- Today we've made an incredible discovery. We're comparing the Cooke Panchro Classics alongside the popular Sigma Art Lenses on the Blackmagic URSA Mini G2. Camera settings were matched for all shots.
Based on our findings, it seems that the Cooke Panchros have a more pleasant highlight roll-off compared to the Sigma's.

This was awesome! Love this style of video. The Cooke’s had this softer look to them, the sigmas feel crunchy to look at but for the price ya can’t beat them

Absolutely lovely as usual! Loved the narration! Honestly from watching the video here, on my iPhone, could not tell much difference, I tought at one point the Cooke rendered the greens more vibrant but I then I realized maybe was because of individual shots and more shade areas shot. I could not noticed the difference in roll-off 🥹

It's more noticeable on a large display, but both lenses look fantastic. We thought we would do a comparison and have fun with it. I'm glad you're enjoying the content, try our best to keep it up :)
I've been watching it on my mbp 15 retina and I wonder whether sigma lenses weren't broken lol! Cookes have so much more detail and micro contrast! Sigma shots look mushy in comparison. Awesome work guys

Brilliant 👊 soo well done, a lens comparison that I could stay awake through. I would be interested to see how similar the look is when using a pro mist type filter on the sigma to soften it a bit (cheap UV filter with very light dusting of black spray paint works perfect).
The pro mist filter on the Sigma lenses look great! Blooms the highlights and softens it nicely. Thanks for the love.
