After blowing the seals in the first iteration of the turbo rotary ATV, we replaced the smaller VZ21 turbocharger with a larger GT15 turbo. We then sent it off to G-Pop Shop to be professionally balanced and machined for carbon seals to prevent oil from being sucked past the journal bearings. This will help us avoid drawing oil into our rotary engine and will make the setup much more reliable! We installed an oil pressure regulator to prevent us from pushing oil past the turbo seals, and so far it's very reliable.

You oil pump solution is a little elaborate,I have turbo'd a number of motorcycles when doing an external oil system I use an electric fuel pump (7psi rotary/holley style) use thin oil (0W10) and a pit bike oil cooler and just send it around..I have done about 5 bikes in the last 20 years no failures yet...Ps be sure to vent your system.

Hey guys, that engine has such an awesome sound. I live in Australia and can't find one of them anywhere. I've found that Sachs also made a 606 version of these engines with 120hp... they look the same as your one only bigger, they had them on old snowmobiles I think. Keep up the cool builds.

I had a chance to go to a estate sale of a local who raced for Arctic cat from 72 to 86. There were 2 of the 303 sleds complete in showroom condition and one of the 606 panthers in showroom condition. There was so much NOS race parts and like 10 vintage racing suits. I left with 2 of the 440 race sleds out of the 50+ that were sold that day.

Nice, interesting biuld but PLEASE get a belt/ clutch guard on that thing! If you have ever seen a belt or clutch explode at 6500 or any rpm you would not even think about running without a guard. Not to mention of your foot slips into the belt or your pant leg gets caught.
I have been around snowmobiles for a very long time and seen first hand what happens when those clutches and or belts go boom, it aint pretty!!
Looks pretty cool. I have a Turbocharged TaoTao 110 Pitbike I used a VZ21 Turbocharger. I made some videos of it in the past. I'll make a new video of a run down of it.

Stretch out that final drive. You have more than enough power to get to the current top speed/redline. I'm sure it can probably do double what it is.

Awesome guys proper. Now the regulator return works like the turbo return that's why your getting 50 but otherwise beautiful. The rear brake looks like a scooter unit if not I'm sure you can get one locally for dirt and use it until the new stuff gets here.

You definitely need a EFI kit with tuneable ECU or blow through carburettor, the fuel hitting the impeller will negatively effect turbo performance and give poor atomisation of the fuel.
@sourand jaded yes I know, personally I wouldn’t have gone any forced induction route I would rather restore the sachs to its original condition but these are young lads with a RUclips channel so that ain’t going to happen, may as well give them advice on getting it running correctly.

I turbo charged my 200cc 4 stroke when I go for a test run it’s shuts off on me when I accelerate does someone know why this happens
You shouldn't be running a airfilter. screen stack only that airfilter is not cfm rated.

Y'all need to find somewhere that you can actually go run this thing get an actual test run out of it get it pulled up build some boost see if it's going to handle it your 50 yard putt turn around and another 50 yard put back doesn't show us that it actually runs worth of crap
