Frank, I don't know if you're intentionally missing the obvious reasons for the change of Biden's behavior from the debate and the next day. By the look of his complexion, his speech pattern, and the rate of his eye blinks, he was definitely enhanced the next day. Plus, he read strictly from a teleprompter with no ad libs. If you don't believe me watch the SoU again and count the blinks per minute and go to ANY speech he has where he's not coherent and do the same. Not just when he's struggling but when he's not.
