    • @TiesBesselJonker
      @TiesBesselJonker 11 дней назад

      Why were people so mad?
      People said it was because it wasnt fair to add KD, but at the same time, despite the hype of the splash brothers, most people also didnt regard Curry highly, always trashing him.
      And why do people hate Curry and mistake his joy as arrogant? Dude is obviously just a charming cute nerd.
      It's the same crazy logic of men towards women; make them shut up and break up their dangerous gatherings, yet also women are stupid and aren't to be taken seriously and belong in a kitchen. Which is it now? Are they too dangerous and threatning positions of power, or are they irrelevant? Is KD +Curry unfair, or is Curry a bum??
      People always hated the Dubs and only now are willing to credit Curry after these last Olympics now that he's over the hill. Too little too late, bandwagen jumpers - they'll immediately revert back to crazy logic as soon as the Warriors glimps as a possible playoff danger.
      I always hated people and their stupid false logics.
      Sorry for trauma dumping.
      But i am genuinely interested in why people were so mad about the underdog small curry showing greatness and always being humble and working for the team. Sure he has annoying antics but he's a nerdy kid who survives amongst all these butthurt macho bigs, so let him have his joy.

    You do such a good job of breaking this down and it is the hidden sneaky thing about this team. They weren't really the three point shooting team people thought they were. They were amazing from 3, but it was a decoy for the rest of their offense. All these teams trying to "play like the warriors" must not have really watched the game and only thought analytically. What made the warriors good was the unpredictable nature of the offense. They could score from everywhere on the floor.
    A team like the Houston rockets was going to the paint or the rim. They were dead last in midrange scoring % of their offense in 2017. However, the 2018 version of this warriors team was top 5 in midrange scoring.
    This big 4 was so misleading. It was closer to a decade ago now but we're still learning things about their offense. They weren't just bombing threes. It was so much more than that.

    I've been a warriors fan since the 80s so I've seen the good, bad , and the horrible days, we could just walk in the game in East Oakland we were that bad lol 😂😂😂the A'S were the only thing good raiders left to LA in 83; who won the super bowl the first year there and has not ever won again . I'm happy I was around when they did when Golden State and the Athletics

    It's the Duncan/Ginobli/ Parker Spurs and this Splash Bro/Durant team...the most beautiful basketball I've ever witnessed. Just beautiful. Everyone touches the ball. Everyone sets screens. Everyone cuts. Ball never stops. Every play feels like a design play even when it's not.
    Spurs didn't have a walking cheat code Seth Curry though.

    I have been a warriors fan since Run TMC i always like Tim Hardaway and Baron Davis, i remember when we had folks like Nate Robinson and Ish Smith, Al Harrington, Stacks, and that we believe squad, i dont think people realize how much off an intricate part of the warriors office centers around Draymond Green, he has become one of if not the most accurate and efficient passer in the NBA. Just look at him throughout the years and how much of a chemistry he built with Steph and Klay, he knows exactly where their spots are and he knows how to pass it to them, whether it be a direct pass or a bounce pass. Draymond is the Warriors as much as Steph is.

    This offense is the mold that all other teams are working off of today. High volume threes to create space for easy lays. No one does it as good as what we see in this video, but that's what they emulate.

    THANK YOU!!! For posting this. I forgot how amazing this team was when Looney saw zero court time!! When draymond got to play alongside a center and 7 footer at the same time. And when draymond gets a T, another 7 footer comes on court. We had Zaza a real center and a Durant 7 footer. We had a Mcgee 7 footer, David West!! NOT LOONEY. for some insane reason, Looney gets credit for 3 rings, and these guys are completely forgotten about. I am so sick of dumb warrior fans praising looney. And we used to have actual able body centers on the roster. Now we have podz and looney and franchise Is a joke instead of a dynasty

    Start at 4:27. Blake Griffin reaches out with his elbow to strike Curry in the jaw, turning his head. At the other end Griffins violence episode continues, Draymont is pulled down and gets a foul called. Maybe a Griffin preemptive strike prior to retaliation. Draymont can’t deal with it, but the strike on Curry was viscous.

      @@joshchambers5163 They average like 90 ppg on made three pointers alone. You can't guard the pass or they iso you with KD and Curry. You can't guard the three, because they get easy layups. You can't guard the rim, because they will knock down every jumper you give up. This is the greatest shooting team of all time.

    • @dropandy1453
      @dropandy1453 11 дней назад

      @@joshchambers5163 they're just unguardable. Klay went for 60 in 3 quarters that season, and he was the third option. Him and Steph are 1 and 2 in the record books for single game threes, and Curry can make the hardest shots on the planet look effortless. And don't get me started on KD. Even if they don't have the best defense, there is no other team ever that could outscore them if it came down to it. The spacing, the bench, the scheme. only the 2001 lakers and them went 16-1 in the playoffs, and while i think those guys would give the 2017 Dubs the best run for their money, it would still probably be over in 6. Shaq could put up 50 each night and it wouldn't be enough. 1996 Mike would've been reminded of what it was like getting bounced in the 1st round by Larry's Celtics. The Heatles would've gotten cooked with how little depth they were rocking. No one could hang with those Warriors teams, there's a reason everyone knew who was winning it all before the season even began.
      People don't give the 2017 Cavs nearly enough credit for being an all-time team as well (notice in the video for one of the eye-popping stats for the Warriors TB had to specifically mention "besides the 2017 Cavs") because the Warriors sonned them in 5 games. That team is cruising to a ring today, and it wasn't even close outside of one historic game from Bron and Kai.
