    Good video! The humps are irrelevant if using oem parts now because you can install the pads on any direction on either side. I found out when I changed the front brakes recently.

    So what would happen if the line wasn’t installed like that?

      If it’s over tightened I think you would be at risk of a leak.

    Do you have to bleed both sides if you are only replacing one caliper?

    • @Lupinsx
      @Lupinsx  5 месяцев назад

      If your only doing one caliper and you didn’t loose a ton of fluid during the swap process. bleeding the one side is normally fine. If you find the brakes feel spongy then doing both side couldn’t hurt. Thanks for watching

    Is this process exactly the same for a 2015 F-150 2wd.

      The overall process will be the same. I’m not sure if the rotors come off the same way but I’m thinking they do. Easy way to tell is if your new rotors are open in the middle then they are the same. If the new rotors has a hub and bearings race then no. I have another that is for a 2wd ford ranger/trailer that explains how to deal with the other style. How to Repack and service Trailer Wheel Bearings like a pro!"

      @@Lupinsx I don't. I saved you video for when I need to change my brakes again. Plan on doing it myself. The dealer tried to pull a fast one on me last time. To make a long story short the crooks told me my rotor was cracked. When my buddy double checked with me there were no cracks. I took the rotors to O'Reilly Auto who checked them and stated they were fine. They turned the rotors for $25.00 if my memory is right. The brake job cost me around 90.00 vs $600.00 at the Ford dealership who no longer touches my truck. I now try to do things myself. Can't trust any damn one any more.

      @@user-nd8le9px4g I totally understand I worked for Ford for 25 years. I just work for myself now. It’s sad that people
      Can’t be honest. I treat all my customers cars as if they were my own and am more than happy to show them and explain things to them rather than just making things up and billing them. When you get around to doing your brakes and if you get hung up. Just shoot me a message I’m sure I can walk you through whatever your up against.
