I'm aware of some recording issues this episode. Sadly Shadowplay did a big we fart and didn't record it well. I would rather upload it with slight issues than scrap the whole thing or start over and ruin my initial impressions. But it's fixed in every episode after this so thank you for your patience with this one :D I'm SO excited for this series

The lore is pretty interesting there is some stuff about the doom slayer being immortal and invulnerable obviously to balance the game they make it so you can die though
I'm glad it's not just me, this game does not pick up where the last one left off so all the gaps are a bit confusing, like now being able to go to the sentinels homeland, seems to me that could have been explained a little better.
@@lionmane3131 Yeah, it's, imo, one of the kind of bad points of the game. You're tossed in with no context at all. Even the lore entries don't help much, either.
Other weak points, to me, include the complete lack of damage that normal melee and the flame belch do.

Doom eternal is such an amazing game that really makes you feel like an unstoppable force of nature, you could get lost in the game and truly feel like you *are* the main character.

I Love this attention to detail: In doom 2016, doom guy punches the uac drone to get a mod, But in that same game he saves vega, And now that the drones are from vega, he waits for the drone to actually release the package instead of punching it.

I personally enjoy hearing him read the lore pages. Normally when he'd come across them, he'd just leave it for us to read. So having him actually want to read it is great. Plus, this is the kind of game where having it unedited, even if it's for the non-actiony parts

Hey Jack, helpful tip here: set enemies on fire and then chainsaw them. You’ll get the armor from the Flame Belch and the ammo from the chainsaw when you kill them. Eventually you’ll get upgrades that allow you to get more health or armor from certain actions, but you can stack them on top of each other to get health, armor, and ammo efficiently.

It was just the gameplay freezing, but the Jack-a-Cam wasn't, so it was a recording issue.
the demons only attack doomslayer out of fight or flight response. and they don't get the flight option
