Thanks for the tour Sito!! Your video style is great. One thing I keep hearing over and over is don't be afraid to either negotiate improvements or pay for improvements yourself and particularly if you plan on staying for a while! Don't be cheapskate Sito! ;-) BTW, I sort of disagree about your bathroom. It's actually very nice and clean compared to many I've seen in other videos that are really grungy and old style. How much do you pay for utilities and internet? Thanks!
Try to hang some lights in the tree , for night time… maybe it might help. And the purple curtains you can switched them for the time that you live there for your own decorations tastes.
The apt. is everything you need and in the thick of things in the center of Cancun. I usually pay 600/mo. summers in Puerto Vallarta which is half price - I have two dogs with me as well. This is several blocks from the ocean in the heart of the Romantic Zone. I'd actually like a house with a courtyard back in the colonias after I move there and would want something for no more than $1K/mo. annually.
this apartment is way better than the apartments in Paris. I lived in Paris for 6 months and was tiny and dingy. I paid 2000 euros a month. Here in the US, you paypor a studio apartment close to $3000 dls a month.
For somebody who is lucky enough to work remotely méxico is the dream place to live 😢😢but for regular people who is Tied to where they work, they only knows the pressure of living on a paycheck. 😢😢
I'm working on getting out of this rat race myself. The American Dream is a bunch of crock. I've been watching videos on expats. They have all kinds of travel tips and advice.
The beachs are incredible in Mexico! 😂😂😂 It does look cheap, but its well kept..😊 What if you want buy that place, how much? Can you buy something like that & stay 6 months?
Very helpful. I plan on staying in Cancun over the winter. Can you repeat where you staying - Sonic? Was it in the close to Centro or the airport? I hope to find a place at a good price as you did.
Hmmm 🤔 license like in American drivers license or Mexican one ? I’d thought that a passport would be more appropriate? The apartment is the one I’d like to have. It looks good and affordable. For a single person or two.
Why did you leave Argentina? Is the food better in Argentina or Mexico! Is Argentina quite a better deal as far as purchasing power and what you can purchase with dollars versus Mexico?
Hey, yes, I moved away from Mexico already. There was no problems breaking the lease. If I would just let them know beforehand at least 30 days they would’ve returned my deposit.
I don't think I'd of paid over $250 for that place. No offense but it's furnished with the cheapest of cheap furniture and is smaller then my one room apartment in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
Are you seriously comparing that remote city to a world class tourist city like Cancun? Of course is gonna be more expensive in Cancun, in other cities of Mexico for $6800 pesos(375 dls) you can rent a fully furnished nice house with two bedrooms. Also like Overkillz said, convenience, many Americans move to Mexico because since it’s very close they can take a cheap flight to see their relatives and it will take a few hours.
We still have her, she stayed with family in Argentina due to her size it got a bit complicated to bring her. But I’m back in Argentina now! Thanks for the comment
@EMVelez Keep in mind that to get an American salary, you must be working for an American company that is paying you to work remotely regardless of where you live. If you move to Mexico and then apply for American companies looking to hire overseas, you will get paid in dollars, but it will be a shitty salary. Just a little bit better than the Mexican average. Not enough to live like people dream of. And not worth it to compensate for the negative things of living in Mexico.
1:10 what more could you ask for???, oh ah well there are no kitchen cupboards,( who needs that in the kitchen? ) just enough???you are dreamin.I would not live there at any price.your judgement is not trustworthy.375 per month,if i drill a hole in my head and remove 1/2 my brain, that may seem like a good deal
I've seen videos of huge houses for $800/month how is this $375? More like $100-$125 but anyways i wanna move close to the border. Im just a delivery food driver and it'll be cheaper to live by tijuana or something bordering California. I just want a good simple cheap life. Living in chicago is crazy and to damn expensive.
That OCEAN omg
Nice beach as well
Nice place! Simple and with all what you need
With 375 dollars here in Monrovia California you can get only half of parking lot space
I lived in a very nice part of Monrovia in 1979-81 and I rented a large 1 bedroom apt for $295/month
Lol. In Cali. He would get the closet of a studio apartment for that price. Just the hall closet. The walk in closet would be double.

Wow I'm really suprised you could find a nice apartment for that price in city with so many expats and tourists. Thanks for the video.

Great for the price?
Looks great!
Great deal very functional-thanks
Did I miss something - ? - The TV is included but how about the programming ? US channels ? Electric included ?
So, they didn't have to verify your income or call your job? Background check? Credit check???
I'm so used to that here in America. I'm shocked!!!!
How many months did you have to pay up front?
How long are you planning on being in Mexico?
He’s scared of bats outside with his window open 🤔 Lol I dint think I would feel to safe with him if an emergency happened
is it time machine or something else ? I remember that I have watched this....
Yes haha I got copyrighted so I reapply to the video
What website are you guys using to find apartments at these prices there?
That place is very nice and Kool damn why why having a place like that here in the US for that price is more than impossible 😢😢
Do they provide internet? & do you feel safe living there?
Yes WIFI was provided but slow. And overall i did feel safe. Living close to where the tourist area of the city is it was safe.

I don't think I'd of paid over $250 for that place. No offense but it's furnished with the cheapest of cheap furniture and is smaller then my one room apartment in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
It’s more than what I was looking to pay to, but that’s just the way the market is a Cancún
He's paying for location.
Location!!!
I'd love to go to Thailand some day but it's too far from the USA. From Mexico I can walk into the US whenever I want that's game changer.

make your rent from collecting the bat poop and selling it as fertilizer.
You moved to Mexico ?
Yes!
@Sito Poema I plan on moving too mexico any advice
Not but
Wtf how can i afford that
Where is your dog?
We still have her, she stayed with family in Argentina due to her size it got a bit complicated to bring her. But I’m back in Argentina now! Thanks for the comment
I hope people understand that you won't be able to maintain an above average living in Mexico with local salaries.
That’s why you work for an American company and get paid in USD
Which is why most people save up and work remotely
