I’m trying to figure out who makes the best side by side to convert to a street legal long lasting daily driver. So far the only one that fits that is the mahindra Roxor. My state you can make side by sides street legal long as you meet all the DOT requirements
Nice. I’ll pin this comment and kindly ask others to weigh in. For me, it’s hard to beat the Mule. I’m a fan of these engines and my dealer is right down the road. Others may have other opinions. I am hoping they will share. RS
@@RailheadRanch the thing that’s hard to beat on the roxor is it’s a turbo diesel jeep clone with a manual 5 speed. Cheap to modify but the price new is up there with entry level side by sides. I’m looking for something that can handle 60-70 mph all day if need be. It seems like the honda might be able to handle that but idk. I’m on the fence. I just want something I can park next to my K5 and drive to work and drive to the mountains and not be afraid to beat up. Have you ever heard of the roxor?
I just bought my Platinum Ranch a couple days ago. I haven't had a chance to drive it more than down to the mailbox and back. We're looking forward to some great gravel road riding!
Just bought this exact same one, for our ranch my 1st utv paid 22200 with windshield, like you I looked at everything out there and kept coming back to Kawasaki
I’m sure that Esko loves the Mule, and You made Patrick’s day. I agree with you completely about the quality of the Mule and Kleiber. Happy New Year to the Scotts!!!
Do you know if this has engine braking? We love the look of this machine for work around our property, but we often hunt in steep country where you might be coming off a steep hill for a few miles.
Great question. I believe so. You should be able to confirm with a quick web search on specs. I know I can keep it loaded and slow roll down hills without having to worry about it running away.
That's a pretty cool purchase! New to y'all's channel! We are from Oklahoma! My name is Amy and my husband is Chris! I'll be watching and commenting on your videos!! Cool video! Your animals are pretty cool!!
Amy and Chris, Welcome to the channel! We're Oklahoma friendly and pleased to make your acquaintance. Wishing you a very happy and prosperous 2024. -Ryan
Not a bad idea. We considered an enclosed Polaris, but it was the same cost as a new Cybertruck. Very nice though! Wishing you guys much continued prosperity and health in the New Year.
Did you guys hear about the massive recall on these units? They don't even want you starting them. Intakes are exploding and catching fire. I was about to get one until I saw that. Thank god I did. Guess I'll get one next year when they work out a fix. Right now Kawasaki doesn't have one.
Kawasaki does a good job communicating. Any time a recall is announced, they send notices to owners through all vehicles of communication and dealers. The work is covered by Kawasaki. Those on the lots have already had recall work completed. We haven’t taken ours in, at this point, but will sometime during the winter.
I think it will come down to individual tastes and preference. I like to configuration, durability, and quiet power of the Mule in the Platinum Ranch Edition. I still haven’t really utilized the mechanical load stabilization feature to its full potential, but this is also very nice for carrying heavy loads, which are necessary from time to time. I haven’t seen anything like this on the other brands.
Hi Joel, If you are anywhere near our neck of the woods, call Patrick at Keleiber. They will take care of you. I have an ag exemption, and I probably could have done better than 3,500 on the trade of our old Polaris Ranger 570, but I was not disappointed at an additional 20,435.10 cash (out the door). This included delivery on Thanksgiving day. Kleiber is a tractor and equipment house; they tend to add far fewer fees than other organizations. I have made similar purchases from motorcycle and powersports places; these organizations tend to add way more garbage to the invoice. I hope this helps. RS
@@RailheadRanch That helps a lot. I'm looking at the Ranch Edition (non Platinum). I'm down in San Antonio, so I'll probably stay around here for the purchase. So without the trade you would have been at $23,935?

Nice! I definitely need to pick up a windshield for ours.
Just bought one. Fells like you are in a boat. very smooth and so quit.
Good afternoon guys, I like your new Mule. Have a great weekend and a Happy New year. to all at the Railhead Ranch. thank you for video Ryne. 😃
Hey Peter, Thank you for watching. Have a great day. RS
thats one of the best demos of how that bed works I have seen
Thanks! Hope it’s helpful.

That bed is really cool. Nice ride. Mrs. HF wants her own side by side, but she is requiring AC/Heat so she can ride around and Supervise in comfort.

@@RailheadRanch Did you hear what they are doing to repair the intake issues? I haven't heard what exactly the fix is?
Other than price, can you talk about the differences between this and a six seat Ranger?

@@timflaherty2731 Thank you for supporting the channel. Have a great weekend, RS
Stay away from polaris if you want to work it hard. Around here its 1500 miles, 1500 dollars in maintenance.
The only thing keeping me from buying the platinum is fear of my dogs scratching up the seats. How is that going for you with your dogs?
Hi Keith, We ride around with dogs every day. It holds up well. This would be a good item to highlight in an update video. RS
Happy New Year 2024 to you and your family.🥳
Love the new addition.👍❤️🇨🇦
Happy New Year Denise!
What was the final price out the door after rebates and all the garbage fees they add on? I'm gonna purchase one within a couple weeks. Thanks!

Howdy neighbor. Thanks!
I got mine 2 months ago. Received a recall telling me not to operate it till they figure out a fix for the recall.
I just received the same in the mail…. A month ago. Not sure how serious it is, but I plan to take it in.
Has recall been fixed I’m in the market for one

Don't forget Kawasaki gives a 3 year warranty from the factory. Polaris and can am is only 6 months
Good point
2023 and 2024 Polaris and can am do 1 year. Just sayin. I just bought a 2024 Pro-FXT 1000 LE Ranch Edition and I love it.
Nice!!!
