So you are right, flashpoint didn't happen in post crisis timeline but even if it did happen, the situation of creating would have been different and not zoom , maybe henry died by an accident in post crisis timeline and barry created flashpoint anyway but not due to zoom since we do know henry still died in post crisis timeline but not by zooms hand
@@quantommy OG Barry was always season 9 Barry. Here my theory on how time loop works and how this still fits Eobard story from season 1: The timeline never changed. Everything that happened was supposed to happened. It makes sense! It slightly different than season 1 flashback but I’m letting that slide because that was on Earth 1! (Everyone else should think this too. Or not. I’m not the boss of you.) this is Earth Prime version of that night. But it still fits. In fact it fits with what eobard told us back in season 1: Eobard: “Until I learned your secret. I learned your name. Barry Allen. And finally, I knew how to defeat you once and for all. Travel back in time, kill you as a child. Wipe you from the face of the earth. But then you, future you, that is, followed me back, and we fought. We both landed some pretty solid shots. And then you, future you, got your younger self out of there. I was so mad. But then I thought... what if you were to suffer a tragedy? What if you were to suffer something so horrible, so traumatic that your child self could never recover? Then you would not become The Flash. And so I stab your mother in the heart, and I was free. Finally able to return to a future without The Flash, only to realize that in traveling back I'd lost my way home. Lost my ability to harness the speed force. And without it, I was stuck here. Stranded in this time, unable to return to my own. And the only way back was The Flash. But The Flash was gone, and so I created him.” Then when eobard figure out killing barry’mom it’s a fixed point Everything he does was already supposed to happened. Which break him. But The universe or speedforce couldn’t let him know that. Which is why this happen: 8:02 some unknown entity(No idea yet possibly cobalt blue or the negative speed force?) had to make sure Eobard thinks he changed the past. So it’s teleport Barry away to somewhere( I have no idea. I’m literally typing this just right after it released. so part 2-4 haven’t came yet.) But from Eobard perspective it look like as if the flash vanished from existence. This would give him the motivation to create the flash. Thus cementing his role for season 1. What do you think?
I would be worried if Future Flash wasnt fast enough to catch up to this version of Thawne who is significantly slower than the other times Barry fought him lmao
I know they didn't think about this a decade ago. But i have an interesting theory. As flash got faster his lightning changed. But every time we see the night of noras death, his lightning is yellow like when he first got his powers. However speedsters have shown they can change their color especially when they're slowing down. So long story short, Barry's out of character yellow, is actually showing how much S9 barry is holding back to make sure the timeline stays intact. A great detail they may or may not have accounted for. Which is awesome
@@alvininthechipmonks, that’s actually a really good point?!😱🤔⚡️ I’ve followed “The Flash” since even before the Season 1, all the way back since Barrys very First Appearance in the Backdoor Pilot Episodes way back in 2013 during the Second Season of “Arrow”, (S02E08 “The Scientist” and S02E09 “Three Ghosts”), and obviously I’ve been a Loyal & Dedicated Fan/Follower of “The Flash” since the very beginning, (so since way back in 2014, starting with the Official Series/Season Premiere on October 7th, S01E01, titled “Pilot”), without missing a single Episode or Crossover Episode/ Event since then until the Official Finale 9 Years later with the Official Final Episode of “The Flash”, (S09E13, titled “A New World, Part 4” on May 24th 2023), and I’ve actually never really given the color-change in Barry’s lightning throughout these 9 Years/Seasons of “The Flash” and throughout the various “Arrowverse”-crossovers over the Years any serious thoughts if I’m being honest?😅🤔🤦♂️🫣⚡️ But I have to admit that your reasoning makes perfect sense now when I really think about it?😅🤔🤦♂️⚡️
Originally Future Flash was fighting Eobard during the original COIE event (that we never got to see) and RF ran to kill young Barry, with Future Flash running after him to stop it. We see them both coming out of a portal when we first saw "The Night". This time, Eobard is already in the year 2000 and he and Barry don't come out of a portal. "The Night" ended up happening the same way, and I believe this is a time remnant of Eobard who appeared in the year 2000 without involving the Future Flash he knew, acting as an automaton to continue the course of events. Remember, Eobard knows a different family Barry had (Dawn was the daughter he knew, for instance). He thought he was speaking to *his* Flash (Future Flash from S1) but he was talking to our Barry, the version he created who got the Speed Force a decade earlier.
