The engine bay is looking good; really liking the subtle gold against the black. Maybe as well as painting the expansion tank cap, the dipstick and the washer cap, you could do the battery retaining bar, think that might look good in gold too.
Thanks 👍
No joke I thought the exact same thing the other day. I thought instead of buying one of those after market ones I will take it off, clean it and paint it gold as well 😁
Loving the videos Andy! Nice to see another Fiesta being bought back to life. Such an underrated car and the best shape but I am biased lol
What size are the new bolts/screws you bought for this?
thanks man. Not sure what the sizes are, its all in the kit and fits perfectly. a nice little mod. its the small mods that add up IMO that can make the most difference
@@DriveWithAndy thanks mate I used google and found the products 🤦♂️ these are on my list now :)
You should have done the 4 top wing ones
Where are those ones?
That's all the kit consists of. I have thought about getting another set and doing the four for the bonnet latch when I either get a new silver one or paint it
@@DriveWithAndy at the rear of each wing is two bolts holding it on.
@@ST150ward ahhh will have a look 😁 thanks
Want to change front and rear Ford logo?
Yes I will be getting real carbon fibre ones made at some stage, when I have money ha
@@DriveWithAndy Exellent idea. I want back and white, but can't find...
Using standard grease as a substitute for copper grease is a complete no no. You would have been much better of, not using any grease at all.
Ahhh really how come? I didn't have anything at the time but that so thought it may be a good thing to make them easier to remove
Copper grease is an anti seize compound which is used to help aid disassembly the next time you remove the screws/ fasteners. Standard grease is a lubricant and therefore should not be used for fasteners. If I was you I would be tempted to remove the screws and clean them before re fitting. The last thing you need is for them to come loose when you're driving your car.
@@sparkeli4513 ohhh ah ok that makes sense. It was just the headlight screws. Will give them a check
