I bought one of these last summer. It shoots great! I mounted a Strike industries hand stop and ambidextrous selector, O Light Valkyrie Light and a Sig Romeo 5 red dot. Its a great little set up!
Curious how it's been holding up/ if you have had any issues. Looking at getting one myself
@@acanuck4life So far, so good. That being said, I haven’t shot it in a while. I’m waiting for this pistol brace issue to be overturned. I removed my brace and put the gun in my safe. It’s been there since.
I have the 8 inch one I love it. Fired almost 1000 rounds and had 0 problems.

I just bought an 8 inch fx9 and I shoot freedom ammunition pro match 147 hp and it eats em right up, the piece of paper that comes with it that has the recommended ammo is just that,.. a recommendation.. it doesn’t specifically say anything about 147 grain or +p.. but it does say specifically not to use non jacketed ammo or aluminum casing!! If u call them and ask about it they say 147 is just fine and for +p ammunition the person I talked too said not to shoot a great abundance of it for it could damage the barrel Over time... hope this helps a few of you
I got the 8inch, it's probably my most enjoyable and fun gun to shoot. I put a cmc trigger in mine and never had any issues.
I love my AR9 Pistol. Probably my most used gun! Mine is American Resistance Gear Lower and the rest is just various parts that have went though several changes to get to the ultimate 9mm in my opinion!
True on the KelTec....you do have to really bare down to get cheek weld!

@@TacticalCowboy89 LOL, Buffalo Outdoors sent me his Mech Tech CCU and I sent him my Sub.... Ultimately we decided to trade because neither of us wanted to give back the gun.....don't tell him but, I think I got the best of him because the 1x prism that is on the Mech is fantastic but, on the other hand my Sub had about $100 worth of aftermarket trigger. I will get another Sub though....they are handy.

I own one, 8 inch and its awesome. You can switch out trigger you be fine many already have. You need anti-walk out pins right away. The pins Will walk out. Dont know if the newer ones come with them already on but i bought mine like 3 yrs ago. If you dont like fake suppressor take it off put on A-3 BIRD CAGE FLASH HIDER or whatever if you need more room. Always verify your muzzle devices are designed for 9mm before attempting to use them , as many muzzle devices are threaded 1/2″-28 TPI (Threads per inch) they may not be designed for use with 9mm. As far as trigger - PATRIOT ORDNANCE FACTORY DROP IN TRIG works great.
Have you shot any HP ammo through it? I have the 4.5" fx9 and it really doesn't like HP ammo very much, I put my hand loads HP ammo through it and and have the round jam up into the chamber crushing the projectile into the case. It shoots my hand loaded ball ammo all day no problem.
Unfortunately it was only a couple of different brand FMJ. Wish I had an abundance of HP to feed it but just not possible in today’s world.

I'm looking at the Foxtrot Mike lineup. I'm a lefty (handed, not politically!) and the FX models aren't friendly to me at all.
How hard is it to change the brace out?
You have to remove the stock extension aka the buffer tube and replace it with what the new brace comes with. Watch a “how to” video and you’ll be fine. You’ll need an armorer wrench.

@@DD-ix3bm absolutely love it. Keep it propped up beside the night stand. I've probably ran around 1000 rounds through it and no problems at all. It eats anything I put in it. Actually thinking about ordering another one. Buds still has some on stock