@@fiqz7017 Technically it could. I'd love to see the events originally leading to "the night" *but* I think Wallace is trying to make this the definitive way it went down... which is technically wrong but he's retconning it. My post is trying to fix what he's doing so it still works with the original canon. Nothing on onscreen (so far) disproves this so it's a way to reconcile the original intent of "The night" with Wallace's latest addition to the lore. :)
@Matias that's a good way to put it, but yeah. Eobard changed the timeline and it became the definitive timeline, cemented thanks to him wishing it so when Barry and the others were recreating the multiverse at the end of Crisis. **Edited because the original way I wrote it made it seem like Thawne helped wish the new multiverse in and not Barry, haha
@ShinySephiroth the thing is, our Barry still hasn't closed the loop. S9 Barry as can be seen from the new clip, he comes from the window while Thawne is fighting someone else which as also seen is still the Flash, but that's not our Barry, you can clearly see when our Barry stops to tell the other Barry not to move, that their is still fighting going on, Flash is still fighting the Reverse Flash but it's not our Barry doing it, and I doubt if our Barry was fighting Thawne and he just left the fight to do something else, why would Thawne keep running in circles and fighting himself, which means our Barry still hasn't been the one to fight Reverse Flash that night, or the one who takes himself out of the house, he only told himself not to come out. So it's still Og Barry fighting Thawne, where did he come from and how he knew, because in his timeline his parents are both alive and he still becomes the Flash, so who knows
@@mad_titanthanos he told him that Thawne could just go back to his own timeline and be the hero he wanted to be and forget about Barry. But of course he chose to try and kill Barry instead 🙄
@@mad_titanthanos barry talked to him face to face before they went to fight their final fight. Barry warned him that if he did what wanted to do, he would lose everything
8:00 - the moment Barry truly defeated Eobard. You could see the realization of that in RF eyes. Never even in his wildest dreams he could've imagined Barry being grateful to him for smth. And Barry defeated him not by beating the shit out of him, not by using some Speed Force Forces, but by showing his humanity and telling the truth. He finally accepted tjis night as the pivotal point in his life and he finally accepted what Eobard did to him.
Can we appreciate Matt Letscher a little more? That's entirely down to his acting. His facial expressions were on point since his first appearance. He should've been the RF not wellsobard
@@Velocity_YT No hate to Matt Letchster, but I liked Tom cavanagh better. He made the reverse flash for the viewers. The true hate, the genuine disgust.. not just anger.
So There were 6 Barry's there in that exact timeline? The kid Barry, the one with Nora, the one who fought Thawne, the one who knocked out Thawne to create Flashpoint, the one who let Thawne kill his mother to restore Flashpoint and finally our new timeline Barry...
The Barry who stopped Thawne was erased, so technically only like 5 then, but in the 9x10 scene it’s only s9 barry and s1 barry there in the scene, s3 barry when he lets Thawne kill Nora isn’t there and s5 barry would’ve left the timeline to chase after Nora. And of course Kid barry was ran out of the room so he was Saved.
Technically only 4 were in the house the flashpoint one was too tired to run so reverse flash bought him home and the one with nora didnt go inside and was earlier in the night by a good half hour or so probably
Matt Letscher as reverse Flash is soo underrated! I love Tom Cavanagh as Harry wells, but Matt Letscher's reverse flash is much more scary and intimidating in my opinion. Idk if this is unpopular, but i prefered Matt's RF since the very beginning.
Tom was way more intimidating and cold. Matt was more of the guy who wanted to ruin Barry’s life. Both have both but more of that for each of them, key aspects of the character. Kinda like how the joker is differently represented by different actors yet still true
Matt is the definitive Reverse Flash in my eyes. After season 1 with Tom's RF he ruined the charactor in future seasons in my opinion. Plus, with Tom playing 30 different versions of Wells it got old really quick
Ever since their conversation in season 2 when Barry had him locked up, I knew I preferred Matt’s version. Felt more comic accurate and you could feel both the hatred and jealousy. He really nails the petty vibe and the digs at Barry to trigger him.
"There's nothing that Thawne can do now but did what he had done earlier, assuming Harrison Wells's identity and creating the particle accelerator which will make Barry the hero he is supposed to be."
Something directors never think about. I had the same thought playing Spider-Man 2 when one of the boss fights is outside Peter's house and he's loudly and openly shouting identifying things in the middle of his damn neighbourhood
When Eobard raced off to kill young Barry, I think I know why Barry didn't immediately race after Eobard. I think there's multiple reasons. He's thinking over the events that are about to unfold. He's also giving Eobard a head start because he doesn't want this Eobard to know just how fast the Flash truly is.
I think everyone has this whole situation of events wrong. The first scene we see here where s9 Barry is talking to RF is before he goes through a portal to go back in time. He then goes through the portal after they have talked to each other and that's where original future Barry who never lost his mom catches up to him in the speedforce and they both go through the portal to the past together. S9 Barry only comes to tell s1 Barry to not interfere, that's all s9 Barry does since during that scene, we can still see flashes of light behind s9 Barry meaning the og future barry and RF were still fighting.
