@@QuiverGetsBucketsHe did way more than that.
Drafted Magic(which given, everybody wouldve), but also Worthy and Scott to the Lakers and built the squad that would dominate the 80's.
He got Shaq and drafted Kobe while the entire organisation did not believe in giving up their first round pick for a 17 year old, who later became the greatest Laker.
Then ensembled the first team of the Memphis Grizzlies that went to the playoffs and conference finals for the first time in history by first getting Marc Gasol and Conley and then Tony Allen from the Celtics later.
Then he went to GS in 2011, literally the year they started trending upwards with him advising to make Kerr the head coach. He also drafted Klay who GS wasnt sure to draft because they wanted to trade him for Kevin Love, to which West said he would leave if they'd trade Klay which made GS choose Klay. Also drafted Draymond who was fairly surely not going to be a draft pick if not for West specifically choosing him as the very last pick in the draft with their only second round pick that year. Their edition of Bogut was also personally requested by West.
And sure, it ultimately didnt play out as supposed, but then went on to the Clippers and got them Kawhi and George in the very same year and later even got Harden and we all know that realistically if the Clippers had simply remained healthy over the years, they most definitely wouldve probably won one seeing how they went to the WCF twice even once without Kawhi or Harden who wasnt there yet in an incredibly strong Westz
Easily the greatest GM of all time by a landslide. Pat Riley second. Sam Prestie even though he has never won a chip, is for me in the hotseat for 3rd, but he has a long career ahead and has to add some accolades to get that spot. Talent wise he's up there just like Ainge. For now it's probably Jerry Krause at 3rd.

I agreed with Marc Jackson's statement & I remember thinking something like "I really like these guys, I hope they can win a championship someday". I have watched NBA basketball for a long time and I can sniff out a up and coming team pretty early on, I saw GS as a contender after 2013 but not a dynasty that would trample the entire league for 5 years haha. I don't think many people realize how insane their numbers are. From the records they broke together in their first season playing together, to everything that happend in between, good and bad, that led them to 4 championships together. These two changed the way the game of basketball is played at every level. The sport will never be the same because of them. Their records as a duo, and even their individual records may never be broken. It would be absolutely mad for a player to surpass their level of greatness. It's going to be so weird seeing them on different teams this season. But it's absolutely certain that we will never see another backcourt duo accomplish everything they have accomplished together in quite the same manner. This is history that will never be repeated. Klay's shot was ruined because he could no longer get his legs under his shot. He changed so many little things in it after the 2 devastating injuries. There are so many clips of him hesitating, airballing, and bricking (mostly because instead of only flicking his wrist, he's over compensating by using his whole arm to shoot aka catapulting/slinging because he can't use his legs). When you see him play it's as if he's more worried about making his "new" jumpshot (or set shot) to work, like he knows something is about to go wrong on his form and he's actively thinking about it even before shooting the ball or catching the ball.
For him to still even be above average %-wise despite airballing and bricking so many shots speaks volumes about his work ethic.
He can still get stupidly hot though.

Thanks Klay and Curry for making these past 10 years of basketball the best NBA era, since Jordan possibly even more entertaining then. Hats off to LeBron and Irving for being the hardest, top 3 best duo ever, without going through them Curry and Klay wouldn't have proved as much as they did. History was made, was like being alive during the battles of troy with Alexander the Great.

Shooting 44% is insane while shooting a record 3pt rate! My gosh the splash brothers were so good! It's wild to think Klay probably could have broke 3pt records if he was the #1 option before Steph.

Born and Raised in Oakland, and grew up on Warrior basketball.
Words can't describe, as a fan, how dope it was to watch Steph and Klay grow and develop, then totally reek havoc on the league for over a decade.
I think Klay comes back for his final season. He deserves to retire as a Warrior.

The Splash Brothers changed the way Basketball is played, worldwide. Every team that plays a 5 out now and shoots a lot of threes is because of them. Everyone doubted they could win a Chip, now every team has copied them. They really need to have respect put on their names. Everyone loves LBJ, but everyone tries to play like the Splash Brother now. You cant win an NBA game now without three point shooters. Caitlin Clark yeah that all because of th the Splash Brothers.
