    No. Correction: Qin Shi Huang (first emperor of Qin) didn’t bury (live) people in the tomb, those buries along are all terracotta. All clays, soldiers and horses alike. Chinese tourists are not civilized, there are simply too many of them, too crowded. Chinese are nice people, just not all of them quite civilized, it takes time for those uncivilized to get “educated”.

    Unfortunately, some annoyed body contact is sometimes unavoidable in such a crowded, popular museum and public places, it can happen anywhere in the world, not only in China, including in Australia. There is no need to be so cranky and grumbling. Try hard to keep an open mind, adjust yourself to varied circumstances and accept differences in different cultures or countries.

      Nah, the advantage of having travelled all over the world is that I actually can compare it to other countries 👍 And, it’s worse in China than anywhere else. No need to sugar coat it. There are many positive things about China. Respect for others in these scenarios is not one of them.

    Xi’an and Luoyang are both ancient capitals of 13 dynasties, especially the golden ages Han Dynasty (202BC-220AD) and Tang Dynasty (618-907AD). Kaifeng was the ancient capital of the Northern Song Dynasty. Nanjing and Beijing are capitals of the Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties. Guangzhou was the capital of the Nanyue Kingdom (Nam Viet in Vietnamese) that started the 1000 year rule over Vietnam by China, founded by General Zhao Tuo (Trieu Da in Vietnamese) of the Qin Dynasty. Nanyue Kingdom (Nam Viet) gave the name to Viet Nam, by reversing the two characters. Rice noodles fen (fun in Cantonese) was invented at that time during the Baiyue Conquest by General Zhao Tuo, which the Vietnamese call “pho” in Sino-Vietnamese. Xi’an, Luoyang, Nanjing and Beijing are collectively called the Four Great Ancient Capitals of China. Xi’an, Luoyang, Nanjing, Beijing, Hangzhou and Kaifeng are collectively called the Six Great Ancient Capitals of China. Xi’an was also copied back to Japan by the Japanese envoys sent to the Tang Dynasty (Google search for “Japanese missions to imperial China), and became the prototype for Nara and Kyoto, capitals for the Nara Period and Heian Period, contemporary periods of the Chinese Tang Dynasty. Japan, Korea and Vietnam are collectively called the Sinosphere. Japanese culture is a replica of the Tang Dynasty. Korean culture is a replica of the Ming Dynasty (Korea was a Ming Dynasty vassal state; Ming Dynasty founder Zhu Yuanzhang granted the Korean kings the privilege to copy the Ming Dynasty Hanfu, which explains why the Korean traditional dress for men looks so similar to the Ming Dynasty Hanfu). So for authentic “Japanese culture”, visit Xi’an and Luoyang. For authentic “Korean culture”, visit Nanjing and Beijing. Greetings from Los Angeles from a Chinese American 🎉🎉😃❤

    It is said that a person from the future traveled to that era and suggested that Qin Shi Huang use clay to sculpt humans and horses. According to legend, there is a very large meteorite in the Mausoleum of Qin Shihuang. However, there is no date for the excavation of Qin Shihuang's tomb, and it is estimated that it will not be excavated.

    Many Chinese are just rude, especially the older ones. They cut in line, spit everywhere, often play loud music in public places, rarely leave the door open for the person behind them, etc. This doesn't mean they are bad people, it's more of an economic development issue than a cultural issue. 20 years ago China was a country where most people lived in rural areas and couldn't even afford meat. They don't understand the common sense that modern citizens need to follow. If you deal with young people in big cities, you will find that they are much better.

      @@wheres.michael Sorry my bad, just misunderstood you. Nearby is a burial pit where hundreds of human bones were found, but it is not connected to the Terracotta Warriors and Horses pit. It should be the burial site of workers who died of illness and overwork. anyway let me tell you other funny side, In the past, we have heard many rumors about tomb workers being buried alive in different dynasties. Interestingly, archaeologists have never found evidence of residual bones in an imperial tomb.

    即使在公认的文明社会--德国,当DB晚点或者取消时,铁路公司又只开来一辆替代公交,所谓的高素质的旅客们也会摩肩接踵、推搡拥挤着蹭上那辆车。所以对于一个人流量超级大的场合,你所说的也许只是人之常情。 秦始皇陵和兵马俑一直是中国的大热门景点,无论中外游客都会被吸引去一睹近两千三百年前的人类文明与艺术成就。哪怕是之前的美国总统、法国总统、德国总理、澳大利亚总督都要亲自去一饱眼福。在我看来,一个国家本土的文明和艺术能够有成千上万的老百姓前来瞻仰和了解,正是这个国家的文化魅力。 中国各个地方的文化艺术类的古迹与博物馆都是非常热门的旅行目的地,中国人热爱自己国家的文化,和你们一样想要亲眼看一看这些悠久的文明成果。(难道和很多人一起学习不是更有学习的激情吗?哈哈哈) 中国当然也有很多不是那么热门的旅行目的地了,可能对于你在意的人流量方面体验会好一些,但是难得来一次中国当然看就要看最热门的啦!

    Actually the emperor's tomb is located near by in a hill. The Chinese are hesitating to open it up because: 1) from historical documents, the place is highly defended with all kinds of traps. 2) they are afraid of destruction once the place is exposed to the air after over two thousand years of burial.

    • @kaponomaa3415
      @kaponomaa3415 3 дня назад

      Regarding traps, the traps in ancient tombs are all just stories, and the fact is that no archaeologists get hurt by them. Secondly, you are right that the vast majority of current archaeological work is done for the purpose of having to do some salvage excavations because tombs were found to have been stolen, or found during construction. I recommend a professor from Shaanxi Normal University, Yu Gengzhe于庚哲, who has some popular science videos that introduce archaeology and grave robbing.

      I don’t magically get skinnier in other countries lmao. I can and absolutely will compare my experiences. I’ve been to busier sites than the terracotta warriors in India and wasn’t pushed and shoved like that. There is no need to make excuses - it’s not hate. Many great things about China - public behaviour in crowds isn’t one of them.

    Xi'an was the ancient capital of thirteen dynasties. The history of this city is great for the Chinese people. Because the capitals of China's two most glorious dynasties, the Han Dynasty and the Tang Dynasty, were both here, the Chinese people worked hard just to have the opportunity to recreate their own national rejuvenation. Qin Shihuang was the first emperor of China. He ended the 441-year division of the country and finally unified China. During that period, Emperor Zhou divided 400 small vassal states. After moving eastward, his majesty declined, which led to the start of a great melee among these countries, which continued. The war of 441 years brought all countries and people miserable, and finally the Qin State, a once small country, completed the unification. In recent decades, Chinese historians have organized 13 historical seminars on emperors, among which Qin Shi Huang's 12 achievements ranked first.

      He once tried to bury hundreds of thousands of soldiers in order to suppress the foreign princes he conquered in hell after death. Fortunately, someone suggested that it would be better to use clay to make chariots and soldiers, and he accepted it. As a result, the lives of hundreds of thousands of soldiers were saved. This is the origin of the Qin Terracotta Warriors and Horses.
