  • The interior part of the build has started!
Well….. at least in this video it has… ok ok we know we are behind on videos but we are doing a little rewind and wanted to show you how we built our subfloor!
After months of making sure our bus had good bones and finishing the exterior portion of the bus, we finally were able to start to lay the frame work for the “home” part of the build.

I would not use that port on the tank for your diesel heater. Order yourself a diesel heater that comes with one and drill a hole and tap it into the tank. Then put the line in the tank to get how much you need to cut off the sending unit for the heater. Only add 3 inches to the measurement so that you don't hit the bottom of the tank. So it's going to be sitting in the tank 3 inches off the bottom. The reason why you don't want it to sit on the bottom of the tank and why you don't want to use the existing open line is because you don't want to run your bus out of fuel and not able to start your bus while boondocking.