There is something confusing about this barry is so much faster than thawne yet thawne and him are equal in speed here in the battle maybe barry was holding back I don't know.
It wasn’t OG Barry fighting Thawne in this. It was season 9 Barry. He probably just made a speed duplicate to fight him while he saved himself as a kid. OG Barry chased Thawne through a portal in the first original flash back to this night. But this Thawne and Barry just started running to the house after talking
The main cause being Crisis on Infinite Earths occurring in 2019 instead of 2024. As you said, the original Barry chased Thawne through a time portal (which was proved from the newspaper that Flash and Reverse-Flash fought and vanished in an "explosion" of light, said explosion which is actually the same time portal you said). And don't forget this happened on Earth-1, to say the original multiverse. Here, in 9x10, this is Earth-Prime, the new multiverse and since Crisis occurred in 2019 instead of 2024, a lot of things have changed, starting by the Crisis' aftermath. Thawne simply went back to 2000 instead of being chased by Barry and both emerging from 2024.
Assuming he has his entire speed at this point. If that's the case how tf did this slow Eobard knock him out by running through him??? Keep in mind season 7 Eobard who was much faster was frozen to Barry. Barry should've both seen and heard Eobard coming, even if he's close he would practically be frozen if Barry acted
@@ulysses4989 barry lets it happen, he probably created a speed mirage to that is fihgting thawne, and the real him is there to wave no to the older season's barry while saving young one
He’s much faster. He either stopped completely and did a flash-time with S1 Barry, or he created a speed mirage to tell S1 Barry not to save Nora. Either way, he clearly wasn’t using all his power against the Reverse Flash.
@@KITKATPRODUCTIONidk how he gets erased but i think he comes from the og timeline which is why in 1x17 we see the flash and rf come out of a portal which is them coming from the og timeline
@@KITKATPRODUCTIONThe Barry we see from the future in season one is the variant from the original timeline where he became the flash in 2024, this Barry saved his kid self but while Eobard aka reverse flash is left in the house he ends up killing Barry’s mother which in essence erases the Barry he was even fighting. Due to this he ends up having to create the flash which ultimately rewrote the timeline, this being the case because the flash still does come to be but the events to how it happened are different. So now the flash we saw in season one is now replaced with our season 9 version aka the one we’ve been following since Eobard initially changed the timeline but killing his mother.
@@thefootie1283this is correct but later in season 9 this isn’t the case because Eobard killing his mother basically made it so the original or og timeline no longer exist, so the Eobard we see is somehow a remnant of said original timeline probably created to make sure all events play out. This also makes Barry’s mother’s death a fixed point now because that night is the only thing keeping the timeline together since crisis happened.
@@spadesofpaintstudios1719 so it means we already losted our main og Barry and the barry we're seeing from s1 is actually made by thawne in new timeline....I got it but I wish we would be able to see at least an episode of our og Barry from the main timeline that shows how he got his powers, who trained him, how he saved that crowd which was meant to save by Thawne, how it all started etc.
I just realized, Why Thawne lost his powers after killing barry's mother, thawne was needed to teach barry to be the flash. and that was thawnes punishment for killing barry's mother. to watch barry grow up and eventually teach him to be the flash. Fate has a sick and twisted sense of humor. Also loved the little detail that barry gave thawne a head start lmao
Since S1 actually. Thawne instantly realized that if Barry never became Flash, then in turn he would have never become Reverse-Flash. The biggest hint of his plan and that realization is that he was wearing the same clothes that Harrison Wells wore in 2000.
in S1 it explained that eobard had to make Flash become the flash earlier than normal in order to return home, Basically he caused a canon event himself
Barry was always destined to be the Flash but Thawne killing his mother upset the balance of things and caused him to be stuck in the past which is why he had to speed things up for Barry to become The Flash sooner than later so that he may get home.
You know, the writing on this show has been hit-or-miss at times. But I unabashedly love how they framed Thawne's ultimate defeat. When Barry tells him "'ll always grateful, Eobard." After so many years, so much effort, so much hatred dedicated entirely to hurting the Flash, only to achieve the literal opposite of his intentions. There really is no greater failure than this.
At 6:45 Eobard suddenly realizes that Nora's death is a fixed point that cannot be undone yet he is so blinded by his rage towards Barry that he refuses to accept the fact that Barry did try to warn him. On a side note: We all saw how Flashpoint turned out, what the hell is Barry thinking in vaguely warning Eobard? He's lucky that Thawne didn't heed his warning, otherwise he might have caused another type of Flashpoint. Now that I think about it, the timeline would have reverted to its original state where Nora was never killed, and Barry became The Flash when he was originally meant to as Thawne accelerated Barry's origins much sooner. The entire series would be wiped out had Thawne had a change of heart.
