It feels so good to see someone fuck up an awkward handshake but it's even better when they have the confidence to do it on purpose. God bless Troy Sanders
Nick because life on the road isn't easy. Being away from family months on end. Living in buses and staying hotels all the time. Playing shows where you completely gas yourself on the regular. The ones that are pampered are because theyve made it.
Touring IS tough! They don't just play shows. Think about being crammed in a tour bus with several other people, constantly in each other's personal space for months on end. Everybody is on different sleep schedules, some party, some don't. Privacy is essentially non-existant. Travel can be days on end by bus, van and/or plane. When they arrive in cities often times they do meet and greets at music stores etc and drop in at radio stations to talk about upcoming shows or maybe do a performance or two. Then when they perform on stage they give it their all. On stage the lights get hot as fuck, its like being in a sauna, you're sweating your ass off. In between all that they have to maintain food, rehydration and rest to keep up the pace day to day.
Martín Konka they probably wouldn't even get past the "This is Wikipedia fact or fiction with Brent hinds of Mastodon ", dude is hilarious but he changes subject every other word.
I'm so glad Bill finally debunked that rumour of him singing lead on Deathbound. It doesn't even sound like him, I don't know why people started spreading that.
FINALLY the whole Deathbound thing with bill singing has been debunked, it's so blatantly obvious that it's Troy and not bill doing lead vocals, drives me mad haha
I know right? All these years I've been listening to that song with different headphones or speakers and I would never make out Bill's voice in there. The chorus has different layers of Troy and (I think) Brent screaming, it would drive me nuts.
I was at the Mastodon show in Belfast. Great show. Fiend Without a Face opened up. So they were on stage for like 5 fkn hours. It was awesome. I met the whole band. The crazy shit is 12 years before that My buddy's band had a gig in Chicago at the Double Door and Mastodon opened up for them. I met them all there too, they were selling all there merch and shit and I got talking to Bran for like an hour. I had no idea who they were I asked my buddy and he said it was some classic rock band from Atlanta. LOL Crazy how shot goes down after all the years later.
The "Deathbound" statement was probably made due to Brann being asked about the song during his AMA on Reddit. When asked if it was Bill that did the lead vocals for that song, he replied with something along the lines of "Possibly".
Hey everyone! 'Wikipedia: Fact or Fiction?' will be taking a break as we film new episodes. Thanks so much for watching (especially you, notification crew). I appreciate the hell out of you all. See you soon! - Graham \m/
"Monomythical" doesn't refer to "single myth". It refers to a quest (often cyclical journey) undertaken by a mythical hero. It's like an archetype of an epic journey. You know, kinda like Blood Mountain's search of the Crystal Skull, so it does make sense.
Wait. I know Call of the Mastodon is basically a combination of Lifesblood and Slick Leg, but it's a combination of songs from past bands whose members are now in a band together? That's neat! I need to listen to the older versions.
Lifesblood kicks fucking face. I had it pre-ordered based solely on Bill and Bran's performance on "in the eyes of god"(which kicks ass). I was not disappointed.
Bill should do some vocals on a record. The backing vocals he does on Blood and Thunder live are terrifying in an awesome way.
He does a lot of the growled vocals, but they're usually for a line or two at most. I agree, he really does need more vocal time.
He does the lead Vocals on Deathbound I believe
I mean Bill's the only one not to, so why not?
@@HeathenMetalhead221 nope, he debunked it in the video.
@@HeathenMetalhead221 watch the video and comment....!!
It feels so good to see someone fuck up an awkward handshake but it's even better when they have the confidence to do it on purpose. God bless Troy Sanders
Bill looks like he could be a general in the Prussian army.
Not just Prussian, any army
Troy needs to start narrating. His voice if fucking great
Nick maintaining health is pretty hard. Being sick during touring has to be shit.
Nick because life on the road isn't easy. Being away from family months on end. Living in buses and staying hotels all the time. Playing shows where you completely gas yourself on the regular. The ones that are pampered are because theyve made it.

little do you know about touring...
Touring?? gigs, smelly bandmates, smelly bus, breakdowns, bus and emotional, girls, girls girls, crappy bus, girls, drugs, girls, gigs, gigs , boredom, boredom, etc.
I would love to see fact ir fiction of Brent Hinds!!!
Martín Konka they probably wouldn't even get past the "This is Wikipedia fact or fiction with Brent hinds of Mastodon ", dude is hilarious but he changes subject every other word.
Martín Konka Yeah, I wanna see if he really fought with shavo
He is always high hahaha
@Daniel McConnell he probably would made up a lot of insane shit, but in a funny delirious way XD

I'm so glad Bill finally debunked that rumour of him singing lead on Deathbound. It doesn't even sound like him, I don't know why people started spreading that.

Holy shit more Mastodon!
FINALLY the whole Deathbound thing with bill singing has been debunked, it's so blatantly obvious that it's Troy and not bill doing lead vocals, drives me mad haha
John Azopardi right?
I know right? All these years I've been listening to that song with different headphones or speakers and I would never make out Bill's voice in there. The chorus has different layers of Troy and (I think) Brent screaming, it would drive me nuts.
John Azopardi I have always thought the same thing! "That's not Bill!"

Bill is the man
THANK YOU FOR THE MASTODON LOUDWIRE. WE APPRECIATE IT.
Glad to see Graham back!
The "Deathbound" statement was probably made due to Brann being asked about the song during his AMA on Reddit. When asked if it was Bill that did the lead vocals for that song, he replied with something along the lines of "Possibly".
Troy's voice is so calming
OMG 😍 He's such a great guy and a tallented musician! How can someone don't love him? HAHA
Hey everyone! 'Wikipedia: Fact or Fiction?' will be taking a break as we film new episodes. Thanks so much for watching (especially you, notification crew). I appreciate the hell out of you all. See you soon! - Graham \m/

Holly shit,I been waiting for this one!
Now get Brann and Brent on here.
Kvng Christian I don't even think Brent could make it to the studio.
Haha! Brent is possibly the least credible historian of Brent.
I love just
"AY TROY COME OVER HERE"
"got some coffee and beer for you". Love the friendly mood, Graham seems like a really nice kid
Hearing him say Rochester makes me very happy!
"Monomythical" doesn't refer to "single myth". It refers to a quest (often cyclical journey) undertaken by a mythical hero. It's like an archetype of an epic journey. You know, kinda like Blood Mountain's search of the Crystal Skull, so it does make sense.
Holy shit! Had no idea Bill was from my neighborhood! Too cool
Love listening to Bill. Great guy!
5:20 I literally fucking watched this part like 800 times now and can’t stop fucking laughing
Just found out Bill is from the Rochester area. Only an hour away from me. In between him and Every Time I Die's hometown.
Bill will always be on my fav people list!!!!! Along with Devin Townsend, Brent Hinds, Rob Chapman, John 5 etc etc etc
If heavy devy and mastadon did a colab that would be epic of biblical proportions!

OMFG the awkward handshake, no wonder this was cut at an unedited 10 minutes with out a 2nd part. Troy and mythical creatures. Such as the *Troll* LOL

He sounds like he looks. This is a good thing :) seems like such a nice dude
Let's get one with Brann too!
Lifesblood kicks fucking face. I had it pre-ordered based solely on Bill and Bran's performance on "in the eyes of god"(which kicks ass). I was not disappointed.
