Customer service has been a huge issue in this Country for the last several years. Those days of "the customer is always right" are long gone. Lack of respect, responsibility, profit margin and accountability have left the cunsumer with their sense of recourse taken from them and big business roughshodding over everyone. Make them accountable and do exactly what you have done or boycott them altogether. Thank You Andrea for sharing! Best of luck to you and your family.

@@0to100_real_quickThe problem today is that the big corporations own these manfacturing companies. You're left with no real alternative except to buy from them. As stated in the video, my son bought an expensive washer which broke down a little after a year which was right when the warranty ran out. He basically was forced to buy the extended insurance to avoid having to pay another hefty service repair bill. It's all a racket.

I am so sorry that y'all are going through this. I would do 2 things: 1) talk to an attorney 22:27 the consultation is usually free. It might just take a letter with the attorneys name and address on letter head. It did for me with my boat. 2) make a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Making a complaint and consulting an attorney could help you legally for future problems. Even including a recall notice.but a recall problem has to become apparent with much time for the manufacturer to respond. Especially if you look at Ford's auto history . And that's where the State has imposed Lemon Laws to protect the consumer in the automotive industry.

Don't cross the 4010 off your list. Just make sure you pick the right dealer. Had mine for a year now with no issues what so ever from purchase on. All vehicles can have issues new. Just need to make sure you have a dealer that will fix your issues if they do come up. Will say it's not unusual for a dealer that you don't originally purchase from to push it back to the back of the line for warranty work. Most will work on vehicles/equipment that was purchased from them first to keep those customers they have received more money from happy to keep them coming back.

It makes zero sense to buy and brand new one because your old one is getting “tired” . We rebuild ours at certain regular intervals and it’s not that big of a deal . We have 6 of them on our farm and all have thousands and thousands of hours on them . When they break we fix them on the farm , I can’t imagine buying new ones instead of just freshning up the old ones up . We have a working farm so we aren’t using them for show .

I had several people try to scam me on buying a peekapoo. They claimed to have puppies for sale but wanted me to send money for all kinds of things that breeders don't usually do. I figured them all out pretty quick and they have blocked me on FB so I couldn't warn others they were scammers when they advertised the very same photos of a puppy they don't have. One of the groups I was in had some seniors get taken in by these scammers and were taken for more than a thousand dollars and I felt so sorry for them. It was a sacrifice for them but they wanted a companion so much, some had lost their old dog a few months before. It's awful what some people are willing to do for money.

I’m sorry for your raw deal. I’ve been a mechanic about half my life. I’ve been on both sides of similar situations. There are makes of vehicles I won’t go back to after their company’s bad service.
I’m glad you have a strong voice on RUclips.
I’ve seen problems being the customer service not relaying correct info to techs, techs not doing their job correctly, customers not giving enough info or just didn’t know their vehicle, and, less common but still extant, sometimes a person just gets a bad one.
Which unfortunately sounds like you’ve had a combo of some of these.
That being said, I find it ironic that your MULE is giving you so much grief. It’s living up to its name it being stubborn.
I do hope it gets resolved for you and that the vehicle works so well the rest just becomes forgettable history.
Keep us posted. Thank you again for sharing.

I see so many sub par parts / tools every day. So many suppliers send us parts / tools that are assembled by people who just dont care about sending out a quality product.
My company spends crazy money on parts to keep the factory running and build the trucks that don't last as long as they should.