The entire series would be wiped out in favor of the timeline we didn't really got to see, the OG timeline that had the crisis of 2024. It would be actually full circle, but the way it came to be works great too. As it doesn't really break the timeline, maybe Flash was always supposed to warn Eobard before, we don't know. The only thing we know is that the prelude to Nora Allen being killed used to be 2024's Crisis, so it was a more epic and climatic fight.
He basically got retconned so things would come full circle, which makes sense. His life wouldn't happen as it should if our Barry didn't become that future Flash from S1. As that one got protected until he wasn't necessary.
That's the only logical way to say it really, because before Crisis, there's no way in hell he could've even considered becoming OG Barry because it simply doesn't make sense
It’s a good thing Zoom didn’t notice there were like 2 other Barry’s in the room during that fight he might have suspected he failed his mission of killing kid Barry
@@a3sjustaphil397 In the comics, Professor Zoom, the Reverse Flash = Eobard Thawne and Zoom = Hunter Zolomon. In the show, Reverse Flash = Eobard Thawne and Zoom = Hunter Zolomon.
Anyone noticed that not only did he give reverse flasher head start, but his lightning colour that was orange went down to yellow which is the same colour as it was in the first season in order to match Thorne but not surpass him. We know that Barry's orange lightning is a result of his power up and the reason why he can basically move it ridiculously higher speeds that he could during the season 1. I'm Barry because the lightning colours of speeds just can change in accordance to how fast they move like our zooms lightning colour. Once he moved to the high enough speed Eid with the velocity boost went to blue
OG Barry gained powers in 2020 (6/7th season) so naturally he would be the Flash longer = more expierienced, faster etc. that's why he's faster I think than OG Barry who had yellow lightning
It seems to me it is just reused footage. Barry has orange lightning now. The fact that it is yellow when he is fighting Thawne in his home is because of reused footage from Season 1 and laziness of editing the colour from yellow to orange. The lightning colour meanings are pretty bullshit as it doesn't make any sense that The Rival and Black Flash both have Red Lightning (and thus Negative Speed Force?).
Barry isn't trying to stop Thorne his just there to fight for one. Get his past self out of there and let everything else play out how it's supposed to, which means he limited his speed to match. Thorne's since his faster than this version of Thorne and it origin lightning just means it's a speedster has like a very strong connection to the speed force, granting them greater speed
@@solarwindyou say his color of the lighting changes bc he slows down for thawne No the colors stays the same no matter how fast he runs he still has a greater connection to the speedforxe due to his experience so the lighting is orange even when he runs not that fast he could run
I like the version without Flashpoint. Because this version shows Thawne looking a way to stay alive with is own existince, in the events of Legends of Tomorrow. Without Flashpoint, everything makes sense with the two Flash's in the moment of Nora's death.
@@MarcusPearl yep. But Flash point is also a set point in the Flash storyline....it must happen. At some point the Flash always travels back to try save his mother.
When you realised this makes Reverse Flash and Barry's 1st fight make so much more sense... "We've been at this a long time, you and I..." (You have always been...) "It was your destiny to lose to me Flash" (You win, I can't stop you.) "Just as it was your mother's destiny... to die that night" (Killing your mother... it's a fixed point!)
I love how Henry and Nora never notice two people standing in the middle of the street watching them, one of which having a resemblance to Nora's father.
It’s way more fucked up the way she died since Barry created flashpoint. She’s about to die, then gets saved, just to have two people vanish in front of her and die anyways.
It's interesting to see it all pieced together like this because when you think about it, this event in It's entirety is the continuous loop that Eobard & Barry are a part of. After watching the show since the very first season, it's very satisfying to see this.
This is one of the best scenes ever of the Flash. Of course, the first 2 seasons were the best but this episode really reminded us of why this show was so great.
