Isn't that kind of irrelevant to the question of metal aesthetics to begin with since Biohazard is just a metallic hardcore band and not really metal per se?
(don't know if people are familiar with or still use the term "metallic hardcore" since I'm an out-of-the-loop geezer)
Hardcore went almost all the way into Full Wigger Mode by the 2000s brah brah, they were always on some street-aesthetics shtick starting in the late '80s with the NYHC bands and it just increased until we got to the "yo-yo what up ngga" homeboy flatbrim shit we have now, it just is what is, can't change it lol
Side note: I saw Biohazard back in late '91, they were opening for the Exploited to support their self-titled album (the George owned it, of course.)
Type O Negative was the first supporting band band to play at that show and due to the fact that it was during their "Slow Deep and Hard" tour they were of course virtually unknown back then.
Later I went outside into the parking lot and saw Peter Steele sleeping at the wheel of his parked touring van hahaha
1991...a trvly fine vintage, fvckin' love that era of The Exploited. The Massacre is a sky-high testosterone album and the follow-up to that, Beat the Bastards is a raging testosterone BEAST!

I think blindly hating on bands because they are popular is lame poser BS. 200 Stab Wounds, Frozen Soul, Gatecreeper, Sanguisugabogg, Tomb Mold, etc have all made perfectly acceptable music from what I've heard. Can they touch the classics? Not in my opinion but to pretend they make deplorable music is egregious. Far worse shit out there.

Biohazard sure smokes 90% kvlt toughguy blackmetal bands out there. I was lucky enough they were playing next stage to Marduk in Hellfest 2010 because I was literally falling asleep there. Don't know their fans, but the band is solid and entertaining as fuck, Evan is a cool dude. Sure things I can't say about Marduk. And it's not like the average Marduk fan has anything in common with me.
Tbh I like both bands but to each their own.
