I have an '18 model. The only thing I have done is put spark plugs and spark plug wires and regular maintenence. I am currently sitting at 11,400 miles, and I know that it will always be ready for me when I need it. Absolutely bombproof design. It is a simple machine, and I'm a simple man. I wouldn't hesitate to buy one of these. I may consider upgrading for the extra power and speed. One could argue they should upgrade certain things, but when it works, it works.
I own a 2016 and I've put over 7000 miles on it. It has hauled the grand kids, nieces and nephews, families visiting Montana, hay, trailers, lots of firewood, 6 big fellas and coolers. It has worked on the place, ran many, many trails with many friends, and hunted with a passion like the guy who owns it. It's hauled 2 bull elk, three men with all their gear and my dog off the mountain in one trip. I love it. That's why the new 1000 interests me. I only hope it can hang with it's little 820cc brother.
I agree about the speedometer and small on the interior. I guess in some ways their thinking you’re not as likely to use it or something. The seats really aren’t that bad for what they are. I remember some of the older rangers would get really hot. I know kawasaki has the new machine on the market with alot of premium upgrades. I would expect them to slowly change over to more of that kinda feel on some of them. Its definitely a work rig thats for sure but they can do most anything you want. They handle curves like its nothing. Our dealer test drove one and we were massively impressed. It would be nice to see rubber grip pads in some of those hard plastic trays as well. Its nothing you cant live with but polaris definitely has a bit of an advantage on them.
Too big of a unit. It’s accurate to say it’s solid, but be aware its physical size is a problem around trees etc. if you are looking at this to buzz around the property, take the garbage out etc, go with a golf cart. We love ours for tooling the back roads with the grandkids, but for yard work, it’s too big. Also, the heat that comes across your feet in the summer time is stifling.
I have a 2015 that has over 15,000 miles, and it still runs great. I have replaced the starter and one clutch and tires and 90 percent of the miles are off-road Arizona desert and on my farm in Ohio.
I have a 2022 rig I guess what I hate the most is the freaking park break needlessly to say there’s a few times where somebody’s taking off with the Park break still engaged . Needless to say it doesn’t work anymore. Yes I know you’re not supposed to, but it happens.
You forgot to add #6 ...National recall and if you have one, you're told to not use it. Dealer told me may be weeks, may be months. Looks like I'll be looking at a used older one.
You mentioned front lockers, everything I've read only refers to rear lockers. Have I missed something or did you miss speak? No criticism just trying to clarify
Drove a Defender today 6 seat enclosed cab version--very refined interior, didn't like the steering. Drove a Honda pioneer right after, the Honda felt much more solid.
The FXT's have been out best sellers, 2 rigs in 1, does everything, Goverened at 67MPH, flash the ECU and do mid 70's! Add our Hester Edition Elka shocks can gain 2" more ground clearance, 33% more wheel travel (over 13"!!!) and high end 2 stage valving that is just amazing! Can be built in 5 stages to pick from and built to spec and can carry SO much more than stock shocks, really changes the machine to a new world. We have TONS of mule builds on our channel, it's nice to see the true capabilities on these machines! Wish Kawasaki hired me to design for them and if they just came with our shocks SO many people would love them even more! Love the video! Great job! ruclips.net/video/AxuV9ODb9b8/видео.html
it has lower payload and towing capacity, lower fuel capacity, less ground clearance, and the engine is not the Kawasaki v twin....it's made by Kymco. the bad has a latch one both sides, so you have to walk around to unlock it. it has a seat like a 1970s school bus. i love my Kawasaki KLR 650 bikes....but i'm leaning towards the can am defender.
I was just going to ask if it had an open rear diff (unlike the live axles on ATVs) so that you don’t tear up the lawn on a turn. If it is an open diff, was curious if the locker does front, rear or both. Thanks.
For a Kawasaki or a Honda that is definitely a decent price that will stand the test of time and make you understand exactly where that extra $10k went ✌🏽♥️
The difference is that they outlast any machine on the market I have a Polaris ranger it’s a hood ride but no where near the build durability of a Kawasaki
@@stevenwilkes9373So true. A Mule isn’t designed for launching over approachs. People can complain all they want but if you want a reliable machine that will get ya home time and time again you buy a Kawi. Also, if you don’t like the ride of a Mule, try a Teryx. If that’s not enough try a KRX. There’s options.
Your post looks and feels absolutely baseless. The very first gen, maybe. They have stretched out and continue to make awesome products. Late to the game on certain things? Yes. But they get the job done.

I have a 2022 ranch with a lift an d 28s. Amazing trail machine and great for work. I intend to keep this for the next 15 years...
Was great to meet you out there

How well is the cab insulated from the engine and radiator heat?
What about fuel consumption vs the 800cc ?
Why do you allow for comments/questions if you never seem to answer them?
I don’t think 23 thousand is what it should be priced for Maby 18

Polaris has zero advantage on Kawasaki. The Kawasaki has a three year warranty and great warranty customer service.

Any idea what the engine dB noise rating is?

I like the parking brake but you’re right about forgetting it on now and then 😕
You forgot to add #6 ...National recall and if you have one, you're told to not use it. Dealer told me may be weeks, may be months. Looks like I'll be looking at a used older one.
Gee only $23000 looks like the att utv machines are getting out of price control
You mentioned front lockers, everything I've read only refers to rear lockers. Have I missed something or did you miss speak? No criticism just trying to clarify
Only rear locker
Does it hold back on hills or does it freewheel?
My 2020 holds back.
Looking for a comparison between this the ranger and deffender? 20% trail 80% yard work.
Drove a Defender today 6 seat enclosed cab version--very refined interior, didn't like the steering. Drove a Honda pioneer right after, the Honda felt much more solid.
Excellent machines
So does it have a Turf Mode?
2020 does.
There's a fire risk recall on the 1000cc 2024 MULE PRO-FXT, PRO-FXRT &PRO-FX - no fix. All dealers have been ordered to stop sale.
I got mine 5 weeks ago. They are telling me not to operate it.🤦♂️
Enjoyed the vid but…Disagree with you on the looks and the tailgate. I think that’s the best tailgate around, especially better than Polaris’s.

Locking rear diff not front...

@@stevehorvat69 Yes sir open, turf friendly. Locker is in the rear. Front is open.
Really, so no front locker?

👏👏👏
I pick up my Ranch Platinum here in about an hour =D
How do you like it?
The market is insane and for most, people under 17k isn't cheap. One latch sucks, much better with two.
Only 20000 dollars...... i can drive 2 cars for that 4 if i have to.
How you like the recall they don't even know how to fix yet? They just tell you not to drive it. I'll never buy another Kawasaki.
Mules have always been nasty riding golf carts . Kawasaki are hardly the best engineers out there
The difference is that they outlast any machine on the market I have a Polaris ranger it’s a hood ride but no where near the build durability of a Kawasaki
KRX would like to chat.

You haven't driven a new one. Rides like a Cadillac.