Eobard create his own hell, he is punished and trapped for eternity. Create plans again and again, for finally comeback to the beginning of the endless cycle
@@samanthacristinaburgosmera4160 Because the original became Flash in 2020 not 2014, came from an universe where he lived a happy life with both of his parents and time travel to the night in the year 2000 during the Crisis of 2024 while fighting Reverse Flash
@reckasorus hound Yeah, OG 2024 Barry couldn't beat Eobard but S2 Barry was destroying him. S9 2024 Barry got so fast that he even have Eobard a head start and *still* caught up to him before he got to Barry's house 😆
Would have loved it even more if they gave us a whole episode of og barry running back in time to stop thawne from killing his younger self and how he felt when he realised thawne took out his anger on his mum. That would be fire! The episode was great
At one point there was an original flash and reverse flash, but in the end it becomes a paradox where one can’t exist without the other, unless one of them stops the loop. But as we’ve seen if Barry stop RF from killing his mom it has major effects on the speed force, and with Barry trying to convince thawne to not go through with it as he will lose everything well, thawne will never back down. So this sequence will always play out My personal argument would be how does this timeline effect the “original multiverse” to the one going on now Also why does everyone think this “new” multiverse just started now when we saw Oli become the Spector and reset the multiverse with random DC series/movies in the mix Edit: the original flash didn’t have thawn to make the flash, it was later on the “real” HR had made the partial accelerator which where the “original” flash was born, the original thawn was obsessed with the idea of him centuries later, but went mental when he realised he wasn’t meant to be the flash but his reverse which started the loop
We could theorize that the OG Timeline Oliver and Black Canary were full together alongside with Captain Cold and Heatwave and the The Hawks in COIE. However we could assume that RF basically created a Reverse Flashpoint that became a fixed point because of his actions with caused the Arrowverse to be the way that it is: The CW's Version of an Elseworld MCU
In a sad but cool way we finally arrive at the 2nd variation of events that started it all. All different moments of different Flash coming back to this night. They all precognitively come fitting together from the brief tid-bits of episodes we seen in various seasons.
There are only a few things that can make me cry genuinely. That flash scene when he comes back in season 1 to say he’s ok to his mom before she dies in his arms, that thing was perfectly made.
Thawn said he and berry had been fighting for centuries. Yet I don't remember berry traveling that much to the distance future to battle Thawn. We never actually saw the moment Thawn first meets the flash and not know anything about him

It’s crazy that 5 different Barry’s are all there at one point that night either before the fight happens or during, it shows how much he was back and forth with his ability’s weather he should save her or not and finally being the man that saves himself and lets hims mother die because he knows the consequences
I’ve waited 9 years, half of which were excruciating, to finally see the last fight. For nine years I assumed Barry would’ve clocked Thawne the hell out of consciousness, or beat him half to death, but instead got this. And it’s beautiful. Barry telling Thawne that this night didn’t break him, then seeing Thawne tear up out of rage and confusion. Reminds me of The Help when Abileen tells Hilly off and she starts to tear up. “You a Godless woman” and “Today brought me the peace I’ve been looking for ever since, and I have you to thank for that, Eobard” resonate at a high level. If you can’t kill them, break them with words. 🤌

It's funny to read that some people have already decided that og Barry never existed and that it was our s9 Barry all along
Idk how they could say he never existed if RF is there 🤣 idk if he was there that night but he definitely existed
The only Flash that erased is the flash flashpoint remnant.
OG Barry is the one fighting Thawne and saved Kid Barry. S9 Barry is just there to stop S1 Barry from saving their mom.
@@quantommy no the one fighting Thawne is S9 Barry, i think.
@@quantommy OG Barry was always season 9 Barry.
Here my theory on how time loop works and how this still fits Eobard story from season 1:
The timeline never changed. Everything that happened was supposed to happened. It makes sense! It slightly different than season 1 flashback but I’m letting that slide because that was on Earth 1! (Everyone else should think this too. Or not. I’m not the boss of you.) this is Earth Prime version of that night. But it still fits. In fact it fits with what eobard told us back in season 1:
Eobard: “Until I learned your secret.
But The Flash was gone, and so I created him.”
Then when eobard figure out killing barry’mom it’s a fixed point Everything he does was already supposed to happened. Which break him.
But The universe or speedforce couldn’t let him know that.
Which is why this happen: 8:02
some unknown entity(No idea yet possibly cobalt blue or the negative speed force?) had to make sure Eobard thinks he changed the past. So it’s teleport Barry away to somewhere( I have no idea. I’m literally typing this just right after it released. so part 2-4 haven’t came yet.)
But from Eobard perspective it look like as if the flash vanished from existence. This would give him the motivation to create the flash. Thus cementing his role for season 1. What do you think?
The lead that he gave Reverse Flash was insane, then in the next clip, he's right behind him. Shows how much faster Barry got.
