    John Kavanaugh really deserves a lot of credit for bringing Conor back in this fight. Panic was beginning to set in on Conor as history seemed to be repeating itself, but John talked him back in the corner, telling him to just relax and to simply catch and slip the barrage of light punches from Diaz, that the punches were just slaps, not to panic. It was like a light flipped on in Conor’s head there and he calmed down, went back out and had a new burst of energy.

      Travis Poole If you actually read my comment I note that the UFC is still the premier organisation and I never argued otherwise but if you dismiss Bellator as having washed up fighters and old fighters that are no good anymore you know very little about MMA for example Michael Venom Page is in Bellator and a great deal of UFC stars came from Bellator not to mention Rory McDonald moved there and he’s definitely not past his prime.

On their first fight, he got submitted within 2 rounds, but on their 2nd, he wrecked Nate for 2 rounds straight and round 4 because he learned a valuable lesson to save his stamina and simplify his moves. I think he'd done the same against Khabib, not to mention he scored a 10-9 in round 3. Not saying he'd be the guaranteed winner, but it could go either way this time, if Conor wouldn't win, it'd be soooo much closer than the previous one

    Joe Rogan was conspicuously quiet in that fight while Conor was doing well. Then when Diaz started to take over Rogan came in with his familiar "OHHH!!" "HE HURT 'EM!!". I believe that's (the only reason) why some people thought diaz won. Conor lost two rounds. But he DEFINITIVELY won three, and i think scored a 10-8 in one of them. Conor was owning Diaz in begining and then Nate's crazy gas paid off as he started to brutalize conor. It was even until the last round when Conor idk what came to his head. He was like a man from dead. From zero gas he was hitting Nate with crazy punches. He was like hungry. He was obviously tired but nvr stopped hitting Nate with those left hands. Both these guys have everything if their life's. It's really nice and interesting to see guys like Nate Conor and tony fighting like their lives depends on it

      I think that people were influenced in how when Diaz was in the ascendancy it was reminiscent of the moments before Nate finished him in the first fight. But when Conor loses rounds it looks bad because of how tired/shaky he looks- when you look at the amount of damage inflicted it's never in the 10-8 category.

    • @HanginWitLucid
      @HanginWitLucid 6 лет назад +20

      Matthew Eyre Exactly, Conor was never truly hurt, just stunned or wobbled from strikes while exhausted. He was constantly striking back and moving to the center to avoid being cornered and swarmed.

      Roy Nelson There was no barely, Conor won decisively. Nate only won the first time because Conor had to put on too much weight too fast. He clearly showed that that 1st fight was a fluke.
