Thanks for watching! Check out the test footage here: syrplab.com/global/education/what-is-a-cine-lens/
What draws me into your channel are the simple yet effective animations. I'm a sucker for those. Regarding this video, I appreciate you all showing the different looks of each 50mm. It's more of an apples to apples to comparison regarding the look.
Glad you enjoy them!
Great Video! But one thing you didn't mention with the EF Lens is that it sharpens a lot if you just stop it down to F2 or F2.8. You still have a pretty shallow DOF but a much crispier image.
Came here from an insta ad and I am certainly impressed by the quality of this video for your channel size, great stuff!
always top notch videos. mad quality and value
Thanks so much Lorenzo!
Actually god tier production value. Keep it up and don't burn yourselves out!
It is crazy how much work flows into your videos! 💪🏻Much respect and thank you!
Thank you for watching! 😄

Such a great video! I was hooked from start to finish and the production quality is simply clean to the T! New sub for sure great work!
Thanks so much Sean!
great video and explanation! also that was a clean switch heel, fish eye definitely looks sick for skating
You make awesome videos. Well done syrp lab!
This was awesome and I learned a lot, thank you!!
Glad it was useful :D
Awesome video. Seriously great all around. I knew all this info already and yet I still stayed engaged right to the very end. Production from you channel is on point! New sub, keep it up!! p.s. that talk at the basketball court (6:25) looked too good, if you hadn't walked in with the wide shot and run back for the flashlight "bokeh" bit I would've guessed green screen.
Hey Paul & Spencer! Stoked you enjoyed it and welcome aboard :D
That basketball court was too too good - we really lucked out with a gorgeous summer evening
Just came here from instagram. Great quality video!!
Thanks Jade! Glad you enjoyed it
Amazing work! Thanks
Thanks Ricard!

and yesss this is fucking interesting . 🙃
wow! Big anamorphic shooter. Never really have the interest in renting higher end spherical. Always wanted to see if there was a difference in look between them. Blown away with how much of a look the Arri provided. Love it😊
Truly! I've been trying to convince the team to let me hire them for every shoot in the future... no luck so far 😭
This is great! Thank you
Glad you enjoyed it Ektor! 🔥
Very impressive content 👏
Very interesting, thanks
Glad you enjoyed it!
Amazing channel
A key factor in cine lenses is that the look is consistent from each focal length lens in the set. This was obviously a greater concern when shooting on film but is still a huge feature for cine lenses.
Where is the footage ? I can’t find it in the link provided
Sorry Daniel! Link is updated here: syrplab.com/global/education/what-is-a-cine-lens/
Thannkkkkkkkkkksssssssssssssss
goated
I can't live without autofocus
Just create a new channel man idk the reason but surely RUclips is limiting your views, i mean what's the issue? Why doesn't this video have millions of views!!!
So glad you're enjoying the episodes Aditya - we're always appreciative of everyone who watches and shares
So, in other words, focus on the story, not the gear.
Obviously great pacing and graphics. But you barely show any of the sample footage comparing the lenses, plus lenses perform different depending on the aperture.
I don’t really get what your going for…You’re teaching basics much of the time that is preaching to the choir to anyone with experience, but if you do have a viewer that is a beginner- you’re blasting them with way to much information at once. Each chapter probably could have been a video within itself.