That’s old reused scenes
season 9 barry held back so much lol, that's why his lightning was yellow
@@alvininthechipmonks, that’s actually a really good point?!😱🤔⚡️
I’ve followed “The Flash” since even before the Season 1, all the way back since Barrys very First Appearance in the Backdoor Pilot Episodes way back in 2013 during the Second Season of “Arrow”, (S02E08 “The Scientist” and S02E09 “Three Ghosts”), and obviously I’ve been a Loyal & Dedicated Fan/Follower of “The Flash” since the very beginning, (so since way back in 2014, starting with the Official Series/Season Premiere on October 7th, S01E01, titled “Pilot”), without missing a single Episode or Crossover Episode/ Event since then until the Official Finale 9 Years later with the Official Final Episode of “The Flash”, (S09E13, titled “A New World, Part 4” on May 24th 2023), and I’ve actually never really given the color-change in Barry’s lightning throughout these 9 Years/Seasons of “The Flash” and throughout the various “Arrowverse”-crossovers over the Years any serious thoughts if I’m being honest?😅🤔🤦♂️🫣⚡️
But I have to admit that your reasoning makes perfect sense now when I really think about it?😅🤔🤦♂️⚡️
Originally Future Flash was fighting Eobard during the original COIE event (that we never got to see) and RF ran to kill young Barry, with Future Flash running after him to stop it.
So basically a spin off of the original flash can still happen. The one "the night" RF actually coming from?
@@fiqz7017 Technically it could. I'd love to see the events originally leading to "the night" *but* I think Wallace is trying to make this the definitive way it went down... which is technically wrong but he's retconning it. My post is trying to fix what he's doing so it still works with the original canon. Nothing on onscreen (so far) disproves this so it's a way to reconcile the original intent of "The night" with Wallace's latest addition to the lore. :)
All the Flash Series is a flashpoint that become canon?
Now thawne is stuck in an endless cycle of his own creation. Barry tried to warn him¯\_(ツ)_/¯
But as always, he wouldn't listen 🤷♂️🤦♂️

The Barry who stopped Thawne was erased, so technically only like 5 then, but in the 9x10 scene it’s only s9 barry and s1 barry there in the scene, s3 barry when he lets Thawne kill Nora isn’t there and s5 barry would’ve left the timeline to chase after Nora.
Matt was way more consistent. Toms season 1 appearance will always be the best but it got worse each season. Matt’s was always good throughout.
When it comes to the scheming villain, I feel like Cavanagh has an edge. When it comes to the rage and jealousy however, Letscher wins
Ever since their conversation in season 2 when Barry had him locked up, I knew I preferred Matt’s version. Felt more comic accurate and you could feel both the hatred and jealousy. He really nails the petty vibe and the digs at Barry to trigger him.

I was gonna say, the lightning colour was slightly different before and during the fight
@@maabat8142they didn’t redo the cgi for the old scenes and since they use a new vfx studio then they did back then the lightning was not consistent
@@Danzii well no , no proof of any portals in this
There is something confusing about this barry is so much faster than thawne yet thawne and him are equal in speed here in the battle maybe barry was holding back I don't know.
Love how Barry gave him a head start, lol
not really, barry probbaly paused a bit and be like " is this really it?, is this that momment"

Rest in peace original timeline flash, did not deserve to be erased from existence and replaces by a alternate timeline
Bro can you explain how does og barry erased and who was he i didn't understand in the show
@@KITKATPRODUCTIONidk how he gets erased but i think he comes from the og timeline which is why in 1x17 we see the flash and rf come out of a portal which is them coming from the og timeline
I waited for eternity for them to explain this finally at last
I just realized, Why Thawne lost his powers after killing barry's mother, thawne was needed to teach barry to be the flash. and that was thawnes punishment for killing barry's mother. to watch barry grow up and eventually teach him to be the flash.
Well that and now that crisis exist that pretty much forced that loo to happen
in S1 it explained that eobard had to make Flash become the flash earlier than normal in order to return home, Basically he caused a canon event himself
Barry was always destined to be the Flash but Thawne killing his mother upset the balance of things and caused him to be stuck in the past which is why he had to speed things up for Barry to become The Flash sooner than later so that he may get home.
Nice way to tie the loose end. This way all of Flash back in time (season 1, flashpoint) extracurricular is actually supposed to happen.
No Barry warning is to laugh eobard for I already warning you.

Him giving him a head start has nothing to do with his speed, that was not at all the point of that moment
So this sequence will always play out
My personal argument would be how does this timeline effect the “original multiverse” to the one going on now
Also why does everyone think this “new” multiverse just started now when we saw Oli become the Spector and reset the multiverse with random DC series/movies in the mix
Edit: the original flash didn’t have thawn to make the flash, it was later on the “real” HR had made the partial accelerator which where the “original” flash was born, the original thawn was obsessed with the idea of him centuries later, but went mental when he realised he wasn’t meant to be the flash but his reverse which started the loop
This honestly gives a full story of that night in a single video. This is absolutely incredible great job!
