You should buy material in some car audio shop. Block, fuses, connections, cable protection and so on are much better and you can choose from much more workfriendly stuff. This place is also not gopod for ground. I have tested it already.
Don’t really have those shops near me used to and they were great and it’s worked faultlessly so far so I’ll keep the ground there until it gives me issues
Interesting video as usual. So if you’re air filter is going up top are you gonna go for a side winder manifold? Hope you don’t start taking in rain water in the cabin without a cover over your heater intake if you’re parked outside
Thanks mate and no not going for a side winder even though I’d love to haha and me neither but only time will tell on that one it’s rained a few times since and has been okay but i do need to make a plate for it ASAP
@@6uiltdifferent cool mate looking forward to seeing the build on the turbo conversion iam having trouble finding the log manifold for my build also what turbo will u be using is it a t25 or tdo4 if iam correct 👍🏻

@@shaungowler8909 I hope so and I’ve got a down pipe with my turbo I’ll be seeing if it works with the exhaust on the car for now just so I can drive it and run the engine in if not I’ll get a custom one made straight away which was the plan anyways don’t need a piggy back you can use the standard ecu or buy an emu black master
@@6uiltdifferent yeah mate it should do, just waiting for royal mail to return to normal to get all my bits 👍 I'm absolutely horrific at anything to do with electrics. In my case the ECU is staying so I just hook my starter motor up to the little box provided by the kit then run cable to the battery in the boot & connect the negative to ground?
Big thanks to Alex boam for his help on this be sure to subscribe to his channel if you haven’t

With the arches letting water in, does the water not soak the ECU with where it’s placement is?
It has arch liners in place so no it wouldn’t

Added watch later! Def that come handly when I re-worked with air induction.
Thanks mate much appreciated
@@6uiltdifferent your welcome it will be non turbo but I want bit more space for air induction

Sort of 😂

Looking forward to seeing the turbo going in, are jamsport going to tune it for you?
Me neither and yes mate jamsport will be doing the map
Is the battery being re located for space for turbo conversion also weight placement 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Yes mate need a decent place for the air filter 👌🏻

Hi mate do you ever use your boot now? Or have any sort of false floor to cover the battery?
Got a false floor to cover it up but I still used the boot before I got a false floor
@@6uiltdifferent my battery is slightly too tall and hits the carpet making it wonky

Yeah wasn’t too bad

Getting there haha and I removed the k brace as I’ve got a bit of rot to fix that’s why it looks quite open haha
Where did you end up remounting the power steering?
It’s just tied up to the wiring loom going to get an aluminium spacer and mount it to the inner wing properly