I will tell you, we bought a brand new Dutchman Astoria 5th wheel this last summer. We have taken it out several times to camp. We have gotten several calls from Dutchman since we bought it asking us how we like it and if everything is going well with it. We bought it local and they took it in to winterize it for us (covered under warranty) and we have been so very satisfied with this company. So, I love to give kudos where they are due and RV Dutchman company is top notch. We owned a Jayco toy hauler previously and there were several things wrong with it. We had a hard time getting ANY Jayco dealership to work on it! Even the one we bought it from!! It was a nightmare as well. We are happy with our new RV AND the service/company. I bought a mule about 4 years ago. It has over 400 hours on it and I have done all of the maintenance on this machine myself. I did buy it about an hour away from my house , because it was the only one I could find. I use this machine a lot, we live in the National Forrest and I cut firewood all of the time. I load it up all and even pull a trailer with wood in it. The only issue I have had is that sometimes, if it sits in the sun for a while, it’s hard to start. I realized that I needed to let the pressure out of the gas tank and then there is no issue. Where I live, it gets very hot in the summer. Last week , I actually flipped it over on its side backing up to drop a load, I’m lucky I didn’t get hurt , but there was absolutely no damage to the Mule. Im very impressed with mine, it’s a work horse. Oil changes are very easy to do on my own. All I have done to it is the basic maintenance, I have changed the oil 4 times in 400 hours, but that’s just me. Anyone looking at a UTV , I would recommend a Mule, mine has been amazing.

Hope you read this! Your video has had some real impact. It should make you smile 😇! (BTW this comment is to this channel but my dealers will read this.)
A week ago, I was researching the mule as I WAS close to pulling the trigger on a two 2024 models. It's basically what you bought. Never owned Kawasaki before. I was looking at the cost of the machine not the dealer. On paper the mule seemed great. Kawasaki is well known and it is priced right too! I own a small family business in Canada. We emphasize low impact and no BS forest management. Business is good! My clients are homesteaders and small to medium farms that manage their land. Your video just felt right. You are no BS from my outside viewpoint.
Since my local TRUSTED dealer is the only one in town and they only have Polaris and BRP equipment. They service our ATV's and snowmobiles at a fair price. There have been issues but the dealer and me always find solutions. So for the mules I just found a deal online. Its BIG dealer about 2 hours away. OMG they are great at sweet talking! But never a real question answered. It's all about profits! All their employees are very young. It seems nobody as enough experience. But I was forgetting about that aspect. Your video woke me up. This was a justified rant/complaint! i realized that i was taking my dealer for granted. Your comments are correct. The video made me put in context what I was going through myself.
I decided to call my clients, many are friends, and asked if they knew the big dealer. Most did. Not all were negative but I got a few horror stories! I am already so busy, I don't have time for BS. I simply decided to stay with my local dealer. I am going with Polaris. A bit more expensive but in the long run I think I will save. I told the big dealer why. I sent them this video. They don't care. They said they had all brands!
To Kawasaki: You need to find solutions not just look at profit margins! Believe me I get the importance of viable margins!!! You thought that you could get away with it but the video got out! Geez you where involved from the beginning. You pull the strings, you let big dealers like this represent you! I decided to vote with my $$ and go elsewhere because you dont realise that your clients are key! Videos like this shouldn't have to be made.

We are in Arkansas as well and we had the problem with roofers. Signed us to contracts that bound us to them but then wouldn’t come out and it was a huge job on our farm (over 150k) because homes and barns were damaged. Ended up my mom in hospice at home and had to endure 2 days of banging and disruption, the last week of her life. Im still furious. We waited months and months. The workers set a fire next to our hay barn to keep warm (what in the world), I had to chase all their trash out of our livestock pastures. Then we had several family members who came for her service get flat tires in my parents yard from roofing nails.

The same thing happened to me with a new Chevrolet Silverado truck. After many attempts to get the vehicle repaired, I requested a buyback. After that the dealer acted like they didn't know me and General Motors dug their heels in. What really, got me RUclips had videos of the same issues I was having which I showed the dealer and they said it was fictitious information. I had to get an attorney to resolve the issue. About one year later I got my purchase money back but I still had to pay attorney fees. My conclusion I will never ever buy another GM product because the company and vehicles are nothing but garbage!
I can't understand when a consumer has a legitimate issue why the seller/ corporation will not stand behind their product after the consumer pays, hard-earned money to purchase their product?