I honestly got a bit tired of every season trying to find a reason to come back to this day, but after season 9 I can’t help but love it.
In a sad but cool way we finally arrive at the 2nd variation of events that started it all. All different moments of different Flash coming back to this night. They all precognitively come fitting together from the brief tid-bits of episodes we seen in various seasons.
Actually, you'd think Barry got erased. But cobalt blue took him.
This is what I don't understand. How are they going to end the show with a whole comic villain he's definitely going to be wasted
There are only a few things that can make me cry genuinely. That flash scene when he comes back in season 1 to say he’s ok to his mom before she dies in his arms, that thing was perfectly made.
Now this comes in full circle😮
No it’s not.
Thawn said he and berry had been fighting for centuries. Yet I don't remember berry traveling that much to the distance future to battle Thawn. We never actually saw the moment Thawn first meets the flash and not know anything about him
Because the flash RF is referring to is the OG flash not our flash
Finally! This is what I am waiting for!
The chaos that lead to one the most powerful beings in the Arrowverse
You forgot the Barry who revealed himself to his mom when she was dying
thats s3 flashpoint barry then he gets erased by his future s3 self and nora gets killed at 4:45 u can see
@@trickzwhtv No that's S1 Barry, you're confusing the two
@@trickzwhtv no, flashpoint Barry saves her, but after flashpoint, when he goes back and let's thawne kill her, he goes in and reveals himself to his mom and says goodbye
Thawne isn't vibrating in the new scenes because it's from the POV of Season 9 Barry who is much faster than the Thawne who killed his mother.
False, writers are just lazy.
@@retriet what does the writers got anything to do with the effects? You should be blaming the vfx artists but if you did you’re still wrong because my comment is a fact
@@OmzigCrist123 I meant Eric Wallace, the show runner. Your claim is false, that guy has no creativity or any skill in show running. He’s lazy, he threw out the vibration effect at the start of season 8 for whatever reason. Barry at the end of season 7 was shown to be much faster than thawne yet thawne still had the vibrations there. So yeah like I said your comment is false.
@@OmzigCrist123Your claim is false.
@@kharmann4369 nah.
Having Barry THANK HIM has got to sting more than any blow Thawne has received in the show
Wow, Barry shows a huge sense of goodness and peace at the end of that. To the point where he says he’s grateful to Thawne. Being able to admit that means he is truly in peace and has finally been able to move past the death of his parents.
Should have included the scene from season 1 finale of Barry talking to his mom at the end of this video
That flash was erased from existence
@@abhinavbhargava978 No, he's the Barry that S9 Barry stopped from saving her
Oh I thought he was the s3 flash that saved his mother and created flashpoint.
I don't think he included the clip because of s9 flash stopping him from seeing his mother.
@@abhinavbhargava978the thing is he actually went to see her after the fact.
The reason why we didn’t see that Scene again because season 9 Barry left the house to talk to RF one last time. Canonically season 1 Barry still talked to her in her dying moments.
Thank you for putting this video together
Just realized, the wine floating from nora's glass was not due to future barry or RF at all. Floating is only ever due to portals opening, and thus the floating of the wine and the water in the fish tank was entirely because of season 1 barry's entrance at the exact same moment
There was floating in s1 when barry first got his powers. Sorry buddy
The floating is because of tachyons
It’s the closure that Barry finally excepts his past nd can move on with his future that is what makes the flash the flash his past present nd outlook to the future he never gave up no matter how hard emotionally or physically it could get
This should have been the final episode tbh
Yes
Definitely. Had I known the finale would have Reverse-Flash NOT BEING the final boss as he deserved and as it should HAVE BEEN, this is how it should have ended...
They really pulled it out this is a phenomenal😢❤ episode
what about the scene where he says "this is not going to make any sense but mom, its me barry, your barry" because in that timeline she dies too
That’s the same Barry that was crying at the door
Which season is that Barry from?
@@canucksrock12 Season 1
Original barry , season 1 barry ,season 2 barry , season 5 barry with original nora (Xs) , and current season 9 barry . Been along fun ride of the flash .⚡️
Original Barry is season 9 Barry.
@@fachriranu1041 No he's not there was always a original barry that had both his mom and dad. Got his powers met iris and had twins named don allen and dawn allen. Now after crisis it season 9 barry that's goes back too save his younger self from thawne . Season 9 is the one that's saves him in the timeline now but originally it was the original barry . Thawne even called nora dawn when he met her in episode 5x8.
