Reporters like this " the economy is doing better". You just had the price of everything go up 20-40% and wages didnt move anything close to that. Thats the economy that affects most Americans, and the fact that inflation has slowed means nothing. Prices need to go DOWN around 15 %. Then Americans will feel better.

Both of these candidates should signal to Americans that the writing is on the wall, the end of an era, and things will continue to spiral down hill as the war drums continue to beat. And yes, Nikki Haley is very possibly headed to the Republican nomination.

Hearing you say that about housing, I really feel like you understand, omg. That's some comfort, sorry.
How do they do running against Marianne? There's no need for hypotheticals, she's a candidate.

I greatly admire Dr. Frank Luntz, and respect his care with the words he uses. So for him to use the word "apparatchak", with all the meaning and history the word brings, in referencing the leadership of the Democratic and Republican parties is striking. It also tells me the depth to which the leaders of the parties are not listening to all American voters, as opposed to the "base" in each party.

I agree with about 80-90% of what Frank said. I know I am making more money than I ever have b4. My company raised us up to start at $16.50 from $12. That was two years ago.
I'm now in my mid-thirties and I know I'm behind on my savings because I didn't do so in my twenties. I'm living with family, but it's still hard to pay my share of the rent, which is not that much. My car payment is relatively inexpensive especially when compared to a new purchase. All-in-all I've cancelled most of my subscriptions, I try to spend less on my food, I try this and I try that. I know that none of these things have to do with the President.
However, I am a bit politically inclined and so I know that the super rich don't pay their fair share in taxes. That's partially because Congress is bought off, partially because a good chunk of them are rich themselves, and partially because they are out of touch with us.
They passed the law a law to reduced the cost of drugs. But, only ten of them. And, it will take effect in like 5 years. I believe there are over 1,000 approved drugs in the USA. So, ten is nothing. By that time, half of the drugs they're reducing will be able to be generically produced.
Biden is a Business As Usual candidate and that's irks me the most.

Two things will happen... Just like in 2020 where we as Republicans (I was a delegate in GA in 2012 for the Republicans for Ron Paul) were told Joe was senile, weak and confused.... Then he came out in the first debate and because the expectations were so low, he surprised us all. He didn't come off as weak. He looked directly in the camera MULTIPLE times and spoke directly to the people. And when Trump attacked his son, Joe corrected him and said "That's not True" but when he attacked Trump on policies and failures, Trump didn't say it wasn't true.. he just deflected. (I recently rewatched the 2020 debates) So.. That said people vote with their wallets... they vote based on how they feel the economy is doing. And for Joe this is excellent news because while right this minute with inflation being high, it doesn't seem great.. It's getting BETTER... every day. Yesterday the stock market hit an all time high. Consumer confidence is UP... gas prices are down. Soon, Joe will be able to run ON his record and not from it. That's huge. And I'm no fan of Biden.. I didn't vote for him or Trump.. I voted LP both times. First for Gary and then for Jo Jorgensen so I have no horse in this race but I lean Republican.

I respect Frank, but I think our country needs a strong President, the geopolitical instability, China, illegal immigration, and the list goes on can't fixed by a weak president. This is why I will vote for Trump in 2024!