We had a similar problem with Ford about 20 yrs ago. We went through 5 transmissions in our diesel pickup in as many years, the 5th went belly up while towing our 5th wheel out of state. We took it to the regional Ford large truck repair center for replacement, and had to wait 10 days for them to look at it. On day 11 they put in a rebuilt transmission in. We watched the installer take the filters out while installing. We questioned it, asked him to put them back in, he refused (we kept the filters). We made note of it and left with the truck "fixed". 500 miles later it seized up. We managed to limp to our eventual destination and contacted Ford for another replacement. They refused, saying it was our problem even in arbitration. Never again...we had to buy a new Dodge Ram (which we still own) and will never buy another Ford. Luckily we could afford to eat it, not willing to take them to court out of state. Stick by your guns and let everyone hear you loud and clear. It is not right!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Your right on the money with this rant. I bought my 4th new Kawasaki from a local dealership , a motorcycle this time around and what a shit show it's been !
On my first ride 8 miles in, the throttle stuck at about 1/2 throttle or more while going down a rutted up dirt road, I was only going about 25-30 at the time but the road was terrible so it was just a bit exciting getting it to stop to say the least ! After shifting down frantically I applied both brakes lightly and the front one locked up tight tight as a drum pitching me over the handle bars dislocating my shoulder and I had to drive it home by the shortest route which was about 12 miles on a better road. Now that was some kinda fun let me tell ya !
After returning from the hospital the next day I inspected the bike further and found both control modules on the handlebars were loose causing the throttle to not return to idle and on further inspection I also found the storage oil had been left on the brake rotors which hadn't been removed which is why the front brake locked up on me. I also found the rear brake light not working and the switch was out of adjustment , the drive chain was also loose and had not been lubricated either plus it was adjusted improperly making the rear wheel "crab walk " sideways from being adjusted unevenly.
So I called the dealership to cancel the sales contract which is my legal right under our state law,,,Ya right , I got nothing but a run around, from both the dealership and Kawasaki .
Long story short , here I am 8 months later , still all bunged up and it took over a month before they even came to pick it up , a month before it was properly set up then they held on to it for almost 4 months and refused to take it back with only 27 miles on it , and it was delivered with 6 miles on it already .
They did give me an extended warentee though, which amounts to nothing sense I couldn't ride it if I wanted to , being all bunged up still,,,Gee big deal , Thanks For Nothing !
I got lie after lie both from Kawasaki and the dealership, I'll guarantee I'll NEVER buy another vehicle from either one , period and I'm still considering a law suit sense I may need an operation to fix my shoulder which will lay me up for even more time!
Mind you now , I've been riding motorcycles sense 1961 and had at least 25-30 different motorcycles and ATV 's both and have been a highly certified mechanic all my life and this was my first accident ever on one. Of course I've flopped motorcycles while going off roading before and that's pretty much expected going off roading , but never crashed on a road.
Somehow neither Kawasaki or the dealership will take responsibility for there lousy pre -delivery prep , even though they did say those issues were in fact present at the time of delivery. There loss though as I'd planned on buying a brand new $ 26K side by side as well and already had a quote for one with a bunch of added accessories that was in stock.
Go Pound Sand Kawasaki and Central VT Motorsports, I'll never darken your door again and I'll go pay cash for one someplace else !

People like you shouldn't own motorcycles or definitely ride them. I can't believe getting on a motorcycle and not noticing that the brakes control levers are loose that just strikes me as insane. And to not notice the very first time you touch the front brake lever you know pulling out of the driveway or your backyard or you're getting it out of the truck that there's grease on the disc rotor? That's just absurd. And you managed to lightly tap the brake lever going 30 miles an hour down the trail and it seized up the brake and flipped you over ???? dude you're full of crap..
We sincerely hope that No One Believes your line of crap or steers a purchase one way or another because of what your lies have convinced them of

We are currently in the market for a Mule and I just learned that there is an outstanding recall on the FXT 1000 a combustion issue. Apparently there wasn't a fix for about 4 months. Thank you for bringing this to the public.

Oh Andrea I’m sorry y’all have been dealing with this. I wish people would just treat others with kindness. Too many companies are worried about the bottom line rather than the customer. I hope someone shares this with the owner of that store.

You are right. As long as corporation has the power they afford to minimize the freedom to choose..
