish they showed the clips he was talking about
I was JUST about to say that...
I think they'd have to get permission AND pay
They have with everyone else.
I don't think GQ has 'pay for clips' money to throw around.
I know all these scenes by memory, I burned that movie into my brain so hard
It bothers me how they don’t show the clips of the movies they’re discussing
Do you really need to see them if you're familiar enough with the actor?
@@98izzark69 yes
98izzark yup
@@98izzark69 Im not familiar with him, that's why I wanted to watch the video. To get more familiar, but since I can't see the clips or even what he looked like in the movie I really didn't get anything
98izzark Yes.
I'm surprised they didn't include his role as Fear in Inside Out. Great film. Hader's voice fit the character perfectly.
WHY DID I NOT KNOW THIS
Huh I never knew that as well as him being in cloudy with a chance of meatballs
@@jamesprice2163 same! I hear it now
Nicolas Cage should be searching for Bill Hader because he is a NATIONAL TREASURE!!!!
Jacqueline Jones this is an underrated comment
Thats high praise.
Oh

👏
We need the cops of Superbad to get their own movie
Give this man a medal
I never knew I wanted that.
Good idea
Yass!
I didn’t realize that needed to happen until u said it
His role in superbad honestly made the movie for me, so funny.
Cry6ix totally! I mean,Jonah Hill and Michael Cera were kinda boring. But the cops, the cops are the real story
Same 😂😂😂
Bheema Reddy I can’t tell if this is a joke
I wish they just did a movie on his and Seth’s characters they honestly made that movie
He is the only funny character in it imo
Barry is, hands down, one of the best shows on television right now.
YES. yesyesyesyesyesyes.... :D
That and also Brooklyn 99 for some people. For me, these are the ones I actually enjoy and will watch for hours on end... If you haven't watched it, go do it. Andy Samberg is so good as the main character
Dude, I loveee Barry
@@dimitravasileiadou9771 when I saw bill hander on Brooklyn 99 I died
@@serious7422 when I first watched b99 I didn't even know what snl was. Months later I saw somewehere a picture of Bill character with Jake Peralta and I was like: Oh Hader was on Brooklyn 99?
When I rewatched that episode I laughed so hard because I imagined Bill breaking character every time he talked😂
I swear to God I KNOW he did a flawless impression of his Dad, even though I have absolutely no idea what his dad sounds like.
Haha yes! That's exactly what I thought!
I used to not care at all about Bill Hader, but the more time that passes, the more I realize that he's one of the best comedic actors around. I love almost everything he's done.
Bill is awesome!
He doesn’t care about you😂
yep true
He's awesome. He made SNL bearable to watch
How could you ever not care about him? He’s the best
Bill Hader being BB8 for only an hour using an Ipad app is too good.
And a talk box.
why y’all keep saying “he’s so oddly attractive” that isn’t a compliment and there isn’t anything odd about it he’s FINE
FOR REAL that’s such a back handed compliment 😭
I think that's less about how he looks and more about how he looks and acts in a lot of his parts.
seriously like why is it so weird for people 😭
I love how he stays humble by changing the inflection of his voice when he's mentioning himself. Very classy and selfless, despite his fame.
He always sort of pauses, like ".... Is it okay to compliment myself?"
When he cry at the end of chapter 2 , I got started tearing up
Demetrius Hunt same here
Yup same
me too. for a very long time.

I can’t wait to see how he portrays adult Richie in IT: Chapter Two. 🎈 When I found out he was cast, it got me even more stoked for the movie. 😁

Out of all these "Actors Break Down" series, Hader seems like the nicest/most relatable actor.

You just know that the impression he did of his dad was spot on
So underrated as an actor
He just won an Emmy for best actor so not anymore
the go to compliment for anyone no matter who they are or what they do
The sandwiches are fresh,
“Because he made them this morning”
😁laugh
The weirdest part of Bill’s ability to change his voice is how he doesn’t appear any different... like you’ll see some voice actors in studio and they’ll have to move their mouths all weird or something obvious. Bill just sits there and talks like normal.
Bill Hader is a national treasure!
Couldn't agree more. Bill Hader 2020
I dab on the Hadar
Craig B is international treasure a thing? That’s what he is then
Love this guy. One of the best SNL turned actors out there

I wished he had talked about his role in Trainwreck. He was so lovable in that movie and made me fall in love with him as more than just a comedian.

