    Have not been able to use our 2024 Kawasaki Mule since April due to a recall due to it can catch fire just starting it. Finally was texted that there is a fix. But now have to wait for parts. Almost 5 months , when they fix it offered $500 coupon for Kawasaki store. They should at least cover extra warranty for a year at least.

    Great review. Question. Is the diff lock for front, rear or both? I’m hoping that when it’s in 2wd with the diff unlocked, it’s an open diff much like the Honda Pioneer in turf mode. I need to be able to make 90 degree turns on the lawn without a live axle in the rear tearing up the lawn. Thanks.

    • @PeterLoweOne
      @PeterLoweOne  Год назад

      This one doesn't have a turf mode like you're describing.

      @@PeterLoweOne That is incorrect. Open the manual (available online on kawasaki's site) and look at the differential operation instructions. The diff lock is exactly the same as the 3cyl version, it switches between turf and locked rear modes. The front differential does not have a locking ability.

    Would be really nice to have shown us some acceleration videos or at least gave us a POV driving test. Your video right here is the ONLY video review for the new 2024 Mule on RUclips so far. Not sure why nobody is making videos showing the thing actually driving. 😭

    • @PeterLoweOne

      I can do that soon. Usually there are thousands of driving videos up, so I offer something different. But feel free to subscribe, and I'll try to do that soon.

      @@IHFarmer2007 I test rode one at a dealer since I made that comment. They seem a little quieter than the old ones and they’re WAY faster and WAY more responsive. Like a whole different machine. I’ll be buying one soon lol.

    No A arm guards? Looks good other wise. What about a cab enclosure?

      You can add those types of accessories. I just didn't show them on this model.

    Any improvements to transmission, gearing or downhill compression braking performance?

    • @PeterLoweOne
      @PeterLoweOne  Год назад +1

      The engine definitely changes the character. Maybe I'll have to do a back to back ride of them on the trails to talk about that in a comparison.

    • @CristianZamora
      @CristianZamora Год назад +1

      @@PeterLoweOne knowing that is the only thing to keep me from pulling the trigger. The extra grunt of the 999cc engine I would enjoy greatly, BUT I live in the rain forests of Costa Rica, LOTS of downhill driving and the Mule doesn't do downhill worth a damn... a comparison of compression braking for those of us that actually WORK our Mules would be awesome

    • @parkstreetrv

      The engine braking is very good in this 1000 Mule. The clutching is by far the smoothest I’ve ever felt of any side by side.

    I got one has an engine noise sounds like a piece of metal rolling around inside the engine idling or running down the road. Tuck it in for the recall and rind the noise. They did the recall. And they couldn’t fix the noise. Heard it but couldn’t fix it. So now I drive it sounding like it’s going to fly apart. Never again it’s a piece of 21000.00 junk.

    Don't buy one, I made the mistake in January 2024 and it was do not drive in April 18th from a ignition problem. Now it's June 15 with no end of the recall in site. I can't get any answers from kawasaki when this may be over. I used to think that kawasaki mule was number 1 but no more. They seem to think that it's ok to spend over 20,000. Dollars for something to walk around in your garage. Thanks alot kawasaki.
