Great review. I own a 2021 PRO FX and love it. I also added the hydraulic dump ram myself which works great and front and rear brush gaurds. Top speed was 50 MPH down a road when I had the distance...LOL. I agree with the tailgate deal so I added some rubber roofing to the bed that extendeds over the tail gate when dumping dirt or small debris. They are a great work machine and YES expensive but I feel it was worth it. I use CRITTER RITTER spray around the electrical parts to keep mice out etc.
Thank you for your review. Hopefully you will get many years worth of work out of your purchase. Just take it slow and you and Molly have a great time! God bless you and your family!
Looks good for what it can do. Yeah, the cons make sense given its s farm vehicle. This has no front wiper? If it has a battery or engine block heater it would help this thing. I hate when good vehicles get the small details or accessibility features left out.
5'6", trust me, it doesn't fit me nearly as well as I would like. But it's not terrible. I have the ranch edition so the seat is a LITTLE better, but not much. It will go almost anywhere the sporty machines go, just slower. I use mine around the property to haul firewood and tools when I am cutting down trees or clearing the property. I really like the machine.
Hey Buddy, Great Video! One question on the ol Mule! What's the steepest grade you e gon e down? K live in Wyoming and My Mule is enduring g some serious grade. Uphill is on. Downhill SUCKS! What's your thoughts ?
I mean going up our Oro mountain is no problem and its pretty steep. I don't know the incline, but I can't even ride my mountain bike up it cause I get too tired. Coming down the mountain though you're right the downshifting needs improvement. I basically need to ride the brakes all the way down or risk going out of control.
The trick to going downhill is to not let all the way off the throttle, just keep the pedal slightly pushed. If you let all the way off the throttle, the clutch will kick into neutral and away you go. By keeping the pedal pushed slightly the clutch will remain engaged and you can allow engine braking to hold you back somewhat.
There are many reviews, I just thought I'd put my spin on things plus I have the cutie as an extra. They do in fact come in a 3 passenger, I just wanted the 3 to 6 passenger so I have more options.
Tie bounce sheets around the wires, should work to keep pests away from wires. Change everyonce in awhile. I bought a ranger midsize, super fun eps model. But like you for the dollars paid there were imo some shortcuts and cheapouts on such an expensive machine.
Thanks for this review, so no real major problems , sounds like an awesome machine .
I’ve had it 3 years and haven’t had any issues at all. Very durable and quiet compared to other engines.
This is a awesome review! I’ve been looking for a good review on the FXT for forever. No one really did it. You did an awesome job!
I really appreciate that bud. 👍

Thanks for sharing you have some good ideas there...I like the critter ridder idea. Wicked awesome machine and just like you, I have no regrets.

Every time I get in the Mule and start it up Molly runs over to the door cause she wants to ride lol
@@HiddenSpringFarm Molly is a trusty friend! ❤

Con- must remove clutch cover, clutch, belt and a few more things to replace the starter. Book time is 4 hours lol
I agree about the rat/squirrel issue. I have the same issue. Top speed is 45 mph or 72 kmph
Another viewer said to put some "Critter Ridder" in the cavities to deter the rodents so I'll try that and maybe some spray foam.

I do love the machine though, nothings perfect. My wife has to sit on the edge of the seat to reach the pedals lol.

First time I have seen a review on one of these. Do they come in different sizes as well?

Thanks for sharing, I've been using Critter Ridder but that stuff's expensive.
Great review!
Glad you enjoyed it, Thank u.
Most importantly, it's Molly approved.
Yup it sure is! She loves riding with me ever since she was a tiny pup.
Very nice video.
Thank you very much!
Was your Speedo set to KPH or MPH?
km/h
No, the pedals are actually too CLOSE for tall guys. And the steering wheel could be a couple inches farther away too.
It would be nice if the seat was a tad adjustable 😉
how much did it cost out the door ?
21k Canadian
Love the puppers
