Gulai or curry in Indonesia is depends on the maker. Some people love if the broth is thick, and some people love if the broth is soupy/light. It is based on how many coconut milk you use, not the water. So, sometimes foreigner can be confused about Indonesia Curry because it is so different between one and another although it is the same dish. 😅 Basically, gulai/curry in Indonesia has special ingredient which is coconut milk. And, you are right when you say Gultik taste like soupy rendang because rendang is made first as gulai, plus adding shredded coconut, then let the broth gone/dry. And become Rendang.

Liat channel2 orang indo yg tinggal di eropa..menyajikan jus alpukat aj, bule nya kaget ..kok bisa yha alpukat d jus..😅 liat martabak manis mini, kaget juga..palagi dicampur cokelat n keju dalam 1 martabak..kaget lagi... Kasian siyh klo dilihat2..hahahahahah.. Belum pada makan cemilan surabaya..itu tuh...keripik sisik ikan...whaa..pd 😮 kali, yha..
It would be great if you also show some acculturation food. Next time, bring them to Gollamen at Food Society, Plaza Blok M 5th floor. We have fusion food combining from Japanese food, Korean food and Indonesian food such as Katsu matah rice, chicken/beef/salmon spicy Gochujang paste combined with Katokkan Toraja chilli - a carolina reaper version from Indonesia, Katsu with peanut satay sauce abura ramen, and many other things. Our ramen is better eaten in place. Wish you try it with your western friends.

Jasuke (the corn with condensed milk and cheese) is my favorite childhood snack! I still eat it once in a while as an adult. Kinda sad it got such low score. It's literally so good.
gultik -> gulai tikungan... awalnya ada salah satu pedagang yg menjual di tikungan sekitaran blok m, tapi sekarang sudah mulai banyak para pedagang yg jual, namanya juga tetap gultik walau jualannya tidak persis ditikungan 😅

Sir, I want to recommend you, here near my house in Sidoarjo, East Java, there is a delicious Soto Lamongan's outlet. Maybe one day you could come here, i will take you there.
The only guy there a bit bitter at the beginning anyway we hv many different sates not only sate ayam with the peanut sauce so just advice for traveller - explore local cuisine if you have a chance to travel somewhere guys it can be your best experience and of course can support local economy! Enjoy!
