Shane ,outstanding work on the rifle to keep her shooting and bring up the speed !!! Great idea on cutting the feed tube and making it work . Love your Channel and your work .😊😊😊
Thanks Sarge! Terry Cowger was the first guy to cut a Model 25 shot tube up, Nibs over at Walnut&Steel did a Bobcat for a #103 I think and Rex did one for his Mares Leg over at the High Road. It's a mod worth doing if you have any of the 101's, 102's etc and can't find a OEM shot tube. Those little guns are screamers!
@ Also have a 1894 that looks about 90%, rebuilt it, shoots well. How about a Sheridan Silver Streak in .20/5mm ( excellent as well ) and a couple of Bucks. Great channel !!!
Thanks for putting up your vid on chopping the shot tube, it was fiddly bits but you were dead on about the time element. I was truly amazed by the speed increase.
Shane! I've always lived under a rock and I don't have social media aside from RUclips. You are (as of now) my only subscription. I have a wild idea for a modern cheapo Daisy buck I'd like your help with. Edit: I'd like to contact you when you get a minute.
I cut from the base section because I wanted to use the force feed. Terry's done the same from the other end to add the loading port to the muzzle so you don't have to dismount the tube to reload. I think geezers like us appreciate a break from cycling the gun in oder to comment on other shooters marksmanship or lack thereof.
@RestOModDaisy Hahaha. When I cut from the other end, I recut the notch for the follower and shorten the spring. Either way, I'm glad to have a Dremel!
WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO THE DAISY PUMP BB GUN ? ONE PUMP ONLY COCKED IT . UNSCREW THE MUZZLE AND OUT CAME THE LOADING TUBE WHICH HELD A LOT . DO THEY STILL MAKE IT ? AS KIDS WE HAD BOTH THE LEVER ACTION AND THE PUMP VERSION.
Have you ever tried to Tig or mig the cocking lever where it is worn down? Build it up and reshape? I have done it with outboard motor props, aluminum rims and holes in most any kind of aluminum.
@@robertchase-rr7qc I've seen vids on that but do not have welding equipment or very much experience with them. I've seen other guys video's where they drill and tap a small hole in the nub and install a screw to take up the slack and might give that a go.
@@RestOModDaisy of the screw does not work maybe look at some weld shops or a friends that may have equipment and experience. Good luck maybe a screw try could be a video?

I have an original 102/36. In my family since 1964. Still looks like new !!
Congrats on hanging on to that Legacy Daisy. They are the best!

@@claygood2844 Thanks! It's good to have lots of airguns.
Nice job!
That tuned out great, Shane. Nice way to honor that gun.
It's a legacy piece, the customers brother-in-law is one who wore out the lever. How many rounds did that take?
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU SHANE AND YOUR FAMILY !!! ALSO EVERYONE HERE !!! LETS HOPE 2025 GOING TO BE A GREAT YEARS .. 😊😊😊🎉
Thanks Sarge! And also to you and yours! I concur, 2025 is gonna be great!
Thanks for sharing!
nice Shane!

@@RestOModDaisy Thanks to Nibs, indeed. I used that same tutorial for my 102.

Orange, I like wild ideas. Send me an email at "thesocietyforprofit@gmail.com" and we talk about it.
Which end of the 25 shot tube did you cut? I've done both.

@@daisylevergunfun4786 I didn't shorten the spring, what's the mag cap with the spring shortened?
@@RestOModDaisy That depends on how short the mag is. Less spring takes up less space.
BTW, HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

The Daisy Model 25 is alive and kickin', you can find them at Wally World or online. They start around $52 on up.
