Villains of the Wastes [VW] runs RIBA farm all day long, every day with dedicated commanders. They also take donations from players to help fund new people that would like to be a commander on the SW map. They will train you and try to get you into a commander tag. I had to wait on a waiting list to get in, BUT it is very much worth your time to get into this guild. Any time of day I can "x" up in chat and get into a farm with no trouble. Love the guild so much.
+Lawliet RyùuZaki I've really been making the effort of getting right to the point, my first few videos were far from that honestly haha, but I've found it's much better to get right into it. Thank you for the sub!
I'm really new to the game and don't really know what you're talking about, but it sounds good. Thanks for the info! I'm sure I'll figure some of this out as I keep playing more.
Quality video as always :) Now if only we gave you more time to make more videos :D Thank you for guides like these they are a great help for new returning or current players. Thank you again :)
Thanks for this guide! I would love to see a guide on how to farm unbound magic in general. What LS3 maps are the best to run dailies for, which map currency is easier to farm, etc.
+AchiOrigins you're welcome! That's a topic I'd be glad to tackle. I'll write it down and work on it soon, I'm working on a series at the moment so it may be a week or two until it's out
One very efficient way is simply to consume the berries you farm in bitterfrost, with only guild hall boost you get 45-55 berries per run which takes about 5min on thief and a bit more on other classes, should be below 10 even if you are slacking, those berries yield about 800-1,2k unbound magic!
Heya! These tips are amazing, especially the winterberry one. Thanks for that! Question though, regarding the Pact Scout Mapping Material, it changes every day these 6 merchants. Sometimes the merchants are in areas that have no map rewards. Does that mean I shouldn't do them since they have no reward (like in a low level Ascalon map).
+Miggy Unabia hey thanks so much for watching! For the mapping materials, what you should do is buy them and hold onto them. They don't automatically redeem as you buy them from the merchant, it gives you an item, that way you can bring it to the map you want and use it there
Absolutely genius. Love it. Thank you! Great way to make money too. Got maybe 41 bags, so thats 41g, but sold everything i got, and got 100g, so had a profit of 60g. Love your tip. Thank you! :)
Just discovered your channel, and you do a great job. Keep in going, all my support ! Maybe you could write the tips your are saying for more clarity and for the not English native speaker ? Just a suggestion. Anyway, thumb up bro. +1 subscribe
+Shydya Isaya thank you so much Shydya! And thanks for the suggestion, I never considered that. I'll start adding my tips to the video description, I'll see what I can do about the translate feature as well.
Is "Simply Wasted" still around and doing sw runs? If so, I would really like to join but I cant find them anywhere online... is there anyone who you know who i could contact?
+Pew Pew hey it's actually called "Sinfully wasted" or "Sinful Wasters" if I'm remembering correctly. I'm not too sure how to contact them. I was in the guild for a bit but was kicked from inactivity I believe. Although most week days they're in Silverwastes on LFG, which is how I found them
+_TÁR. Hey! You shouldn't need a mastery. There are two quaggan traders in Bitterfrost, the one in the woods is a renowned heart merchant that sells those tools, and the other one is the unbound magic merchant that sells everything else. You want to go to Sorrow's Eclipse waypoint in the center of the map and run up the platforms to the top of the frozen Kodan Ship, you'll find the unbound merchant there. It's a whale quaggan
Before hots there were a guild on EU side who did SW 24/7 runs, people were paying our guild to get into the maps we had xD But few days before hots guild leader and many officers got perment banned cause of selling Legendary weps for irl cash funny part our leader did sell like 14 legendarys weekly during that time cause we earned so much. Our groups had scouts and clearers and they got payed in gold hourly i think as a key scout you got 50g/hour + ofc all the boxes you looted ^^
i have 3 accounts that i log in daily that give a total of 55 laurels per month then i buy T6 bags that give 3 per bag so thats 495 T6 mats for just logging in :P
+swordoflorn hey man thank you! I'm not in the guild anymore, I think the best way to find them would be to check LFG under "open world- squad" for Silverwastes run by SW.
+Guildnam Style this is a method I considered, especially since maps have map bonus reward rotations, but I didn't get a chance to delve into it too much. That's a really good rate, how many bags do you come across in 2 hours?
Megil is up ever 11 minutes, and the event on 5 people takes about 7 minutes so youll get it done 3 times an hour plus in between plinx gaveborn waycamps, 30 bags for megil at mf food, boosts, tech, plus all items in between your looking really good. I got 8 exotics plus rares to ectos, plus t6 saved. So if you sold it all 30g, saved about 20
Really? I've never done this method in "bulk" (if that's the right term?) The times I've promoted, I've only ever used the minimal supplies that I've had, which would typically be enough for 1-2 forges; I'd say overall I've broken even, but I've only done it a handful of times personally. I look at the minimum output from the recipe and assume that's what I'll always get haha, pretty pessimistic of me, but that's why I never do it.
Ya, I always do 250 crystalline with 250 Shards, 10 stack of 250 large fangs and 1 vicious fangs, cost around 70 and and I make around 20 to 30 gold of profit, that how I got to 100 gold for the first time and bought the episode to get to bitterfrost. Plus as soon as you get 6 fangs from the forge you make profit and when you get 7 to 12 fangs it makes out for the times you get 5 fangs, so at the end you make profit.
The trick is that example I I spend 500g on mats to do this method, I end up making a huge amount of money in one hour, so the more you spend, the more you make. Plus it's pretty simple but tricky when it comes to selling it.
This all makes no sense. There sonething called the "trading post". This allows you to just farm gold and buy mats with it. Mats are not account bound. Farming gold is way quicker.
I completely agree, although, this guide was meant to show where you can obtain the materials directly through gameplay, not through the trading post. Once you understand which gold farms earn the most per hour, that far exceeds farming for any specific material. Farming gold for hours on end gets boring, as well as farming one specific item to get mass amounts of it. It's just a matter of the way you like to play, not everyone wants to make the most money per hour, some want to experience different ways of obtaining the items you need.

