M18 Car jump starter/top off!! I'm all about milwaukee and I love what they're doing with "cutting the chord" they'll take over everything if they keep up with their goals!!
The only thing keeping me on the dewalt platform rn is Milwaukee not having a track saw and i like dewalts multi tool. But i carry my dewalt in the milwaukee packouts hahahaha

Hey bud I don’t no if you realize that you are plenty over the 100k mark and to be more spacific your at 112k that’s awesome buddy! Had absolutely no idea about this and it just changed my life. In small town Georgia, our home Depot is small. And doesn't have too much going on, thank God for RUclips and the internet lol. Been missing out on hundreds of Milwaukee options
I use the Top-Off to power my DSL modem and WiFi access point during power outages. It runs for about 3 hours off an XC5.0. No cell reception where I live, so WiFi is essential to my ability to place or receive calls/texts. I love it and will buy a couple more as my M18 battery collection grows over time. Highly recommended!
When I first clicked I thought wow! Now they found an easy way to make our corded tools cordless. A small light version of the full size inverter. All that other stuff yea is great to keep around the house. But my solar bank does a good job charging my phone if I need portable power. Still a cool and handy device to have.
Great video, thx.....I keep one of these on my truck with an HD12 to keep all my cordless batteries charged. And, when we have an overnight power outage I use one for my router to keep my Wi Fi on and another for my computer and a lamp - they'll last over 6 hrs!
FYI Ii have a power supply for a amateur radio. the input is 115V AC 60 Hz 270W output is 13.8V DC 12 AMP constant and 14 AMP surge. when i bought the topoff i brought it home . hooked it to a 4.0 battery (what i had charged at the time) i ran this power supply with a Amateur radio sending and receiving for 3 1/2 hours on a fully charged 4.0
I have 2 of these their freaking awesome! Went to San Diego couple months ago. Was riding in my bike hauling my two boys in the kid trailer and a Sony boom speaker powered by this Milwaukee tool. Cruising down mission park it was awesome!
I love power tools and just recently made the switch from DeWalt to Milwaukee but what got me to subscribe is the dew. Keep pumping up that dew. I guarantee the subs will skyrocket
Milwaukee is the total game changer in cordless tools. I have way too many to count now. They’re all bulletproof and work perfectly. Don’t really think that top off is for me. It seems to have very limited uses.
@@nicolec7290 Milwaukee tool is better than Ryobi on literally everything besides cost. If you have the money, Milwaukee is a no brainer. Of course we don't live in a perfect world where we have infinite money.
what about the helper that brings his corded tools to the jobsite in middle of nowhere that doesnt have service yet? will it run any smaller corded power tools for any length of time with a big AH battery?
I think it would be great for running a soldering iron in the field. I also think the small fan seams to be a problem. I would like to see a passive heat sink.
No; that's not how electricity works. Even if the inverter were 100% efficient, your best case scenario would be charging up one battery by completely draining the other.
Wait a second, you showed that big amp like you plugging in to it but that didn't sound like 4 12 cabinet. Did you only plug in to that little solid state?
This is pretty cool, however, I’m really surprised that this battery will power a chainsaw, but not a tea kettle 🤔 probably more to do with the inverter than the battery.
I know it is going to upset some people BUT...Ridgid, Makita etc. Have chargers that clip right onto your battery than can charge anything with a usb which seems to be close to the limitation of this bulky inverter...YES it does have some cool capabilities BUT again it isn't anything that I personally would consider to be above and beyond what other companies are putting out on the market especially for 4X the price.

Use usbc as it's usb power delivery and can deliver more power at higher voltages compared to usba if your device supports it. Like the galaxy phones, pixels, etc.

Things I know that it would work well for: obviously charging your phone and small electronic devices. But rather than paying top dollar for dedicated LED lighting, radios, emergency tire pump Etc. This would be a great alternative. Dedicated lighting and radios are expensive and yet you can find cheap LED lighting and radios for just a few dollars in any average store.
For things like an "Emergency tire pump" you now need to dedicate a $200 battery to your "top off" unit. So instead of keeping a 12V emergency pump in your trunk, you have to have the top off, a large battery, AND an emergency pump as well. Also, alternative emergency tire pumps are not usually USB or 110V, so this wouldn't work for them.

What’s the difference between this and the smaller usb inverter that you reviewed? Just more charging ports?
That’s because your Samsung is taking advantage of the USB C PD. It can charge a laptop really fast with the USB cord if it supports that.
Hope they get an updated one that can be used for heavier duty electronics! But yeah this is fricken awesome!
What pancake compressor do you recommend? I’m thinking about buying a Bostitch 6 gallon model.

Will it run a garage door opener so I could set the limits on said opener?
Can it run a hammer drill or corded tools instead of dragging a lead out for a quick job?

How many hours to run a modem and WiFi router during power outages?
Now would this run corded tools like a rotary hammer or angle grinder? The battery runs the cordless versions no problem.

No; corded angle grinders use like 900 watts of power, and this thing only provides 175.

Check the wattage on your fridge, but probably not, unless you wired up a few of them in series.