@@lightupdarkness Yeah he made both, he should be proud... oh wait
Whats his role in star trek-

This feels like Bill Hader was coming out of a Grocery store and 2 guys asked if they could interview him about movies he was in and Bill was like “ yea sure I don’t have much else going on”
I would be more intimidated by Bill Hader than Tom Cruise any day 🥵
Carmen Bulovsky literally i cant hold eye contact with people on the day to day IMAGINE HAVING TO HOLD EYE CONTACT WITH HIM LIKE UH😳

If you've watched "Barry", then you know how right this is! I know he's dry funny in that show, but every once in a while he gets laser focused and the look on his face is kinda scary looking.

Bill Hader deserves so much more credit. He's so talented, and frickin hilarious!
The Campfire dude don’t swear
That “why are the sandwiches so fresh” bit killed me 😂
Dae Mitchell “Because he made them... this morning.”
Bill would make a great Dexter If they ever remake it

Barry is original. Great show
Luke Top Secret great idea but barry is wayyy better tho
2:29 I had a physics professor tell the class about a time when he was soldering and a piece of metal flew into his eye

Since this comment got a few likes and a few people asked, I sent an email to that professor asking him if he knew Bill Hader and included this video. Awaiting his response
This was a really cool interview. Just letting the actor actually talk without a bunch of editing or interrupting him with questions! More please!
huh?
Bill : We could never take him seriously because he had *Glasses*
2019 Bill hader (as richie) : *G l a s s e s*

theres no such thing as not loving bill hader.
I love that he calls Barry a “new soul”. We never hear people described that way.
"Because he made them this morning." Bill Hader hits my funny bone so easily. It's like he just lives and breathes comedy so easily.
Are Bill Hader fans called Haders?

Hader finally getting the recognition he deserves, dude legit one of the funniest men alive...
Underated actor and writer. Dude is a genius.
I love how serious Bill gets for his comedy roles and he laughs through the serious one's 🤣
He seems really down to earth too
I have seen most of these movies and Bill Hader seems so different in real life than he is on screen. Not in a bad way, it's just that he usually plays goofy, funny and intense characters, but he is so calm and collected in real life and he even seems a little shy. I wasn't expecting that.
The man with a thousand different voices. Truly talented.
Mel blanc?
I wish he would have talked about his role in Trainwreck, because I love Dr. Aaron Conners 💕💕
How can you not love Bill Hader? This guy is so genuine.
Bill Hader is great. He's such an honest and humble guy but really skilled.
Bill Hader voiced BB-8, da fk?
He is an icon... definitely a legend of our time
I love how he doesn’t realise he’s a star. He’s so down to earth and shocked when people say how great he is. This interview was such a treat to watch ♥️
I’m pretty surprised he didn’t mention Trainwreck. I didn’t love that movie and I don’t like Amy Schumer, but Bill was great in it and the reason I watched it a second time.
Bill was so great in Trainwreck too
Surprised that wasn't part of this

Nothing was great in trainwreck

LYNS You can't make that joke, every single small town paper movie reviewer that only does one movie a week as a part time job in a town of 3,000 people made that joke.
1 of my top 5 actors on snl of all time. Love Barry too
Love how he and Fred were apprehensive about dressing in drag when there are such funny women out waiting to fill a role!
Lol that they did it anyways but it’s nice to hear it out loud
It's frustrating though, because if it's a part for men in drag then it's not a part for women..
I absolutely loved his Andy Warhol in MIB3
Hi. Where’s the step brother in Forgetting Sarah Marshall?! Iconic.

Maybe it’s weird, but I fell in love with him after watching Trainwreck. There’s this adorable quality to him that I really love.
I love Bill Hader. Rarely plays the major, titular role in a movie, but is so great at being that secondary character and has such an upbeat, positive demeanor. He’s the guy that appreciates everything and doesn’t complain about anything.
By far his best role is in Barry - it's wonderfully sublime, hilariously dark and sensitive! (also Superbad!)
