    Here are the Specs on the Milwaukee Top Off unit.
    The MILWAUKEE M18 TOP-OFF 175W Power Supply delivers faster simultaneous power to personal devices and small electronics. Attach any M18 battery to provide continuous power or recharge devices with (1) AC 120V outlet, (1) USB-C PD port, and (1) USB-A port. Users can quickly charge up to three devices at the same time, without the barriers of speed throttling. With the USB-C PD port (45W), this battery inverter is capable of recharging devices, from a fully depleted state to 80% capacity, up to 75% faster than conventional wall chargers (5W). The compact portable power supply has an attached metal rafter hook that can be extended to hang it from carts, lumber, or other jobsite materials when worksurface space is limited. Users can instantly set up a mobile workstation or keep electronics securely within eyeshot, rather than making frequent trips to a wall outlet.
    * Includes (1) AC 120V Outlet, (1) USB-C PD (45W) Port, and (1) USB-A (2.4A) Port
    * Fits All M18 Batteries
    * 175W Continuous Watts
    * Ideal for laptops, cellphones, TVs, and other small devices
    * Rafter hooks allows for versatility on the jobsite to hang on common materials or carts

    The thing I think the top off is missing is the ability to plug it directly into your car socket like the ryobi one does

    I'm not like most people. When I go camping, I leave all those "devices" at home. I go camping to get away from all that

      How about lighting. Id use it for a light

    • @JWimpy
      @JWimpy 3 года назад +1

      @@emacdaqt350 Might be handy for that but I enjoy the old fashion gas lantern, like a Coleman. Or especially a campfire. But that's just me. Camping today is glamping. Glamours camping.

      I always have flashlights as well as lanterns when camping, so my top-off comes with every time pretty much solely to ensure I will never be that guy in the thriller/horror movie running from a great evil in the dark woods with a flickering, dying flashlight ( slight hyperbole ).
      Sometimes its nice to see things without a lamp putting as much light in your own direction as it does everywhere else. It's always good to be able to throw a whole bunch of light in a specific direction if one so desires ( especially in bear country ).
      Nothing ridiculous and huge like old school mag lights or the pistol grip lights that were popular in the 90s ( although I do have a few modern ones that are absolutely massive, comparing them to Maglites or pistol grip floods would only make sense in terms of general size. Comparing output would be like comparing a Derringer to a GAU-8 ).
      Nowadays one can have far more power than any Maglite or gimmicky " 9 bajillion candle power " pistol grip light has ever provided with a light that still fits comfortably in pocket.
      All said, such lights are for things like security, night hikes etc etc. Lanterns ( fueled of course ) will always have their place at the camp site.

      I believe this day and age camping has become more of a hybrid or fine line of having some items rather than the whole get away from all that when I go camping etc because of possible emergency & even the danger of gas lanterns haha thats how fires start. Even more so now camp fires are starting to be propane only set by campground rules etc. Glamping to me is rollin in with a rv, deck out van or trailer to a spot.

    Not gonna lie I'm kind of waiting on the 12.0 Forge Battery and hoping it eeks out a little bit more power out of it as well 😅👍

    While this unit works and maybe it is the only way to charge so many devices, it is not efficient for your battery to convert dc to ac then back dc power. I have some usb A cables that split 1 to 3 which allows me to charge 3 devices and still leaves the usb C port and the 110 outlet free.

    • @PhillipBridgesReviews
      @PhillipBridgesReviews  3 года назад +5

      True, on the dc back to ac to dc. But when you usually split a usb, you only get the maximum output of that usb. Meaning, if it’s a 2.5 output USB. Divide that between your 3 switch device. You would end up with longer charge times.

    So I've got a question for you. If you take a extension cord and add in a spliced tail. So that there are 2 male ends and one female and And then plug it into 2 Milwaukee top offs does Is that double your available electrical Ambridge. therefore using 2 Milwaukee topoffs to power bigger appliances such as a coffee maker

    • @PhillipBridgesReviews
      @PhillipBridgesReviews  2 года назад

      Lol. That is an interesting question. I’m not really sure. That would be a good test.

    When the device cycles through the ports, it’s not showing you which ones are charging. I would hope that’s all ports continuously are charging.
    The cycling is just the stats. It’s showing what each port draws and then cycles through that.

      From a local supply store. They were changing out the whole display. I added the light. It’s a LED that backlights it. 😉
