Finally a concept truck that doesn’t look like a space ship, it’s actually functional, I’d love one, unfortunately it’s going to cost way too much sadly.
They killed it with this truck! They definitely need to release a prospector xl for the Chevy and GMC trucks. Beautiful!
I could see this working as a ranch truck really well
Sure, though a standard pickup with a stake bed would probably suffice for most uses even on a ranch. Nice to have the extra capability when the going gets tough but I’d think that ranchers have tractors or other equipment which fills those roles already.
@@ALMX5DP yah, you're probably right about that, but this could be for the big boss who has to drive hundreds of miles between fields. like on those massive ranches in Montana and Wyoming.
Need that for the farm
I wonder if they sell ranches too!
Not just ranch, many trade's men and contractor will love it as a work truck. They should make options for the bed cover, including cap and soft topper.
This is LITERALLY my dream truck. Almost every detail
Same!! As much as I love Regular cab trucks, I've had multiple of them; this in a crewcab would be the ultimate family Adventure Vehicle/Tow rig!!
I want one now!
This will be a perfect worked truck, I want one. Too bad that is very scary to buy right now, especially with the interest rates, and prices on this vehicles are too high and dealer’s stupid M-ups.
I love Australian style tray beds. This truck would be absolutely amazing and a dream truck of mine but I'm sure it would come out with a 100,000+ price tag.
+8% APR.....
Sadly, pretty much every cool thing I want has a 100,000+ price tag.
Those extended fender flares needs to go into production along with that front bumper brush gaurd.
They should have been added to the Silverado ZR2 as a wide body kit like the Raptor and TRX
These are the off road trucks they need to offer, not crew cabs only
Regular cabs are like manuals, everyone says they should keep them but then they sit on dealer lots for 6+ months ‘cause nobody buys them.
@@khakiswag I've owned 8 regular cabs so far
More choice is needed!
@@fzj8022 Regular cabs are just not as popular, and most regular cabs are basic work trucks, but everyone loves a lifted single cab.
@@khakiswagthats because normal regular cabs are dumpy, stripped down and basically make you look like a cut rate landscaper. This does none of those things. They could sell 5000 in the first year. Ill buy one for myself and 5 for my fleet with a couple other pieces if the price is right
This is awesome! Gm really should offer this. I can see them putting those fenders into production, finally allowing us to run bigger tires!
Build this with lockers, a gooseneck hitch and easy way to mount tool boxes!
keep it under $80k and I will buy one one right now!!
GM absolutely needs to build these, love the name flashback to the 70’s. AEV is the STUFF!
Nice and cool customized Aev Gmc Sierra 2500HD single cab, I like it Andre!.
I would absolutely love this truck exactly how it is, AND it's a bench seat, holy hell that's awesome!
Love this truck, hope GM puts it in production
I would be curious to see how the CV's hold up in the front on 40's. That exact truck with a solid axle and locker would be perfect. That color is just fantastic.
Love the single cab look. This is a true "work truck". Love it.
The Grande name brings back memories of the Fall Guy truck (of course Lee Majors as Colt Seavers' truck has almost the same type of equipment but with long bed and brown and gold two tone paint though) in the seventies and eighties square body.
This truck would be great on the ranch.. if it was less than 150k
Finally a standard cab truck build, stunning truck.
Love the bumper!!!! AEV please make this
I love the beast!!!❤.reminds me of how Australians do their pick ip trucks.
That's the best looking truck Chevy has made in years
They don't have the balls to build it because they are Government Motors.
there’s a huge market in Australia for aftermarket products (snorkel/airbox, bull bars, fender flares, rear bar, recovery points, etc) to suit the HD Chevy and GMC trucks - GM and AEV should start supplying this market!
Takes time, money, supplies, and employees. It's there, but ya have to pay and wait.
That would blow up the truck market!! Badass rig!
That’s actually badass
Nice! That is a good looking truck AEV!
A great concept truck. I would like to see the tray bed used more, especially on the midsize trucks. Remember, the market is void of affordable options, so don't dress it up....keep it simple and basic.
Sadly that’s not where the money is in their eyes (not just Chevy, this includes all US truck manufacturers)
You are spot on. It's always about the money. Unfortunately, basic supply and demand economics will ultimately prevail and a point of diminishing returns will be reached. Then the auto manufacturers will be chasing money that is not there.@@marv8481
I have been planning to build a tray back on a gmc Sierra regular cab for a while. I’m so impressed that GMC is finally getting it right. I’ve been brand loyal to gmc for many years. But have been disappointed in there products last few years I just sold my 2020 Sierra crew cab and was looking at ford and dodge. But I’ll be first in line if this comes to production. I love it, this truck fits the bill in so many ways. Please do the right thing here GMC management. We need this truck !
Amazing concept! They need to release it.
2nd this motion
The Serra Grande. The truck they send in to rescue the rescue trucks...this vehicle is wild.
The most perfect dream truck I've seen to date)))
Absolutely dig this. GM doesn't offer optional gear ratios anymore- I wonder if this has been re-geared.
Knowing GM, they probably went to 2.75s since they are running 40s.
I could see this truck do well over here in Australia as most of our mid size utes are that design even some of big RAM trucks been sold has flat bed tray with fold down sides.
Love this truck!
Have been truck shopping for a long time. Prices are just nuts. But...this I would be willing to go after. Love the way this looks. Even better than RAM's tray bed regular cab truck. Plus I'd rather have the Duramax too.
Excelent concept. If it goes into production, hopefully, it will be available with a front & rear locking deferential
I love this bed! I think trucks should have an option for a bed like this!
Can’t wait to watch this! Have a Blessed Day!
Thank you for watching!
So glad to see this! Looks awesome.
