I know exactly which one you're talking about lol! They originally had it listed for 96 or 98K and I was like sold! Then they were like oops no that was just the base truck price (Limited) and it went up to 147k. Simple mistake, I figured that was the case, they are a good bunch at that dealership.
I have over 20k in suspension mods in a 16 cummins on 40s. It's cool to look at but thats about it. I'm going down to 37s after I weat out these for more usability
Looks like something Mad Max would own. It’s definitely a sweet ride, just can’t afford these type vehicles. Cost as much as my house cost. It’s nice though.
In my opinion, the AEV conversion for many models simply work. Many may argue that AEV pricing is a bit ridiculous, but when you get the fit and finish along with purposeful and functional form, you really can't beat it.
I would not buy any truck that’s built by the dealer or 3rd party company. You’re paying a bunch of extra money for a truck that will be the same as any other truck built by the same people. So if you want something nice just buy a stander truck and build it to your liking is my opinion.😊
No, "Look Ma a pickup truck that cost $30k more than the new house I bought in 1989." Aren't you curious what the yearly ownership cost is? Property tax, insurance, fuel, tires, maintenance. But if you have to wonder about those things then you can't afford the truck anyway. I paid more for my sailboat. To each his own.
Too many bells and whistles. Hey, of course you can buy whatever you want. The prices are way too high. That's what is sad. But also trucks appear to be luxury vehicles now. To each his own. I'm just old and remember different times.
You’re right. But I think it’s more of the consumers fault though. I’d love a nice damn truck like this but at the same time I’d appreciate having a classic work like truck without all the unnecessary technology for less and use it for what it’s meant for rather then lusting and trying to impress others.
As a watch another RUclipsr who video consists of telling you the manufacturers are freaking out and stopping production because trucks are not selling to then see this trucks price. Can you RUclipsrs get in on a conversation and get your story straight
If youre going to buy a new truck, i do believe this is the only way to get an overland ready full size hd truck from the market under warranty. If youre going to get an older used truck then you can probably build one for a lot less…it just depends on what you want and what your budget is 🤷🏻♂️
No lockers, not fully loaded and over $110k. Ridiculous.
Correction... It's insane
No 12" screen either
The end is near
Some idiots is going to buy it . And say to themself aw that’s not to bad
$$$$$$$
I have 2020 Ram 2500 with AEV on 40s. In city isnt the good or bad. It makes up on Hwy Mpg and fuel economy.
I'd be more than happy with just the Rebel 2500.
Agreed, at least then you would have a front locker.
I'm happy with my power wagon.
Drove one at a Kentucky RAM dealership a few months ago. 147,000.00. Even had custom paint by AEV. Fun truck to drive.

@@pchappy2.0 If I had enough stupid money laying around I'd have tried for it.
Roman @ TFL, said just yesterday, “it once was 35’s, then it was 37’s; next we’ll have 39’s” haha. I guess he was right! Love ya, Benny boy

Really. ?
Um no lockers is a loss. Go gmc
Wow, that truck is really too expensive
Wow that is a great looking truck that kicks you straight in the ding a ling with the price.
Ok so they're trying to sell a $100k plus truck and it doesn't have at least digital dash and a bigger infotainment. I will say it looks bullet proof.
Saw one of these just yesterday at a dealership, it’s a recalled truck though. But damn nice truck.
2022 Ram 2500HD Heavy-Duty Laramie AEV Prospector XL 6.7L Cummins Turbo Diesel Night Edition Crew Cab 4X4!

Needs panoramic sunroof and the big infotainment screen to make it ok to pay $113k. More horsepower?
I would just get the PW and some tires and cll it a day. Or a PW with Carli dominator kit and call it a day.
That’s a damn nice truck
Beast of a truck but again with these prices OMG...its no longer for blue collar people. So sad.
So can you tell us about fuel effisiency^ how much for mpg?
I’ll just get the HAVOC with extra left. 🙏🙏
Me too
Something counterintuitive about paying that much for a vehicle and then taking it off road. Just saying.
Which do you prefer between this and the power wagon?
You’re not going very far off road in this thing.
Truck prices are absolutely insane!! For the average working class guy that would use this to hunt, surf fish, camp etc…it’s just way out of reach!
Too $$$ for my liking but still looks amazing.
lol looking on ksl these things sit and sit, absolutely ridiculous prices
Sure....I'll take 2 for company trucks.....no problem.....😆
For the Canadians, it has about a million centimeters of ground clearance, aye
Lol
Eh*
Such a nice truck. It’s expensive but will last forever.
The 68rfe trans will not last forever!!
@@stevenpeterson7234 No but I see people getting 300-400k out of it
@@selfcarefordudes
The Asin trans that's in the 3500 will last forever tho. 300k-400k is good but not great
No maybe 5 years tops.

Toyotas last forever. What transmissions do they have? They have Aisins!!
I own one of these in my dreams…
I think the Ford Tremor is a much better choice

Why doesn't anybody reviewing these XL Prospectors show the freakin payload?
Cool toy, but crazy price
i love dis cars
😍🤩
This supposed to be the real TRX with hellephant engine
what gears ? does it have lockers ? quick disconnect sway bar ?
It's so sad what they do to trucks now. When I was young you used a truck for work. You just wanted a basic truck that you could beat up.
How is this sad , they sell a v6 single cab for you if you want it

Not a fan of the 6 seating arrangement
Too much for what you get with this truck or should I say Don’t Get! I’ll keep my 2022 Power Wagon and be just fine.
OMG, I want that truck!!!
Its a nice truck and all but 113k is house money so no thanks.

$113K for a lifted truck. Hard pass
I will never buy one and I’m currently on my 4th cummins. It’s just a waste of money
Look ma, a pick-up truck that costs as much as a Mercedes Benz S-Class luxury sedan. Absurd.
🎉🎉🎉👍💖👍🎉🎉🎉
Why would anyone buy this
Because they can! One of the best factory built over landing vehicles built. Your opinion may (will) vary.
@@Ghostrider304 for $113k though? There’s better options for the money.