@Fachri Ranu Not as far as we know. S1 led us to believe OG Flash was fighting Thawne during *their* COIE and went back in time. The first time we see this night, Eobard and Barry arrive via a time portal from the speed force and Barry's suit is different. Eobard also knows Barry has a daughter named Dawn, but post-Flashpoint/"The Night" it becomes Nora instead. Our Barry became the Flash a decade earlier, too.
@@ShinySephiroth1 The creator didn't know what suit he would have when they were done with the show they didn't think that far ahead . Original thawne found out much about barry life his parents , his kids otherwise he wouldn't have been supirsed by the changes since killing nora which is now a (fixed point) .The show has teased us so much that we might see the original flash but they made it clear now that our current flash (prime flash) has replaced him similar too how current future nora replaces original (XS) nora . There was always the barry with both parents and twins otherwise thawne wouldn't have been in the picture and gave us our prime barry .
@@tybattle123 The creator not knowing the suit is the Doylian explanation, but we have to go in-universe. Either way, my comment was agreeing with yours - OG Barry was replaced by S9 Barry. I'm not sure what you're arguing here because that is what I was saying.
Sir please do not scream outside my house we are trying to sleep
Lol
So the RF that went to 2016 and learned Barry’s identity, is he the OG RF that ended becoming S1 Wells RF? Or was he the RF that gets stoped by S2 Barry?
Well he said why did you let me kill your mom at first I thought he talking about how barry didn't try to stop him but thinking about it maybe just maybe he was talking about flashpoint that at last he let RF kill his mom
It's the OG Thawne
@@SnoozySnacksLegacy Okay and the OG thawne ended up being s1 Thawne. So that night a basically a fixed point in his life too then right? Along with Barry and Nora
They’re the same guy that both reach this point and then branch out depending on the flashpoint timeline or the s1 timeline. So the RF 2016 becomes this Thawne that could either become Flashpoint-Legends-S8 Thawne, or become the S1-8 Wellsobard version
Great compilation... Damn, there were 4 Barrys in this incident at the same time.
Thawne's run at 2:00 is so goofy 😂😂😂
Theres a version in which eobard forgets everything that happened but still gets pushed into the main events that lead him to become reverse flash. He then recreates the event that gave barry his speed steals a suit ,runs back in time at which his suit becomes yellow ( the speed force changes it )runs into the flash gets his ass whooped asking why he is getting his ass kicked looks at his own suit and recognizes he is the big bad.
Is it just me or is that every time a villain screams no out loud you feel bad for them
No
6:15 how am i supposed to get back
Gideon: i dont f**ken know
4:24 my guy was literally like its a canon event
El capítulo que los Fans han esperado desde hace años, por fin se a estrenado, es decepcionante en muchos aspectos, pero lo importante es que finalmente llego.
2:01 I wonder why the editors didn't just use the old closeup running. The new close up running just looks goofy if it's not Grant because most actors don't exaggerate their running like Grant. The other actors just stand straight while Grant leans forward for more realism.
Eric Wallace directed, that's something directing should correct. The way an actor moves, they probably didn't do more takes.
5:36 - Thought it would've been cool to see Barry give his past self a hug in flashtime when he put him down before leaving
I loved, this episode but Matt's unblurred running at 2:00 is just-
2:46 I love how Barry gave Thawne a head start cause he’s faster now 😅
I just realized that thawne probably thought that when Barry disappeared that way he was being erased from the timeline
You have done unimaginable work BRAVO! 👏🏿
6:32 “…and then you stopped me from doing so, and you kept me prisoner just to let me go and do it again! And then come back just to tell me off!! Asshole!!!”
😂😂
This was amazing bro it seem like one full.origin story great job ❤
Honestly this recent episode prob had some of the best writing and acting in recent seasons.
This was a really good way to do this episode. I also think that the past events we've seen whenever Barry goes back in time to see his mother would've been reset post-Crisis.
I'm also surprised people are arguing about whether we see OG Barry from pre-Crisis, the episode shows us that S9 Barry is the one protecting his younger self and the fixed point.
what makes it weird that we saw the s9 suit. But during the fight between them, I saw the OG flash suit which makes it completely different from this time of Barry
Now everything adds up to that night
Ok but can we talk about Eobards running at 1:58?? Bart 2.0😂😂😂
Underrated comment 😂
They dont even have budget to phase speedsters anymore 😭😭😭😭 wonder how zoom's gonna run.......
@@Mak_Editz694 You can already see in season 5
@@farhaanqureshi6899 atleast they made reverse flash cool towards the end

It’s really cool to see the video go from good to bad to good and then back to bad. Season 9 writing, choreography, execution, etc is fucking horrendous.
I wish all heroes didn't have to suffer such painful unthinkable lost
8:10 when you haven't studied for a test because you ridn't know about it
