$150/ft2 starting price for this kind of framing screams you are quite heavy on the overhead. Take the overhead out and that rate will be more than 50% lower as a starting rate per ft2.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! Our pricing includes both framing and finishing to ensure quality results. While overhead costs are a factor, they enable us to maintain high standards and provide excellent service. We appreciate your feedback and are always looking for ways to optimize our pricing while maintaining our commitment to quality.
Lotta rambling about ranges bro… Better information would be regional Breakdown on size & how to separate Living space from garage space & how It’s taxed in a state like MI. Also Barndo With 6” slab compared to dig basement & footing with poured walls… basement & garage space is not taxed in MI.
Thanks for the feedback! I appreciate your suggestions. A regional breakdown, especially focusing on specifics like separating living space from garage space and tax implications in states like Michigan, would definitely be useful. I'll make sure to cover those points in future videos.
@@FBiBuildings1958 never would I ever pay over 150$ a sqft for a metal building. In my area 150$ a sqft is a custom built brick home. It’s pure stupidity to buy a building that you know will never ever appreciate in value. Why would someone pay over 150$ a square foot for a barndo ? I thought the point of these things were to save money on building a home.
@@livinginthe80z39 While barndominiums can offer cost savings compared to traditional homes, the overall price depends on several factors-like the size of the build, materials, customizations, and local labor costs. In many cases, people choose barndos for their durability, open floor plans, and the flexibility to combine living space with storage or work areas, which may not always be the cheapest option but offers long-term value and functionality. Every project is unique, so the cost can vary!
