I looked at one of these and an HD7. I bought the Defender HD7 because it had a roomier interior, upright seating position which helps a lot when trail riding,and the cargo bed is bigger and lower. It's much easier to load stuff into a Defender. The Defender is not quite as good on the trails, but I'm surprised by how well it does!
I had a semi-hard time figuring out what rig to purchase last summer (2022). Another problem was there were still massive shortages in my area for all UTVs/ATVs. I see inventory is catching up in 2023. I went with a Kawasaki Teryx 800 (2 seat). It is built like a tank. It was great snow plowing. It has a ton of storage behind each seat and a full dump bed. It looks great and it I bought the LE version so it has upgraded adjustable FOX shocks. That all being said. I don't find it to be a great trail machine. I'm not a speed demon, but it is a bit lacking in the get up and go department and it is very noisy once you get up beyond 25mph. I found best cruising speed to be 25 to 30 tops. This is fine for me as I'm now over 50 and just want a nice smooth ride. It rides fine, but even I would like a little more pep at times. I understand this is a crossover machine......... part workhorse and part trail rider. I need something that will push snow and has a dump bed. I just wish they offered this in 1000 instead of 800. I'd consider switching to something else, but I don't want to pay a fortune and I need the overall utility.
Sounds crazy but can't get over the cup holder location and no armrest. We do a lot of cruising through the woods and cup holders and armrests are definitely high on the priority list
If you're a East coast trail rider you'll like it. If you're a east coast OHV park rider that likes to climb the hills that make the crowd say yee yee, you'll hate it. It's a dang good trail machine, nothing more.
Drink holders are fine where they are. Out of the way and right there when you need a drink. You lose the gas cap with no teather youre just an idiot. Thanks fot the review.
My wife and I purchased this rig , in black, this past summer. Your video review was one of the deciding factors for us. Cheers!

Bought the same machine myself, kept up with a Polaris 1000 turbo in the snow. Has plenty of go.
LOL! Plenty of go? My 2023 sucks when it comes to power! Couldnt even beat a polaris ranger sp 570 in a drag race!
Really?? You can get a yamaha woverine x2 1000 for $400 more! Better everything including a 1000 cc parallel twin making 108 hp

Want to get a little more ground clearance on my 700 with out a lift kit can I go up to a 15” rim size or tire size
What's the 700's top speed?
My hd7 in my 22’ defender max will do 65. Just takes a country mile to get there. It’d a good engine can am has in the HD7.
@jew0182 is that 1000 cc or 700cc?
I'd like to buy one but I rub my elbow on the door to much to drive with my left arm!
Im sure this dude has never driven a sxs. 😂
lol
Think 700 and 100 are same frame just bigger vroom vroom
No center console.
