It held up ok. The only thing to be honest that let it down was I should t of rushed to re install it the next day as the clear coat may of been touch dry but it was still soft and must of gone a little tacky when hot as after a year it went dull so I just gave it the same treatment but not as in depth and this time let the paint harden and it's been great since. Still cleans up shinny
It's a Pipercross Cone Filter. Unfortunately I don't have a link or name as it was done by the previous owner. But it's cleaned up well and sounds awesome once you hit 3000rpm it kicks in
Itg induction kit from puma speed r pretty good ..also has the link pipe to the rocker cover breather port , so u can totally remove the top of the oe air filter casing on top of engine , pick a 2nd hand itg kit up for about £50 ..
@@swiftyrs2354 yeh that's the issue I have with the standard box on its because it's still attached to the rocker, so need a little filter. Not sure which size I need though, seems a few to choose from on eBay
Me personally I got the proper designed pipe which the itg kit has , main reason being with the small filter on a short piece of oil resistant pipe that breather is therefore directly above the exhaust manifold plus fumes coming out of it will also get pulled into the car via the heater ( bulk head air intake pollen filter )
It's the stock one. I was thinking about the larger one but when I come to do the performance mods I have been advised of I want more torque than bhp then keep the standard TB
I've been trying to clean my TB but I can't seem to get the plug off. I am pretty sure I have to pull on the red tab (it wont come out entirely but it does come out quite a bit) and i'm afraid of breaking it...
Hey, I've just bought one of these cars but at low RPM when I put my foot down it feels like the fuel is cutting? (If that makes any sense) it's not jolty but power just feelslike it's being lost, any idea what it is? Often it's after a gear change so maybe a slipping clutch?
Could it be a missfire? Something to do with the spark or HT leads? But sorry can't help too much as not sure. But for something small you could check the throttle body to check it's not all dirty and stuck
@@DriveWithAndy I'll give it a check, I'm going to be putting in new spark plugs and checking the throttle body soon Do you have an Instagram, so I can follow you?
@@BIG-DEE-EASTMIDDZ yeh definetly. i would make sure to get a high temp paint. you may not need to do what i did as if i do this again to freshen it up i am just going to use the brake caliper spray paint and leave it at that as it should be strog enough
@@DriveWithAndy mines in a proper mess ATM looks tatty so I deffo need prep it spend a good hour 2 hour on that then let it all dry off then prime it up like you did ... Did the hair dryer thing work ok with yours ??

Hi Andy, it's been some time, how's the paint holding up? Any flaking or signs of wear?

Yeh when I get it professionally re sprayed I was thinking the same thing. Or might try a builders merchant to see if they have nice shiny new ones
Thinking about doing mine red... Main reason I'm watching is to see your induction kit... What have you put on the back side of engin for vent
For the crank case I had to get a little filter. This is a video I did

Turbo charge it 😂..

I can't quite remember. But once the red clip is out is there a small bit where a small flat head screwdriver goes in to release it?
@@DriveWithAndy I'm gonna have a look tomorrow! Thanks.
@@DriveWithAndy Yup there was a small tab i had to pull up with a screwdriver. Thanks
@@larsk1924 oh cool that's brill, glad to of helped 😊
Will Fiesta ST throttle body fit on the 1.6L zetec S
Not sure, if I had to guess I would say no as not the same engine, I think they have a different intake set up

is thst standard one mate??
Yeh just standard TB. I don't want to go to the larger 60mm one as in the long term with other power mods you will ever so slightly reduce torque.
@@DriveWithAndy i mite have to clean mine up and get it a nice metalic blue to go withmy air filter blue pipe :D
