Hey guys - I'm gonna upload a video showing the difference between SMG's, since that is more significant in its effect on the outcome of battles. SMG's are probably the most important weapon in Enlisted, so if certain factions have easier to handle SMG's while ONE faction has nothing but crap SMG's it's a blatantly obvious issue.
The US-Faction is literally the strongest at the moment in Enlisted? I don’t know where this comes from but they shine at BR 3-5 and not below… so yeah, the BR 1 carabines might be bad but the BR 2 Ross Rifle is the best carabine in the game according to people like Quadro and I also got my own experiences and think the same…
As I mentioned to another comment on here, I think the reason the USA faction are doing so well at the moment is because a lot of veteran players have returned to grind for the new cool stuff added for the USA. Eventually they'll lose interest and move onto the next faction when new stuff is added for them in the next update. I've noticed that BR 5 USA tend to win a lot more compared to BR 2 USA. As for the Ross rifle - I'm not 100% certain, but I believe it also has the muzzle-climb and random-direction recoil similar to all the other USA rifles (except the starter Springfield). I found that rifle to be quite fun to use too, but I'm not too keen on the way the sights look compared to more rounded-looking sights like the Lee Enfield. The M1 Carbine is BR2 btw, and it really shouldn't be quite so under-powered, but if you can tap-fire fast it can almost be like a full-auto rifle. You can also setup a mouse button 'macro' to rapidly 'repeat' as a secondary left-mouse button just for using that one rifle. Also I think they should increase the power & reduce the recoil of semi-auto rifles generally, as currently SMG's dominate too much in BR1-4 (then we get full-auto rifles in BR5). It's nice that bolt-actions are so useful at long-range, but it seems silly that semi-autos require multiple hits to kill an enemy soldier.
I don't understand how this is a valuable metric for a bolt action rifle. You have to go back on target after each shot anyway, either you killed the guy and move on to the next one who isn't in the same place, or you missed and you have to track him again. Not being able to go back to aiming in the same spot after each shot doesn't seem to matter that much. And frankly, aside from the terrible m2 carbine and the fact that they only have one semi auto in brIII, they have a really good line up of rifles. I just started grinding US after almost finishing soviets, reaching full brIII with germans, and brII with japanese, now I'm at brIII US grind. To me, being able to chose between, Ross, SMLE and SMLE mk is a good choice (also the ring sights are awful, marine springfield is worse than notch sight). Ross is fast but has wierd sights and just 5 rounds, SMLE is fast, has 10 rounds and has perfect sights (although that might be because I played too much Verdun the game) and SMLE mk is super fast but bad sights. I am fast with each shot, even better than solid but slow german and japanese rifles, only rivaled by soviet winchester. Now I'm not here to disagree, but it really doesn't seem to me that the issue presented is in any way a problem for the faction, or indicative of allies negative bias. I'd say even that besides the fact that they have a lot of veterans, US just has a really good techtree, with solid weapons, even if some of their meta is different from others, such as brIII machinegunners being more of assaulters than in case of germans or soviets. Plus they have great tanks with mounted MGs which is great (that lack really hurts soviet tanks).
@@WinstonSmith.74 Your point being? Sorry but I geniuenly don't feel like they are underpowered. Grease gun is like an AR in early br, hits like a truck and easy to aim, even at a distance and lanchester is great, it has fast fire rate making for a good TTK.
@@nilsmadej9091 Just TRY the mp40 on the shooting range - it has virtually zero recoil and dispersion compared to any US smg. Also - haven't you noticed the really crazy dispersion of the M3 ? You may think your shots are hitting the target, but if you test it against an actual target where you can see the bullet holes, you'll suddenly see how many rounds have landed way off where you thought they had hit.
Regarding bolt-action random recoil - Why is a rifle which naturally falls back on target superior to one which ends up in a random direction from the target ? Being able to acquire your next target much faster due to the rifle muzzle dropping back down after every shot is a significant advantage compared with having to spend extra time and effort moving around trying to find the next target. The best test is simply to equip your riflemen with a rifle like the Lee Enfield, then if you have 2nd weapon slot unlocked (instead of backpack) put the Springfield there, then try firing the Lee Enfield at enemies at medium-to-long range, then switch to the Springfield and continue firing at them. You'll find the Springfield allows you to quickly transition between targets much easier than the Lee Enfield. (obviously if you don't have riflemen with 2nd weapon slot then it's a bit harder to do a direct comparison against the same targets - you'd need to switch to a 2nd soldier with the Springfield, move to the same position, and start firing at the same targets)
@WinstonSmith.74 to me, range results don't matter as much as those from practice. When shooting an enemy I get my feedback, my shots land and kill. As for mp40, it is the main workhorse of the German tech tree and it's not that much different in practice than Lanchester.
Well I haven't even included any Japanese weapons as I never play as that faction. Teams win or lose based more on the ability of the players who play that faction at that particular time. The Japanese faction had a very long period of winning every game, but I guess that has now changed due to most 'veteran' players now deciding to play USA instead. It usually depends on which faction has the new weapons to research, combined with new maps. I assume veteran players are grinding the USA to unlock the new tank and Hyde Assault Rifle.
Japan teams were stacked for quite awhile. Maintaining a 75% W/L rate with them was nothing. Lately though; tons of highly competent US teams, so its more like 50/50 W/L in the past couple weeks.
yo man how u doin' ? I did have Arma 3, but Steam did an update that stopped it working for Win7 (and I refuse to 'upgrade' to shitty Win10 since my PC works perfectly and has never had a virus in the 10 years since I built it). I just play a bit of Lonefighter in Enlisted, and I'm supposed to be working on a Berlin map (but havent really had time recently). I've been spending most of my time going out doing fun stuff with my pal (check out his channel to see what we've been up to - link below) Send me a friend request on Discord if u want.

just try the German mp40 or 38 vs any US smg

Have you even looked at the US and Japanese tanks?
Nope - I pretty much never play tanks, and also never play as the Japanese faction. I just know the German tanks dominate against USA and Soviets.
Why do I still always lose when I play the Japanese tho? If the odds are stacked in our favor lmao? 😂
