People are surprised about the battery. I think pixel holds better because it preservers battery on stand by mode more efficiently, not the whole time use.
Every other review I’ve seen says the battery life on pixel 7pro isn’t that much different than the pixel 6 pro and it wasn’t good but your results show a massive difference
I am anxiously waiting on my 7 Pro to arrive so I am a little biased but I would vote for the Pixel, mainly because the color tones especially on colored skin is so much better. It seems the Pixel has closed the gap on videos which is great!

Potrait mode with the Tensor chip is not a good combination. Pixel phones until P5 with Snapdragon took great potraits. I have both P6 & P5 & I sense something not right in my potrait images with my P6. Thought it's gonna be better with P7 but nahh!
Actually they didn't over sell unblur. They never demonstrated a blurry photo as extreme as your hand photo 😂. Of course it will be limitations. Awesome video my guy!
Yeah you cant just take an entire photo thats out of focus and make it perfect. But it is very good if you say accidentally move the camera a little right before you take the shot and it's slightly blurry.

Pixel 6 pro had exact same issue with portrait mode and google couldn’t fix it with all the software updates so I really doubt this will get fixed. I use portrait mode and 2x/3x all the time and the decision of lens choices here is kind of deal breaker cz 2x/3x quality is average and portrait mode is as worse as it can get.
@@ammymike7 I've just got my Pixel 7 and taking a photo with the main camera and then applying a blur through Google photos seems to give me a much better natural result compared to the portrait mode itself. Think I'll be using it this way going forward for portrait shots.

You didn't talk about the screen brightness, that's why the battery on Iphone was draining faster,the rest of youtoubers reported an average battery life on Pixel..

using IPhoneX and updated to iOS16.1 The battery is much worse now... am contemplating getting a new smartphone but wowh as a first timer I find the information overwhelming...
hard to tell, the videos and some of the portrait photos are better on the iphone. on the other hand some of the pixel pictures and the selfie camera looked better I thing they are both great phones but you have to consider the pixel is at least 1/3 cheaper than the iphone and the Pixel has "smarter" features than the iphone. Also If you dont like the Apple ecosystem you have no other choice! For me, i really dont like Apple and to being forced how to do simply things like they want to. I am glad that the Pixel comes near to the Iphone in terms of Picture and Video Quality. But i hoped the Pixel would be a bit better than the iphone. I hope some software updates improve the Video and Picture Quality a bit more. That would make me happy because ive ordered the Pixel already :) and because of the preorder i get the pixel watch that is worth arround 400 bucks for free.. so the Pixel phone is a no brainer if you consider Value for money! so i just paid like 500 bucks for the phone instead of 1400 for the iphone 🤷♂
