Beijing is the political center, Shanghai is the financial center, Shenzhen is the technology center, and Guangzhou is the trade center. Beijing is the political center, so it gives people a more solemn feeling. Shanghai has a faster pace of life, and Guangzhou gives people a feeling of being closer to life (probably related to the living habits of Guangdong people, who are more easy-going). If you have time, you can go to Shenzhen to have a look. Shenzhen has a sense of the future. Great vlog guys!! Trust us when we say that once you figure out how things work in china and get used to it, you will find travelling within china super easy. Most services are standardized not only within the cities, but also almost everywhere else. Things like using the subway in guangzhou is exactly the same as in beijing or shanghai or shenzhen. You just need to figure it out.

China ticks a lot of boxes in countries that should be huge tourist destinations. Long and interesting history, good food culture, diverse landscape, excellent public transport system, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera. I guess the thing that puts most people off, is the perceived challenges of travelling in the country, outside of the normal language barrier.
@@pengchang9981 I think you may have miss understood my phrasing. "outside of the normal language barrier." means issues outside of not knowing Chinese, issues like being able to pay for things. In most countries, you can simply go to a ATM, get out money and pay in cash or you can use your card to pay for things. China has its own system. A lot of the basics seem harder to do, China takes planning and time which puts people off from visiting.
In Guangzhou, you must try the local steamed vermicelli roll, which is a local specialty. And go to the teahouse to have some snacks!! This will make the trip to Guangzhou more perfect!!❤❤
1:41 FYI, there is an airline security on every domestic (maybe international too) flight in China. Usually someone retired from military or police forces. Security is there just in case there’s anything flight attendants can’t handle, they’re not there to supervise on foreigners 😂 I actually saw flight crew joking about security fellows as “on board mobile cameras”😅
Hello! Welcome to Guangzhou, China. When you come to Guangzhou, be sure to eat Guangzhou morning tea. Guangzhou's morning tea culture is very famous, and morning tea cakes and snacks are also very delicious 😋
Next to the soup is the famous Guangzhou vermicelli, which includes beef vermicelli, lean meat vermicelli, egg vermicelli, which are made by grinding rice into powder. They are very nutritious, delicious, and healthy.
The brains behind the whole operation has a channel himself, how did I not know! I have been to Wuhan and Zhengzhou, loved both. Wuhan is a very enjoyable city on the Yangtze river and is bloody massive, Zhengzhou is a small livable city, not as fun as Wuhan and considered small by Chinese standards. They do have the shaolin temple mind. Do yourself a solid, and follow Little Chinese Everywhere and you will have no issues about knowing where to go, the most genuine and best Chinese youtube channel going by a mile.

It depends on how you describe good weather, the weather in Southern China is mostly humid hot, if that’s okay, I think it could be ‘good weather’. Northern China is much drier, colder but there are also more sunny days.
Singapore for a long time has been 15 days visa free with China until covid hit. But back then it was just unilateral arrangement. Chinese nationals still had to apply visa coming into Singapore. But some time after covid, Singapore had a perm bilateral agreement with China on a 30day visa-free, meaning this time applies to both nations. The visa-free with some European countries is only temp until end of this year, subject to review perhaps.
As a native of Guangdong, I would like to offer a few good suggestions 1. Qingyuan rafting in summer is a unique experience (4A-level scenic spot, known as the king of rafting, you need to plan the travel route) 2. Cantonese tea-breakfast, Shunde cuisine, Chaoshan beef hot pot (the restaurants ranked high on Dianping-App are very reliable) 3. You can come to Shenzhen Happy Coast to play, where there is the largest DJI flagship store
You arrived at terminal 1 so it's a bit long way to walk to p2 car park. The tunnel you walked through is called "sky & sea" to represent Guangzhou's position as a port. Another tunnel is called "tunnel of time" if you arrived at the other section of terminal A. Terminal 2 of Baiyun International Airport is better than 1. 5 mins walk to metro or taxi car park.

As someone lived in Macau from 10-24 years of age! My theories of Canton feel more international is : 1. It was only part of China Trade with the West when China was practically a closed nation the last Dynasty or other less closed off Dynasty, may be Tong or Ming Dynasties (guessing) 2. Of most of Chinese emigrate to the West before China opened up were Southern Chinese were from South East Asia, Hong Kong or Macau who's ancestry was from that regin many still had family tie from their homeland, thu they're less isolated like inland Chinese! Just my thought!
In fact, the most closed dynasty in ancient China was the Qing Dynasty, followed by the Ming Dynasty, because both dynasties had laws prohibiting maritime trade, and the Qing Dynasty's laws were the strictest. The Ming Dynasty allowed some trade, but private maritime trade was not allowed. Earlier dynasties were more open, such as the Song Dynasty. The Song Dynasty was the best dynasty in ancient China's economy, with very developed trade (it is said that the Song Dynasty's economy accounted for 50%-70% of the world's economy), and even had maritime trade with Southeast Asia. The earlier Han Dynasty and Tang Dynasty were also very open. Much of Japan's culture was inherited from the Tang Dynasty, while Vietnam's culture was more inherited from the Han Dynasty. In fact, most of the Chinese in Southeast Asia came from the Song Dynasty. After the Song Dynasty was defeated by the Yuan Dynasty, many people fled to Southeast Asia. At that time, they also established a country in Southeast Asia called Luzon, which was established by officials who fled from the Song Dynasty. Some Chinese also immigrated there in modern times.
@@idofdm7625 China's history is quite complicated because there are many dynasties. The records of the recent Qing Dynasty and Ming Dynasty are more detailed. The Ming Dynasty was often harassed by Japanese pirates, so there was a maritime ban law that prohibited private trade. The Qing Dynasty was to consolidate its regime because some remnants of the Ming Dynasty fled overseas and attempted to rebuild the Ming Dynasty. It is normal that overseas Chinese do not know much about this. China's decline in modern times is also due to its isolation.
