Kuahnya puh sama, dominan pake gula merah/gula putih buat manisnua
Kecuali gado-gado c menurutku, karena bener2 baru kerasa gado2 klo udah dicampur sama sambel kacangnya, klo ga dicampur menurutku rasanya beda, wajar klo dibilang hambar

@@bronbron53321 well, spoon is from ancient egypt, so what's your point? lol Indonesian people also use spoon, fork, chopstick, and even directly with hands. but we almost never use chopstick for nasi goreng/fried rice. actually quite a lot of people here that can't use chopstick, and even those who can some would still find it hard to eat fried rice with chopstick.
It's amazing that you're not Indonesian but you can cook all that, but the way to eat gado2 is to mix everything together instead of eating it separately 😅
If u think Indonesian food is good, u need to came to indonesia and try the original taste. 10-100 times better, it will kick your tastebuds and it will make u think it making sense why Dutch colonized Indonesia for 350 years and make VOC the richest "company" ever untill today
Agree, and they have to raise their spice tolerance a bit because once you're used to indonesian spicy, it really enhance the food's flavor and experience.
Their reaction is so pure because in western food they didn't add so much spice when cooking like people in Indonesia or Asian dishes that's why when u traveling into Asia u must try at least one or two different dishes from each country 😊
The martabak texture in that video does'n look like what I ate here, the texture there looks like kinda hard and there's not enough topping,, but here it's melted with chocolate and cheese and taste like heaven

Something unique about Indonesia is sweet soy sauce or we called kecap, in other countries there is only salty soy sauce, so it has a unique and delicious taste.
Kecap is not peanut, it's sweet soy bean sauce. In case you guys go to Indonesia one day, just remember to ask for " saos tomat" for ketchup, because if you say kecap ( same pronouncation as ketchup), the sweet soy sauce is what you'll receive. Btw that gado gado doesn't even look appetizing.

However we're using our bare hand and sometimes spoon and fork😂 For gado gado you should mix the peanut sauce with all the veggies, and the nasi lemak we called it nasi uduk, but thanks again
