Terang Bulan / Martabak Manis, they never fail me.
it's called Terang Bulan in most part of the country, but some people also call it Martabak Manis.
even though it's basically just pancake, but unlike other pancake people eat in the western side of the world, I believe the one we have here is packed with waaay more callorie per-bite.
eating too much of the sweet one can give you diabetes and eating the salty one can give you cholesterol.
both are good, but I highly prefer the sweet one. not to mention the salty one can sometimes be more expensive than the sweet one because it can have meat in it and meats are expensive.
You should try Martabak manis pecenongan, it is the famous martbk manis. I think they have many outlets around the city. Their main outlet is from jalan pecenongan, central jakarta, till now.
Telur gulung is the best snack on Street 🥰
It is Terang Bulan or Apem lipat or Kue Bulan.
Just Jakarta and some Sundanese that have missunder that name, because in the past, Martabak seller usually sell that item without name menu.

Once in Bogor, that's around Jakarta, I ate sate and I noticed indonesian people around me giggling... I quickly understood why ! That dish was well hot because of chili...