The most perfect dream truck I've seen to date.
Yes please!!!!! ❤
LOVE THIS TRUCK
They brought back an old nameplate, the Sierra Grande was the top trim before the Sierra Classic came to be in the late 70s
Finally a work truck that can be used and worth what you paid for
Love it. Would definitely consider one in the future if it was an option
Bad ass truck, hands-down this would be the perfect work truck…
Absolutely love this truck!
Love it. Perfect setup for habitat camper slide on
This concept needs to be in production.
I’m loving what I see here! Nicely done GMC!👏👏👌😎👍
Just loving it. ❤️
Love it! Great concept.
awesome truck. Front camera needs to rotate around and under that push bar a bit though. Any front "pushing" on that bull bar and the camera is toast!
This truck has a lot of similar modifications that people do aftermarket to trucks in the mountain west. If it could be a four door long bed it would be near perfect for what I use my current truck for.
Not here in CO. Haven't seen a tray, but there is a company here that does it and it's $$$
Now this would be a fun farm truck. Solid concept that hopefully becomes a reality.
Can’t wait to see this coming to the market 😍
They need to produce single cabs with short beds that have v-8’s. For Offroad use.
Can't wait to drive this through my suburban neighborhood
that whole truck is so sick.
That single cab GMC truck is sweet! I want one.
When they put 40s, 4 doors and complete with Ram and Ford in the 700HP range I'll be excited. Until they get the HP numbers up I'm only looking at the Ram TRX and the Raptor R.
Now that's a truck. ...wow, so cool. Would love that.
Would love to have this truck
this is freaking awesome.
GM needs to offer a truck like this. Even if it started off as a regular cab longbed just give it the AT4X treatment!
Badass!!! Impressive
Awesome concept truck. Load my 2 fishing kayaks on the back and to the river we go.
Really Like the integrated Camera in the front push bar. Now only if they Canopy companies can come up with something similar to replace the rearview mirror camera.
If it comes to Canada, I'm getting one!
I want that bumper on my gmc 3500 that brush guard looks awesome
Love it!
That is 1 beautiful truck.🙂
What a beauty i wish it makes into production exactly as it is.
Great video Andre. Amazing concept hopefully it makes it to production and doesn’t cost above $60,000 but I’m sure it will
Yeah a fairly basic regular cab HD is already like $55k so guaranteed this will add at least $15-25k depending on which options you select.
I’d say closer to $85k MSRP… add dealer gouging and robbery, $100k+.
$100 grand minimum 😂
Id buy 6 of these before the end of the year if they were under $80k and came with a gooseneck accommodation
It has a diesel, it's gonna be well over 60k....a WT with a diesel is 60k
Park ranger, ranchers, farmers, and solo overlanders would love this thing. If they come out with it I might trade in my Colorado to buy it.
That’s a very unique idea. 👍🏽👌🏽
This is an awesome truck!
awesome, love it!
Sign me up!!!, Though I own a crew cab Silverado Trail Boss, I prefer standard cab pickups, but the standard cab short bed pickups they offer are strictly work truck models, I need this truck.
Take all the cool offroad shit and put it on a base model and im sold
That's what this is. They started out with an SLE RCLB 2500hd. They added the OEM Sierra HDX steering/suspension to beef it up. With those fender flares, you could probably still clear 37's without the HDX suspension stuff, as long as you have proper offset wheel.
looks good!
That truck is bad ass, I want one for my hunting lodge now!!!
Love the truck but my needs are simple. I would be happy any if GM, Ford, Toyota or Stelantis would simply offer a standard cab short (6') bed in their higher trim levels.
Looks awesome!
Yes, yes, yes. Love the AEV edition!
Great truck, I hope they make it!
This is a real truck! I would rather have this truck vs the new AT4X HD AEV.
Very cool!!!
I work and run my family cattle ranch here in Ohio and this would be fantastic to have. This truck would be just as amazing to have over the current AT4X AEV in my opinion.
I actually called AEV(they were great to talk to and super nice) to discuss this truck, a build and the parts with me being so close to the company. Unfortunately they're not building any custom individual GM HD(2500-3500) trucks(as in if I were to buy a new one and send it to them) as of this time and they didn't speculate about the future, and we all know that as of right now they are not building this Sierra Grande model. I of course asked about the parts and they're still looking at selling them in 2024. With one unfortunate thing, they don't have plans on selling this GM front bumper aftermarket due to difficulty of mounting and other modification needed, and I can understand that.
My conundrum is if I should just buy a truck and buy the parts when they release them(all except the front bumper), buy a truck and hope they'll start building custom GM HD vehicles for customers and send them my truck some day for a build, or just go another route all together. Any thoughts?
The cost will be mucho grande
@Official_fast_lane_truck417and touch faith
Amazing concept I would buy one!!
😮 beautiful truck
Oh hell yes. That is sick
I love this truck, reminds me of my truck. I have a 2019 F350 4x4 Standard cab Dually. The only thing with mine is it's really stiff in the bush. It rides best when I throw a 3500 lbs camper in the back as it has a 7100 lbs payload. Cheers from Canada.
I did see a single cab newer 4x4 Chevy truck last week, but they are very very rare, a lot of people like single cab trucks, but they don’t look right cause they are so big nowadays, except for this truck, it looks awesome!
Pretty badass!
Looks great ! Needs a gooseneck hidden ball .
Thats badass looking truck and totally should be an option on the at4 or at4x truck
I just want to know when that snorkel will be available to install on my 2021 2500HD!!!
Best truck. For sure do it
Absolute fire 🔥
Finally a GM aev, and a single cab no less. Once i can afford one id like to get one. But i really need them to start making parts for older trucks like the cateye duramax that i have right now.
