I am back in Shanghai, China. Just for a 1 day layover though, but I am still happy to be back in Shanghai, a very interesting mega city in China. I've been here already last year and stayed for a few days back then, so I already know I like the city. Maybe you already saw my Shanghai videos from last year. Since I am only here for a layover, I wanted to stay at a hotel near the Shanghai Pudong airport. I was looking for a Shanghai aiport hotel when I found this hotel that had a room called Secret Cave Room. It sounded so interested and the pictures looked amazing that I decided to book this room for my layover in Shanghai, China. Do you think it's worth $250 per night?

China has made a lot of changes to make foreigners experience smoother since your last visit. You can purchase a short-term SIM card at airport that gives you both local phone # and data plan. Very affordable (depending on how long is your stay).

I follow many China travel bloggers on RUclips, and among them, I really like you. Given the obvious barriers between China and other countries, I'm very curious about how we are perceived from outside China. Since childhood, we were taught to be loving, kind, peaceful, and friendly. So, before I set foot on foreign land, I always believed that Chinese people were seen as hardworking, brave, and peace-loving. But evidently, my experiences have overturned this belief. I was very confused at the time about why others thought I came from a poor and greedy country.
China is a country with thousands of years of culture and has been rebuilt from the ruins of war. We have indeed experienced very poor times, but we have also achieved rapid development through hard work in just a few decades. While there are certainly some areas where we have not done well, we are definitely not an evil country. So, I am very grateful to those who have come to China and broken many lies.
I really like your style because you don't come with many preconceived notions, and your feelings come from your own experiences. Your understanding of your destinations makes me feel that you genuinely want to experience the culture. Many bloggers just go to popular destinations that attract views on RUclips without prior knowledge of the place. After all, China is vast, and every place has different dietary habits, customs, and cultural traditions. By the way, Xinjiang is very beautiful this season. I hope your journey in China will become a wonderful memory

Actually this maybe a couple themed hotel ,the cave room maybe means 洞房 in Chinese, which means bridal chamber in English

I found that many foreigners eat Lanzhou Ramen when they come to China. In fact, you can see Lanzhou Ramen, Shaxian snacks and braised chicken and rice almost anywhere in China. Of course, now there is Mixue Bingcheng.
But the local Lanzhou Ramen in Lanzhou doesn’t taste the same as the ones across the country. Isn't it amazing?
@@summerain6918 Because it is said that Lanzhou ramen was not invented by Lanzhou people, but by a Qinghai person. Lanzhou locals sneered at Lanzhou ramen. Lanzhou only has Lanzhou beef noodles, not Lanzhou ramen.

The exchange rate between the Mop (Macanese pataca) and the Hong Kong dollar (HKD) is tied to the US dollar (USD), so it is definitely not a 1:1 rate with the Chinese yuan (CNY).
