I watch a lot of videos on trucks with special editions/builds. By far the nicest Ram I have ever seen. If I had a farm I would be all over this. Purpose built with a lot of features, but nothing frivolous. I cannot say enough about how amazing this build is. You were spot on when you said that the 40” tires look proportionate. There are not many builds that can pull it off.

Lol. If you had a farm you would sell this and buy 2 functional trucks. But this truck is stupid cool for a rich city slicker! I wondered if they changed the gears to accommodate the 40's. Beautiful truck.

@@Swissk31300BO eh, I think he meant it would be a tank. And he's right! But I'd hate to hook a gooseneck up to that girl. Sexy mall crawler. I wouldn't even want to try to pull a 36' camper with that. Crazy drop and those tires gotta hurt the gearing. Hopefully they addressed that but I doubt it.

If I would do it over again I would have bought my truck from you guys. I remember talking to your dealership years ago. That truck is built perfectly 👌🏻. What I love about the truck is that everything works together and fits perfectly. I’ll check out your dealership. I live in PA.
I believe those interested can still send their truck to AEV direct. That package with 37's instead of 40's was around $25k a couple years ago.

Very nice truck. FYI the electronic shift on the fly transfer case, that you stated is new for 2022, my 2019 Ram 2500 has it.

2 Engine choices. V10 or Diesel. The transmissions should be a 10spd manual or a 8spd automatic.

Aside from the diesel option Ive never understood why you’d buy this vs a Power Wagon. The PW comes lifted where 37s fit without rubbing, has a winch, lockers, swaybar disconnects and are much cheaper.
This is the extreme version of a power wagon!

Looks good except for that front light bar... should have put a Diode dynamics Amber light bar on their instead.... that would have made it perfect... IMHO, front (white) light bars make no sense. Amber is far superior, especially as an axillary light.
Diode makes some great products!
You can also option for the AEV 7000 lights that mount to the front hoop, and get amber lenses for those. Massive light output.
Nice truck, however no mention or listing on the window sticker if it has "Limited Slip" or "Locking" FRONT and rear differentials (like the Power Wagon). If not then it is just a lot of bling.
Leave it in front of your home to show off, but skip the off roading.

I have ordered a 2023 model year with high output Cummins AEV EDITION XL.
I will be putting the new AAM 11.5 rear locker that is on the Ram Rebel. I can order thru ram this summer. Aftermarket will soon follow since Ram Has done the engineering for this AAM 11.5 rear differential.
Will have to install the rear locker myself. Doing more homework on the FRONT LOCKER on the PW. They all share the same difs. Just different gearing.

Funny that’s a 2022 because that’s exactly how we’ve mounted our full size spare on method rims for the past two years to a molle panel and that exact tension bar. Custom made by our friend for our race team. Perhaps they got the idea from someone… lol

My dream 100k truck would be a long bed crew cab dually on 35's, brand new beefy manual trans, 1000 under the hood, and still able to tow heavy....and a 20 inch screen on the dash with 2x12 subs hidden in the back somewhere, not compromising ample storage space.
Make it a 1 ton with a manual transmission and it would be perfect.

2022 just is not the year to buy an HD truck. These prices are ridiculous. I'm going to stick with my current truck until the prices come down. Maybe by then the new cummins will be out.
This is a fully upfit custom truck, stock units are much less.
I bought an HD this year, never had one before. Figured I’d splurge before Liberal governments make you drive a fruity electric. High priced truck, small price to pay for some shit that can pull a lot and has balls.

AEV will change the gears for more money. The last one I saw had 4.88 gears ! And also add lockers .

rear bumper/tailgate looks unfinished with that strip above the bumper, otherwise gorgeous truck
that truck weighs 8780 lbs you need to upgrade your license if you drive it in Fla. It's something like a class d felony If you don't😵anything over 7500 lbs.

The talks like if he does a good enough job everyone will run out and buy a 100000 dollar truck. In 5 years half the stuff on it will not work and the rust will have started it’s work. But it is a beaut.

I have a 2021 White Dodge Ram Limited for sale Full AEV package -
All that and no diff lockers. Plus, if you are going to drop $100k+ on a Ram with 40+ inch tires wouldn't you pay the extra for the Aisin transmission? The 68RFE is a known weak point.
There are always options that can be added!
those aev's are pretty awesome. BUT i feel like who ever made this video or owns that truck isnt a real dodge guy, otherwise they would no why you absolutely never never never drive around with the mirrors flipped up if your not towing. If you dont know ask any dodge guy. it means something specific, maybe thats what you were going for?

The size and weight of the truck makes it almost useless offroad. I am sure it could do a few trails in moab but thats it. It is way to big and heavy.
