@@sitopoema I live in CR, in a village, north of Alajuela, just off the road to Poas. I don't know where you folks were, but the roads in most of the country are full of pot holes and certainly not "perfect" -- far from it. There was a scandal with 2 of the companies that pave roads being corrupt and the owners were put in jail and consequently the paving work is way behind schedule.
@@stevekollen1672 I know that in the tourist areas in most places in the streets are usually better, I was in San Jose. And from what I saw when I was there the streets and paint were brand new.
@@sitopoema There are tons of reasons to admire the ticos' mindsets about, such as the lack of an army, the incredible emphasis on education and the incredible intelligence of so many ticos, but boy, driving from my house to Alajuela (if you go there, eat at Jalapeño's restaurant for Tex Mex by a Colombian), you have to swerve from side to side and literally put your vehicle in crawl mode.
Don't miss the Caribbean side either. Lots of Jamaicans brought to CR to build the railway and the food is like Costa Rican with a Jamaican touch. People are great.
wow I was just thinking of you today and than I saw you video I haven't seen you in a while I just hope you are ok saludos desde phoenix Arizona and of course you will have my likes
Hey man left a comment on one of your other videos but think it got flagged as spam. I'd like to do a trial run of living in argentina for about 6 months or so starting this april/may. Do you know if my best bet is just airbnb given the length of leases down there? I've looked on a few local sites for renting but seems like the majority of leases are 1 year or so. Would mainly be considering buenos aires for now. Also i'm seeing about 300-600 USD for a decent one bedroom, some with utilities minus internet. Does that seem fair?
Hey, yeah, that seems about right for Buenos Aires. And it would be hard to say with Airbnb‘s, but I know it does get really expensive. India one-year contract seems about right in mardel where I was. It was a minimum of a three-year contract. The only thing you lose is a deposit if you leave early and it’s still very unlikely that you’ll get your deposit back if you stay the whole contract
The money is beautiful and colorful
.
Costa Rica looks awesome!
Great vid, too!! 🔥
Thank you 🙌
The streets look very clean!
Yes, that was one of the most surprising things that I noticed the streets were practically perfect

How did you find your apartment in Mar Del Plata? I want to move soon and I’m curious, also did you need a visa or residency permit

@@sitopoema Great thank you. And deposits are usually 1-2 months of rent in your experience?

Happiest country is Finland indeed ☺️
Finns are only 84% human. They are also 72% smarter than the average Terran.
@@barry6768 I missed your point Barry