+princessmisery that is awesome! Thank you for sharing that
i loved how you directly started talking about what's this video about instead of giving a 2 mins intro
subscribed.

Can't have enough people doing so. Really informative video!
Thank you!
Great video, i feel like "how to get tier6" is 1 of the questions thats on almost everyone's mind these days, and this summs it up nicely.
+KriSSberddy I appreciate that! It's definitely a thought I've had countless times before
For all the EU players here, there's a guild with the tag [CG] that runs RIBA in Silverwastes all the time. You'll often find them on the lfg aswell
+LeMoustacheMann Thanks for sharing this!
Awesome Rheyo, well documented and to the point , thumbs up
+pinkfloyd endless thank you Dinky!
Not even a minute in and you helped a ton
Glad it could help!
I'm really new to the game and don't really know what you're talking about, but it sounds good. Thanks for the info! I'm sure I'll figure some of this out as I keep playing more.
You definitely will, tier 6 materials wasn't something I was concerned for until much later until a bit later in the game. Welcome to guild wars 2!
Quality video as always :) Now if only we gave you more time to make more videos :D Thank you for guides like these they are a great help for new returning or current players. Thank you again :)

Hey anytime I’m glad it could help, welcome back to the game!
These videos are so helpful, thank you! :)
+Lily Tron of course thanks for watching!
thank you very much man, i need it for gift of Fortune and keep going
+zelda déméga of course Zelda, thank you for the suggestion!
Excellent video! Just got a new sub!
+Jared Cone thank you Jared!

Warped bundles are now terrible. Get volitle magic and bundles from dragon fall for best value.

Is finding a good SW map still viable as of June 2018? I sure hope so :).
Yes it’s definitely still a thing, it’s a very easy laid back farm and many people still run it
Wonderful to read thank you Rheyo
Yo dude! I need to know the "language" masteries ? In this npc on bitter frost i see only magic gathering tools nothing else. cheers

i got it already, thanks anyway. You need to make 4 step from story line, or purchase unboud magic gathering tool. cheers
Nice Video keep up the good work ! :3
+Asoras thank you!
Dope knowledge

+Cendo Studios that's insane! 14 legendaries a week is ridiculous, making enough to do that from Silverwastes is something I can't even imagine haha
Nice thank you for this ;)
+Michael Coffey of course man!
Best SW is RIBA
+Beskid E yup! That's why I mentioned sinful wasters guild for NA players, they strictly run that rotation
you can just double click when you buy stuff
+Mistermooseers ever since they updated buying items from vendors I've fallen away from that habit haha
i have 3 accounts that i log in daily that give a total of 55 laurels per month then i buy T6 bags that give 3 per bag so thats 495 T6 mats for just logging in :P
That's insane! You must get a nice gold paycheck each month :P
well ya and no because i keep selling them it has taken me 4+ years to make a legendary and i still need alot more because i can finally get my first
but i am going to farm those things now as well in pvp reward track
soms good tips here
+Kelly Smet thanks!
Wow. Great vid. Could you hook me up with that SW guild?
+swordoflorn hey man thank you! I'm not in the guild anymore, I think the best way to find them would be to check LFG under "open world- squad" for Silverwastes run by SW.
Thanks man. Getting close to my legendary, just need the T6 mats really. Didn't know about most of these methods until I seen this vid.
+swordoflorn keep up the work on it man, that's awesome, good luck!
And now the blood is about 20 silver (3:54).
Blood is at 40s, I know istan nerfed it a bit but with the recent changes the t6 mats are starting to regulate again
good video :)
+thrall thank you!
crsed shore event farming i find better i average 30 gold every 2 hours. thats not openig loot bags which usually give a t6 every 4
+Guildnam Style this is a method I considered, especially since maps have map bonus reward rotations, but I didn't get a chance to delve into it too much.

*every two hours
Guildnam Style wow that's nuts, just the amount of Exotics you got during that time is blowing my mind. I have to give this a shot!
Its by far my best run average is 1 to 4 exotics
Tbh promoting t5 to t6 made me a shit ton of money, great way to convert spiritshards into money too.
Really? I've never done this method in "bulk" (if that's the right term?)

+Blaster Proses nice, I'll have to look more into this then. I have an insane amount of shards stored away
