Don't sleep on spears, the nature and storm variants are extremely good because of the fast attackspeed that the spear has. That 20% chance to ensnare enemies with a nature weapon for example becomes very easy to apply consistently. And while you can point out that the dual axes also have a fast swingspeed, you can't hold a shield while using them. Spears are legit useful in this update, even with all the skeletal enemies.
Spine snap, frostner, himmin afl, mistwalker, jotun bane. If you also count spirit as a magical effect you can add the silver knife, silver sword and crystal battleaxe to the list.
Dundr is my favorite so far, makes harvesting wood a breeze because the thing can launch fallen trees LONG distances into both other trees to knock them down and into enemies dealing damage.
The Splitnir is incredibly good against asksvins, they're weak to it, you parry an asksvin and throw the spear at it, then finish it with 2 more attacks. It won't get out of stagger
ok so the entire point of me watching this video was cuz u said u will talk which weapon is the most effective to use and yet you just explained what each weapon does like im a fucking idiot and cant read
first guide to mention anything about STAGGER with the special attacks, looked like the 2 hand sword could stagger normal melee enemies, but i dont think you used the berserker axes on them, curious what the new special move’s stagger is, with star enemies etc
Spears are by far my favorite weapon type in Valheim. Sadly, it seems like they got nerfed around the time you get to Mistlands. Haven’t tried them in Ashlands yet, so hopefully they got better for that biome. Their ability to keep your enemy at a distance with a throw, or its quick jabs are huge advantages. If you have good aim, spears are OP.
Far from an "Ultimate Guide". Completely glossed over the special environmental versions of the bows and crossbows. I came looking for comparison of the crossbows from the "Ultimate Guide" and left with disappointment for what felt like a rushed ending to an otherwise mediocre weapon review. There are better guides out there. @Alessio should learn from them.

Just to mention, there seems to be a headshot multiplier on charred enemies, the crossbow helps a lot with that.

Your pacing is perfect! Keep up the uploads 🙏

The devs played this game so much with mods that they have introduced them in the core game

I wish you could press a button to make the spear go back to your hand I think that would be cool
That would make no sense
magic spear
@@novy1198 it would make no sense but we do have magic and I dislike that it doesn’t have a good alternative attack
@@novy1198 Would it make sense if you made it out of a resource you mined from a giant sea turtle?
But a glowing axe that makes roots grow from ground to entangle you does..? 😅
The roots have a hard cap but its much higher so realistically you wont ever hit it
Excellent video. If I may ask what size is the weapon display area you have there. Thank you
7:32 roots actually can be attacked when turn on PVP mode
meanwhile me having a club and a bow and no idea how any of this is even possible. xDDDD
😂
Me to
Are there different elemental upgrades for the Ashland weapon or something? I see players with the same weapon as I do but their is glowing
Finally back 🎉
1:00 you cannot wield it! None of us can
we need one for armor
