    "Ian" didn't use "inarticulate words," Matt. He very CLEARLY stated that having a "black guy" as the head of the RNC was a mistake. Period. How dare you expect Michael Steele to take that with grace? You are showing your true colors and I think Michael Steele can see them now. The party is flat out racist and there is not the slightest subtlety about it.

      Michael Steele is perfectly aware of the racist sentiments of the Republican Party. He's just salty and upset because it was applied directly to him, but he didn't have anything to say when worse racist attacks were being launched by the party under his chairmanship at Obama.

    I think it's so good for America that Republicans are fully in charge. Why? Because for years when Obama was President I'd hear people say there's no difference really between the 2 parties. Many people felt like their votes really didn't matter. Well, now you see the difference. I'm not a leftist. I hate where the Republicans have taken the party. Because i know in the next 15 years when this group of young people start voting it's going to be a sad day for all conservatives. One thing Trump did was make people realize they NEVER WANT TO MAKE THIS MISTAKE AGAIN. Again, I've voted for Republicans. I've voted for Democrats. But i think this country is about to see a leftist uprising. Some stuff will be good. Others won't. Republicans have only themselves to blame.

Even if not deported they'll still remember all the insults lashed out at them. It's going to be ugly. I say less than 15 years. This crop of high school kids are primarily liberal. It won't be long before they vote.

    Schlapp is trying to defend un-defendable comment of the CPAC spokesman. The spokesman can say we choose Steele as RNC chair at that time because of…….this and that ideas; but we were wrong because of this and that ideas. If that is the case, it is good because we all want idea differences, growth and maturity in ideas. We can debate on different ideas and the best will come out; this is what makes us strong. But when the spokesman says we elected Steele because he is a black…….This is bad for two reason: (1) it take us from the debate of ideas which make us strong to a rabbit hole of identity politics [we have to judge the person based on his/her behaviour, ideas or actions not based on their colour or race; no body chose to be born from this family or that family, period]; (2) it have bad reflection on republicans, now lefties propaganda will generalize this to the whole republicans party

    Schlapp should have been cussed out when he said "you have to understand"...WTF does he have to understand besides what Ian said. Schlapp needs to understand that black people know when you piss in their faces and try to tell them it's raining.

    • @ma3ao
      @ma3ao 6 лет назад +1

      Yeah, they've getting that rain from the democrats and have been singing in it. They are too young or too stupid to accept that, if it wasn't for the republicans they would still be in chains and getting lynched by the party of KKK. Remember that Robert Byrd, the "conscience" of the senate and Hillary's mentor was a leader in the KKK. Look it up snowflakes. They do not teach that in schools or gets exposed in the press

    Unfortunately Matt Schlapp's view point of seeing what he describes as a "bad choice" of words as something we have to get over if those words enrage a segment of society that doesn't look like him, is the going theme of the conservative Republican party and there's no reason for minorities to feel compelled to join. Don't get me wrong, most minorities like myself have conservative views to their core but have never felt the GOP represented their interest in any way.

    Michael Steele the former Republican National committee chairman learn the painful lesson on both sides you could stand for being a party of conservatism but you also do not have to take anyone who disrespect you as a man of color ! Michael Steele's black card was renewed !

      You know it's funny that the black conservatives would rather follow Larry elder and Candice Owens and Jesse Lee Peterson because they're a bunch of 🤡 And yet when Michael Steele stood up with had some backbone the Republican party now shows who they really are a party of white supremacy that don't accept anybody of color !

    This is why i dont understand black republicans. Not black conservatives black republicans. I can see how a black person can agree with the conservative mindset. Christian values, pro second amendment, fiscal conservatism, low corprate taxes all of that. Thise things are not black or white (race) issues. What i dont get is hoe you can be part of a political party that doesnt want you. Not really. They like the idea of you but behind close doors this is how they talk about someone that has been a member for his whole life?
    If there was a national democratic confrence and someone on stage said that we only nominated President Obama because he waa black or Clinton because she was a woman and they werent booed off i would become an independent the next day.

    Michael Steele! Come on down!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You are the next brother to find out how it really goes down behind closed doors. 2 minutes after he apologized he told you: "That's my boy and I'm not going to separate myself from him." Translation: The good 'ol boys are going to stay together on this one....eff your feelings. At 3:06 Michael understood everything black folk were telling him 40 years ago. This black man served as the chairman of their party, took all that heat from his own people, and now just learned he was picked as a token. And typical America (Matt Schlapp) tried to just explain it away...........Hilarious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Shout out to all the black republicans out there. Here's what they think about you...............
